Lounge at a Fresh Mill House in Walkable Downtown Carrboro

Take it easy on the swing seat on the wraparound porch at a luminous 2 bedroom abode in downtown Carrboro. A soothing mocha color palette blends with cool mint, a light wood kitchen, and quartz countertops to create a cozy, contemporary space. Your private entrance to this Carrboro Mill House is the front door on the wrap-around porch, steps from two dedicated parking spaces. Enjoy the weather and the outdoors sitting on the porch. Walk inside to a small downstairs foyer with a coat rack and space for your shoes. The washer/dryer is also downstairs to keep the noise away from the living area. Walk upstairs into the living and kitchen area with all new furniture and fixtures. You’ll notice that there is no door at the top of the stairs, which is one example of why we do not accept young children. The living area seats five comfortably, however only four may sleep at Stone’s Throw. Read, nap, work, watch cable or Apple TV (if you are so equipped) in the living area. The kitchen is fully equipped, with marble countertops and smaller European appliances. Basic spices and other essentials are stocked. The shower/bath is large enough for a relaxing soak, and has a large shower head. Press the small square outline on the lower right side of the mirror and the white backlight turns on, again and the blue light turns on, as shown in the picture. The master bedroom is equipped with a king sized bed, reading lights, USB ports on both nightstands, and a walk in closet. The bed is better than hotel luxury. The second bedroom has a queen bed, a small desk and storage area, also with reading lights and USB ports. Full access to the apartment and porch. We have lived in the area for many years, and are happy to answer your questions! We want you to enjoy your stay and can point you in the right direction. Check-in is self-service making it flexible for you. This quiet residential road is a Stone's Throw from Open Eye Cafe and 1 block south of Main Street and Old Greensboro, Carrboro's city center. Ideally located, restaurants, bars, groceries, pharmacies, the Cat's Cradle and Weaver Street Market are within a two block stroll of Stone's Throw. Walk to the Saturday Farmer's Market, food trucks, casual and fine dining. Connect to the bike path one block away. Catch a free city bus just steps from the front porch. Depending upon your plans, you may or may not need a car. Walking, biking and the free bus system are how a lot of locals get around in Carrboro and downtown Chapel Hill. Lyft and Uber are readily available. You have two reserved parking spaces, which is a definite plus in this area. There are stairs from the downstairs foyer to the full apartment. If you are unsure on stairs, please note that the treads may feel short and the rise may feel steep.

The Artist's Garret at Fearrington

Work remotely surrounded by art and nature. Enjoy art galleries, sculpture garden and nature trails. The Artist's Garret is a 1BR furnished apartment just 8 miles south of Chapel Hill. Artist Forrest Greenslade’s studio is just below. The Greenslade home is behind the studio and Garret. They are always around to see to guests needs and comfort. The apartment is meticulously cleaned and sanitized according to the AirBNB protocol. The air conditioning system is equipped with sanitizing UV light.

The Cozy Bungalow - Noted Historic Home near UNC!

Historic, charming craftsman bungalow snuggled away 3 miles from campus. Loads of character open + space. Park-and-ride lot across the street. It's on a highway, behind a privacy fence and trees so the traffic noise is muted. Great for college games, the hospital, visiting students! Bungalow retreat: spacious, light, easy access!

Comfortable, airy, light and stylish refurbished bungalow with a large kitchen, shower and bathroom, great outdoor space with a fenced in back yard, chickens, and various fruit trees. The place is centrally located between Duke University and downtown. It’s an easy walk to one of Durham’s best coffee shops, Coco Cinnamon and easy distance to the Durham Coop, Guglehupf, Nasher Museum, The Scrap Exchange, Lakewood, and many other great Durham spots. Private front and back entries, large deck.

Dishes, pots and pans are available. 2 TVs (43 inch in living room and 32” in bedroom) with basic cable, high speed internet.The only shared space is the laundry room where guests have access to washer and high capacity dryer. Enjoy this apartment only 2 blocks from campus in the Franklin Rosemary historic district. You will love being so close to Sorority Row, Starbucks, Top of The Hill, Kenan stadium and everything Franklin St has to offer! The entire apartment is available with two bedrooms and a shared bath. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a washer/dryer and a Keurig coffee maker. There is parking for one car in front of the cottage and an exterior outlet for your electric car.

Amazing studio - walk to downtown Carrboro!

Come stay in one of the best places in downtown Carrboro! A less than five minute walk will get you to Weaver Street Market and all the shops, restaurants, and bars downtown. This studio apartment is part of a triplex that shares a large yard with 2 other units. You'll get to enjoy lots of natural light, original hardwood floors and a tiny kitchen that will meet all of your needs! Way more spacious than a hotel room, and as close to downtown as you can get.
