A gem of a place to stay in DC! Just finished a month-long solo rental. Ideal location: beautiful, safe, vibrant, tree-lined Victorian neighborhood; reasonable walking distances to most key DC sites making every day a sightseeing adventure; active lovely park with 2 historic statues right outside the front door; easy, free street parking right on the block (ask Anna to print a dashboard parking pass for length of your stay); cozy cafe/market on the park for scones, croissants, ice cream, delicacies, etc. Inside, Anna provided a gracious welcome with cafe + Metro cards (nearest stations: Eastern Market or Union Station), wine and snacks. I was lucky to visit during gorgeous spring blooms, cherry blossoms and Anna's wisteria in stunning glory over the garden apt and above. Best bed ever; so-convenient full-size washer/dryer; great shower water pressure; recycling; stocked kitchen. Hated to leave. Can't wait to return. Thanks for your great hospitality, Anna!

I enjoyed my stay here while attending a conference at the Hyatt Regency. It was quiet, clean, and convenient. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Great option for the price in a great location. A 10 minute walk from Union Station and many restaurants. Peaceful at night and a comfy bed to sleep in! The owners do live right above as stated, but it never was too noisy. Just bring earplugs to sleep if that bothers you and you’ll be fine! I also liked how spacious and clean the shower was and it was a plus to have coffee available and a water pitcher in the fridge. Overall, a cozy and safe spot in DC to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Walter’s Airbnb. The location is great, very walkable to nearby parks which is helpful if you have small children, also very close to the Capitol building. The area feels very safe too. We never had any issues parking, even with our large minivan. The unit itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was true to the listing. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others!

Overall great stay, very conveniently located and great for groups of 6-7 people. There are a lot of stairs, but it’s not bad since you’re likely not going up and down a lot, but something worth noting since I had my parents included in our stay. The rooftop access is a nice touch.

Absolutely Amazing. We haven't had an air bnb experience this great in years. I definetly got moneys worth and more. This is not your average basement apartment suite. Host is very hospitabe,proffesional and friendly. The suite is so accommadating. Reminds me of a luxury hotel.

Comfortable appartement that is within walking distance of the train station, many monuments and of the restaurants of Eastern market. Friendly and responsive host.

We were on a road trip and could not have asked for a better place to arrive to! Just so beautiful and so welcoming! A place I would love to live in, nevermind visit! The hosts were excellent communicators, supportive of our plans, and even left a lovely note - and wine! And a coffee bar! Five stars all day long!

This is a lovely home in a neighborhood with a lot of historic charm. Very walkable to the Navy Yard, bikeable to the Anacostia Trail, and we easily walked to the National Mall and the Smithsonian. The house was clean, cozy, and very quiet. Parking was incredibly easy, plentiful, and free. The outdoor spaces were really nice. It rained a bit and we could sit out on the private front porch, and when the sun was out there was a nice back area with tables and chairs. Sam was a kind, responsive, and accommodating host. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent stay at RivahLife! The views were spectacular and the home was exactly as described. Easy to find with lots of stuff for the kids and adults. Looking forward to returning during the warmer months as the fishing, boating, and swimming would be more desirable. Thanks for the high chair and portable crib. Those things really help when traveling with kids.

Lots of space inside. Kitchen well furnished, with new appliances. Bathrooms were spacious, both with huge walk-in showers. Water temperature was lukewarm, at best. Water heater needs adjustment. Bed configuration was strange. Master bedroom had two single beds, with no flexibility to put beds together. Only one TV in 3 BR home. Overall great accommodations, away from busy streets and noisy neighbors.

It was a lovely home that was well situated near DC, Annapolis & other coastal entertainment areas. We especially enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood & many nearby walks with gorgeous water views. Having a king bed ensuite & 1.5 additional baths plus a fenced in yard for our dog made our stay most enjoyable. We would certainly stay again when next in the area.

We had a blast during our stay in Alexandria/DC and your place was a huge part of that! Very cozy and comfortable. Beds were very nice! We loved hanging out on the patio. Every aspect of your townhome is inviting and makes for a great retreat. The metro being super close was the icing on the cake.

A very comfortable, secure and quiet location that was received very clean. Selam is a very responsive host with helpful suggestions. Provided are ample bathroom (shampoo/conditioner and liquid bath wash included), kitchen, and washer/dryer supplies. A fully stocked kitchen with good cooking utensils, knives, and spice rack. Groceries at Safeway is an easy 0.7 mile walk. We enjoyed the Toki Classic Ramen and Half Chicken Steam Bun at the recommended walkable Toki Underground restaurant. The Chocolate Caramel Cloud is a must at the very nearby Capital Candy Jar. Granddaughter enjoyed the large chicken wings with mumbo sauce and the broccoli with brown sauce at Hong Kong Carryout. It is literally a carryout as there are no seats or dining tables. If walkers, it is a nice 30 min. walk to The Capitol, Union Station, and to the U.S. Postal Museum. Our accommodation was a welcome home base during our 7 days in Washington DC. Check out was literally easy-peasy. Thank you Selam!

House was great with space for everyone whether we gathered for a meal or game wanted to spread out. Super easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. GREAT coffee shop and a few gems of restaurants and shops-we were definitely there in off season and the town was not fully opened - lots of opportunity in the town and lots of places getting opened for the season! Would be a great place for a quick summer getaway

Es war das perfekte Apartment für unseren Städte Trip! Die Lage am Capitol Hill ist fantastisch und in 20 Minuten Fussnähe zum Capitol und vielen Museen. Es ist ein ruhiges Wohnviertel mit einigen netten Restaurants in der Nähe! Wenn ich nochmals nach Washington D.C gehen werde, würde ich wieder dieses Apartment buchen!

First time we vacationed in an area that we could park our car and leave it. The busline and Metro were easy enough to navigate, even for seniors. Raul was a big help and answered us promptly.

Clean and comfortable air bnb - worked well as a family of 5. Walkable to metro which is what we used for the majority of our transportation. Beds were very comfortable and area felt super safe and community based. Thanks for a great stay!

Israel place was perfect. It was waking distance to many great venues, like the Nationals Stadium, the Bible museum & the White House even. It had great amenities, water, snacks, coffee & even wine. Israel was responsive. The parking we thought might be a problem but it worked out perfectly because he was able to give us a temp permit.

Very nice place to stay near Gaylord convention center. Super clean condo. All the essentials are there. Lots to do at the resort as well as nearby walking distance. Having a baby in the group we did quite a bit of laundry. A laundry room was on our floor with two washers and four dryers and free of charge. We barely passed anyone on the seventh floor. We would def stay here again.

Amanda’s place exceeded expectations for what I was looking for during a long class away. 1. Convenient location - everything needed was at most a 15 minute walk away. 2. Beautiful and very comfortable apartment with everything I needed for my 5 night stay. 3. Private and safe location 4. Free parking directly outside the entry door 5. Full, well stocked kitchen My only suggestion to people booking is to bring ear plugs. Because it’s located on a Main Street, I was occasionally woken up due to traffic noise. This is nothing the host has control over but just wanted to be informative. I highly recommend Amanda’s place!
