Cataforio : locations de vacances

Myself and my partner stayed here for 4 nights, we both agree this is the best air BnB we have ever stayed in. The location is amazing and so peaceful, we even saw a small eruption on Mount Etna on our final night which we sat and watched while listening to the waves. You fall asleep listening to the ocean, the accommodation is exactly what you need it to be with a kitchen full the necessary equipment. The best part of the Air BnB however was how friendly Antonio and his family were, they made us feel at home straight away and were more than happy to help us with any request, Antonio even gave us some chilli oil from his garden for us to take home (which was superb). On top of that they had the most gorgeous dogs that would happily sit with you or join you for a walk on the beach which made the experience even more enjoyable. If you are thinking of booking a holiday here just do it you will not be disappointed. We will hopefully be coming back time and time again.

Incredible views and a great location. We enjoyed the balcony, easy access to a great beach which has food, drinks and short boat rides and an easy short walk to the trolley for a Taormina visit. Jane arranged for parking for 10 EU/day. Amusingly we ended up not needing a car other than for coming and going to the airport because everything was so convenient. We arrived to find snacks and wine for us and Jane stayed up and guided us in until 1:30am because of our unexpected late arrival! We did struggle with noise late from live music and upstairs guests late a couple of nights, so a slight struggle for light sleepers. Thank you Jane for sharing your gem and being such an incredible host. We loved our stay and couldn’t be happier with Jane’s responsiveness and caring.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans l appartement de Graziano, situé dans une petite ruelle du charmant village de Castelmola. Son papa Rino nous a donné rdv à l entrée du village et l avons suivi en voiture jusqu à une place de parking privé en contrebas. Mieux vaut laisser sa voiture au parking et descendre en bus jusqu à Taormina. L appartement était grand et confortable, superbe terrasse à l étage avec vue sur la mer. Merci !

We stayed 2 nights at Villa Kate. It was very quiet and peaceful with lovely views of the sea and Giardini Naxos. The Villa was a calm antidote to the hustle and bustle of Taormina above. It was a short walk up the hill to town and supermarket. The Villa had everything you needed and was very clean. We ate fresh Medlars from the tree in the garden. Caterina was a good communicator regarding arrangements for arrival. My only suggestion would be to make your own way down the small steep lane to the parking spot right by the Villa to meet Caterina on arrival, rather than the suggestion she made of meeting at the cafe up the hill as it is a very busy intersection of traffic lights where there is no parking to wait for her - that part was unnecessarily stressful!

Our stay at Elisabetta’s place was great! The apartment is well located in centre of Reggio Calabria, 15 min walk away from sea and 5 min from train station. The place was clean, with a lot of space (3 rooms!). Elisabetta was very responsive and friendly. She helped us in emergency situation and shared tips about our stay and city. We will be happy to book her apartment once we are again in Reggio Calabria. Do I recommend? Totally!!!

Utsikten från Lucias terass var magnifik både morgon o kväll. En bättre utsikt är svårt att tänka sig både mot havet och mot Etna. Alla rummen var mycket gemytliga o tillräcklgt stora.Köket är välutrustat med nya maskiner. Lucias lägenhet kan varmt rekommenderas även för de mest anspråksfulla besökare. Lucia kommunicerade mycket bra och hade koll på allt som behövdes. I ärlighetens namn måste ändå sägas att rörelsebehindrade personer säkert har det svårt att gåendes ta sig upp till huset ifråga från stadens centrum. Höjdskillnaderna i Taormina är rätt stora. Vi trivdes utomordentligt bra i det vackra Taormina.En uppsjö av restauranter gör det svårt att välja ”den rätta”och fastän vår vistelse var i slutet av oktober var det mycket turister igång. Vi var supernöjda med vår 12 dagars vistelse i Lucias lägenhet och Taormina. Sirkku o Theo

We had a memorable stay at Claudios Villa in Taromina. The house is beautiful, the beds are very comfortable and the space is perfect for a family of 5. The short walk to and from town is steep with lots of stairs , but we loved the excersise and being able to reach restaurants and local sites on foot is fantastic. Seeing Mt Etna erupt in the distance was a highlight. Lella was a wonderful host , very helpful and responsive. Thanks again for a great stay.

Such a spacious, comfortable, light-filled apartment for two couples. We had everything we needed, and more. Barbara and Maurizio are so friendly and helpful, and very patient with jet-lagged travelers. Thank you for an excellent visit in Reggio!

Wir haben zu Zweit 4 Nächte bei Salvatore verbracht. Die Schlafzimmer sind sehr groß, die Matratzen waren sehr gut. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Außenbereich ist sehr schön gestaltet, der Strandzugang ist super. Eine echte kleine Oase am Ende der Flaniermeile im sehr umtriebigen Giardini Naxos. Der Garten mit Meerblick ist super, aus einer Ecke kann man sogar den Etna sehen. Auch vom Strand aus. Liegen sind vorhanden. Das Appartment war blitzsauber. Alles Notwendige für einen entspannten Aufenthalt stand zur Verfügung. Salvatore ist ein super Gastgeber, Check-In und Check-Out waren völlig problemlos und an unseren Bedürfnissen orientiert. Auch für Rückfragen stand er immer zur Verfügung. Es gab kostenlose PArkplätze in allernächster Nähe. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder bei Slavatore buchen.
