Folly Guest House was a wonderful home away from home! Martha, the owner met us at the house and showed us around. She provided a few drinks to get us started as well as other basic necessities for the week. The home was clean and well stocked to get guests started with their vacation. The location was perfect…about mid-way down the island making it easily a accessible to both the northern and southern ends of the island. There were multiple restaurants within walking distance as well as 2 grocery stores. Multiple beaches were within a 10-15 min drive. The view from the home was also AMAZING! The only thing was that the home was advertised as having a washer but there was not one in the home. This was not an issue for us but something to note for others.

Paradise! Everything you ever imagined. House was perfect and the beach was amazing. We hardly saw anyone. There are two restaurants 5 minutes away Local grocery store and shopping 15 minutes away in Governor’s Harbor. Definitely take advantage of some excursions to really appreciate everything the island offers. We can’t wait to plan our next visit👍

Very nice house with lots of space (we were 2 adults and 4 kids). We loved the 2 living rooms and the big dining room! You can watch the beautiful sunsets from the patio or chill in the backyard. We brought frozen meat and made lots of BBQs. That helped us with the food during the few power outages. The host was very helpful with tips. There are awesome and lonely beaches within 15min drive. There are nice restaurants in the town, try them all! Supermarket and gas station is right around the corner and you can get fresh bread from the bakery (5min walk) or muffins and espresso (1min walk) in the morning.

Pebbles is in a beautiful location and has a great, almost private, beach! The place is simple but comfortable and clean. Eleuthera is a beautiful island and Pebbles is in a great location. We were off season so many restaurants and shops were closed. Just keep it in mind if you need to be out for dinner every night. We scored at the fish market so enjoyed our fresh fish every night. Beautiful, spacious, spotless, well equipped e.g. kitchen. Justin met us at the house and explained all. He made helpful recommendations about local stores including the excellent Farm store at Palmetto point. Be prepared for price sticker shock for everything apart from rum! Be sure to look up specific directions to house. Key location ID is turning off next to Working Mens' Hostel, now a police HG, on Queen's highway. There is a lot of helpful info in binders and books in the house. Essential to rent a car. We used Wilton car rentals in Governor's Harbour. They brought our car to Eleuthera airport (ELH). Very responsive. It would have been a distinct plus if the pool had been a bit larger, but we visited beautiful beaches within 15-20 mins by car. Pascal's has a great pool and offers excellent Bahamian lunches. The local Bahamian people are absolutely wonderful-very friendly and most helpful. We had a very successful week long family vacation. We highly recommend this property

We loved our time at this cozy villa in Eleuthera! It's a bit old. Tucked away in nature, it's perfect for a peaceful family getaway. Highly recommend for nature and beach lovers!

We had a wonderful time at the property – so secluded and close to the most beautiful beach – the dock was wonderful to just sit out and watch the sun set and the turtles swim by. The home was clean, and the pool was nice – this was just what the doctor ordered. Violet and Charles are very nice and always accommodating – great team.

Tranquility was a home away from home. The only concern was the internet was in and out on the island, something beyond anyone control. But the place was beautiful and clean. Thanks again for your hospitality.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We checked in early and when we arrived the house was just lovely. Dom met us there and gave us a wonderful tour of the house and area. Both he and Joy were so helpful weeks before we arrived and during our stay. We had one minor issue and Dom immediately sent a plumber to fix things up. I can’t say enough about these wonderful hosts and this lovely property. We will be back !!

We absolutely loved our stay! The rooftop sunrise viewing deck was a dreamy place to have coffee (don’t forget the bug spray), the neighborhood cats and pups were welcome visitors since our furry children weren’t with us, and the use of a golf cart to get to French Leave beach was a treat (and what an incredible beach it is). My only note would be make sure to put all items in the house at night as we had a water shoe go missing halfway through our trip, which made some of our excursions more difficult. The house has everything you could possibly need to cook, entertain, unwind, and relax! Thank you Joy & Dom for a fabulous vacation!

I used this for my make up artist and hairstylist to stay at for my wedding. The ladies got ready here. Very spacious and clean home. Ms. Candi was easy to contact.

This original but restored cottage had everything and more you will need. The home is clean and beautifully decorated with comfy beds, pillows and linens. Full size washer dryer worked well for us. Beach towels and beach chairs for our daily beach visits. The home also had spices, and cabinet left overs that were not only helpful but made us feel at home, laundry detergent, spices, etc. Our daily visits with the local animals, kitties, roosters and dog was special for the kids. The rear yard was like a fairy garden, filled with beautiful mango trees and little lights at night. This home is on the top of the Gov.Harb. hill with easy walk to grocery, Buccaneers restaurant, the new Squires cafe (which is amazing), church and even the wine store. Walkable to the beach (french leave) although the wind was on the Altantic side this week so we headed to all Caribbean side beaches. We had coffee on the front porch every morning. This home has special touches. We will be back!

Our group of 4 spent a week at Coconut Point in December of 2022. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The house was clean and well stocked with a wide amount of amenities from the kitchen to the linens to items for outdoor use. The location is remote and peaceful with a great beach for walking. One note, if you are hoping to work remotely, the internet was hit and miss, and pretty slow when working. But it's Eleuthera, best to not work at all! Cheers

Beautiful house with an amazing rooftop lookout of the Atlantic! This house is gorgeous and has everything you need for a wonderful stay in Governor’s Harbor! Quick and easy drive to town, the Caribbean and the Atlantic. Joy and Dominic were amazing hosts and extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

Our stay was perfect. The house was perfectly located to where we could get to the Atlantic or Caribbean in minutes. There was a golf cart provided which made it easy to take everything for a beach day. Everything you needed was provided. The Atlantic beach was like having your own private mile long beach. Also the Twin Coves beach and French Leave beach were a close drive and great for snorkeling. Our host Terri was wonderful. She responded very quickly to any questions we had and had great recommendations for dinner, where to buy groceries or any other things we needed. Governors Harbour was a short drive away and had plenty of great restaurants. All in all, a perfect week. We could nut have asked for anything more.

we stayed in the sunset apartment. the windows face the forest. it was very comfortable. we describe it as beach rustic. Doon, Taja's mom, who runs the Airbnb, was very helpful and available for questions and recommendations.

The place is more than beautiful. The property is located on a beachfront lot. The beach itself is really serene, we’ve seen only 3 people on it over the 4 days we’be passed there…. And it was Christmas… The villa is spacious for our party of two and could ideally accomodate a family. You’ll have every accessories you need to spend 2-3 weeks vacation there. We wish we’d book for longer but decided to visit a couple of Bahamian islands on our 10 day visit. There are lots of good restaurants nearby but a car is really a must if you want to reabh them easily. We liked afternoon munches at Potlatch Club, dinners at Bougainvillea and, of course, relax snacks at Tippy’s. Barbara is a great host and did everything she could to accomodate our (belated by the airline company) arrival and departure. Her manager, Winifred, is also really pleasant to deal with and efficent. I definetly would go again and recommend the place.

This was our first trip to Eleuthera. We wanted to explore central and south Eleuthera with a house away from crowds. Exploring and connecting with the location we travel to is always a priority to us. The Round House was perfect. We only ate out twice, using the kitchen (except oven) to prepare our meals. In the evenings we relaxed inside with all the windows open listening to the Atlantic and always comfortable with the breeze. The beautiful landscape around the house makes it so easy to fall completely into the island experience. We had a fantastic 7 night vacay. Taja and Doon helped make that happen. We enjoyed visiting with locals on the island. The absolute nicest people!

Really good place recommend highly. Nice quiet spot.
