"Indians" at the Bunk House

The "Bunk House" is about a mile above Roan Mountain State Park and has been completely renovated. It consists of two units that are decorated in a rustic style that children will love and we like to call "Cowboys" and "Indians". "Indians has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed with rhododendron branch headboard, and the other with an authentic looking (No fooling) Covered Wagon Bed with room for a couple of young braves or princesses. Many favorites include Carver's Gap, the Blue Hole, Roan Mountain State Park etc. For those who love to ski/snowboard we are a few minutes from Beech and for Nascar enthusiast we are 25 miles from Bristol Motor Speedway. No matter what walk of life you are from, I am confident you will enjoy your stay!

Although Watauga Lake is our main attraction, we are near a number of waterfalls, hiking trails, mountain biking trails and the shopping areas surrounding the Tri-Cities and Boone, NC.

The Reserve on South Holston River is a two story 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath country home which sleeps 8 to 10 people. The home is located on the world famous tailwaters of the South Holston River with over 1 mile of privately owned river frontage. One half mile of the frontage is perfectly groomed for your easy access and provides plenty of spots available for launching your boat, relaxing on the river bank or wading the waters.
