"The Shedd" used to be a shed before our architect got a hold of it and turned it into a retreat for writing, reading, and napping. Close to downtown Bellingham and the Mt Baker Ski / recreation area. Perfect for a couple or single Bellingham explorer, Mt Baker bound, or adventure travelers. This Dairy Barn built in 1912 is completely remolded, beautiful wood work with stair access to the top 1000 sq.ft. floor loft. Drive around the back where parking is provided next to stair entrance. Full kitchen and bathroom, one queen bed, one fold out Futon couch, gas heat stand alone fireplace. Very private. Self check in.

Enjoy this charming 1950's farmhouse, situated on 150 acres of countryside. Within an easy drive of Carlton, McMinnville, and Dundee—it's an ideal location for the exploring the area's many offerings. The house is well-appointed and surrounded by abundant gardens, towering cedar and fir trees—plus, a flock of chickens, three heritage sheep, and our Bengal cats add interest to the place. We live on the property (next door) with ample privacy/gardens between our place and the farmhouse.

The Apartment is spacious, beautiful and sleeps 2 in a queen bed. Up to 2 more people can stay but bring pads and bedding for them. Enjoy the private balcony overlooking the woods & creek. The Bath House is for you only but is a separate building & located only 20 feet away. It has a claw foot tub, shower, sink, etc. It is worth the walk. Enjoy a farm get-a-way. Our place is amazing but rural so dogs bark, geese honk, donkeys bray, horses neigh, etc. Join us to slow down.
