So very peaceful. Loved watching the birds fly off an on to the neighboring pier. Fit our needs perfectly and with the well stocked kitchen we were able to prepare our Thanksgiving meal.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Mr. Theo’s place. We needed a short term stay (2.5 months) while our house was being built and Mr. Theo was a God send! Mr. Theo’s place was clean and absolutely beautiful. The place has everything you need for a short or longer visit. Mr. Theo is the best host. He was always responsive to my questions and truly treats you like family. If you are looking for a place to stay make your booking you won’t regret it.

I enjoyed my stay and was surprised when John on his own sent me a list of things to do and restaurants around the area. He was very helpful to make sure I had all I needed in the house. The place was clean and well maintained. No complaints, definitely recommend if you want to be near DC but not stay in the DC area to rest.

Sandy Feet Retreat in Colonial Beach was a great place to take my daughter and the grandkids for a 3 day Spring Break holiday. The condo was beautifully furnished and very well located on the boardwalk. My family loved having access to the beach right outside the condo and spent many hours collecting shells and sea glass. Fishing from the pier was a thrill for my grandson. I enjoyed peaceful mornings on the balcony and evening time there listening to the waves each day. Thank you Brittany for everything you do to assure a lovely stay for your guests.

Wonderful abnb in the heart of King George. Pam has been great with communication and understanding during a stay with my two younger children. This place beats staying at a hotel and I Would love to come back again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We spent a month in this apartment while waiting for our new home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They were beyond amazing—thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure we had everything we needed. When we had an issue with the refrigerator, they didn’t just fix it; they replaced it with a brand-new one within two days! Their kindness and efficiency made us feel incredibly valued as guests. Spending a full month here, we truly got to appreciate how well-maintained and well-equipped the apartment was. It was a perfect home away from home, and we are so grateful for the hospitality we received. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic stay!

Heather was an amazing host, and the home was absolutely beautiful. Waking up to the waterfront views and the peaceful early morning walks are only some of the reasons why I would stay again. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, look no further.

We had a great stay at Cameron’s home. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate we were able to spend a lot of time on back patio which felt like we were almost outside. Cameron was nice enough to let us check in early. Overall great time and looking forward to next time. Thanks again Cameron.

We stayed here for a trip “home” to Calvert county. Myself and 2 adult kids had many friends come to visit, instead of spending our day driving. This place was beyond perfect for us- from the comfy couches to the open floor plan. The beds were super comfortable and it honestly had a home feeling! If available, we will use this versus a hotel every time hands down. We could not be happier with our long weekend!

This house was great! It had everything we needed while traveling with a baby. Jacqueline was so helpful, friendly and such a pleasant person. Very caring and was available everyone I reached out to her. The house was very comfortable. Our group of 10 had no complaints. I would 100 percent recommend this house to friends and family. This house was amazing. Super clean with lots of amenities. Every detail was thought out to make our stay feel like home. Our kids loved the bunk beds and the UNO and Jenga games. The location was just right, close enough to everything without being right on top of it all. We did not have any issues but when I did reach out to Eboni she responded right away and it was a holiday weekend too. I would definitely recommend this house and looking forward to coming back this summer.

The only thing that could have made our stay better would have been a longer visit in the summertime. Elizabeth has very lovingly and thoughtfully restored this beautiful home. We came in for a weekend full of celebrations and get togethers for a Navy retirement. The Oyster House was very comfortable for our family to sit down to unwind before going to bed to get back at it again in the morning. There were 5 people in our party, and we had no issues with everyone being able to shower. The linens were plush and plentiful. If we have the opportunity to return to Leonardtown The Oyster House will be our place.

Are stay included two families that are in-laws and it was 11 of us total and we had an absolute beautiful weekend it was great the house I cannot say enough about how immaculate and perfect it is how accommodating Megan is how she has so many things that are there that she didn't even tell you and listen the amenity section literally you don't need to bring anything with you but yourself in your clothes we will definitely be back here again for another stay as extended family and I couldn't say more about how wonderful the place is

This place worked wonders for our family vacation. the place is very new and updated with 2 full bathrooms that were clean and spacious for beach time and baths with kids. colonial beach is a hidden gem in a historic little town that seems as though at one point was hustling and bustling but isn't quite as popular as it once was but trying to come back. if your a family looking for a uncrowded beach and some activities to do in the area then this place is great! we actually read about this place being in the heart of historic downtown. only thing we would have loved to see with this place is some outdoor patio spot at the home directly to be able to sit outside together. the location does not really have any night life during the week, not even on 4th of July. we went out at 9 pm and the bar closed at 10 pm which seemed way too early for a Thursday and holiday and being on the beach.

I've stayed in a few different places in Occoquan, which I adore!! This one is by far my favorite for the location and it really is a great value!!

After a little miscommunication on the arrival time, everything was at it should be or better. Great location, clean, responsive well worth it. Great experience and will be back regularly.

House was great with space for everyone whether we gathered for a meal or game wanted to spread out. Super easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. GREAT coffee shop and a few gems of restaurants and shops-we were definitely there in off season and the town was not fully opened - lots of opportunity in the town and lots of places getting opened for the season! Would be a great place for a quick summer getaway

Had an amazing beachfront experience! I was taken aback by the breathtaking views from the balcony. Our host was attentive and made sure everything was in order for our arrival.
