The cottage is in a rural location about 3 miles from Clachan, 4 miles from Tayinloan.

The golf course is just a minute away and village pub and selection of eateries within walking distance. Dogs are welcome - first 2 dogs free.

Welcome to Whin Cottage, a cosy stonebuilt home on the South West coast of Arran. Dating from 1900 when it was a farm house, it looks out over fields to the southern Arran hills. Our cottage is a great place to escape from the many stresses of everyday life, have a digital detox ( no wifi by choice) whilst offering a perfect base from which to discover Arran. Beautiful peaceful & cosy 1 bed cottage in Millport on the Isle of Cumbrae just 200 metres from beach and Millport town centre. A great deal of thought has gone into making the cottage extra comfortable for your stay. Available for your private use, in a very peaceful location on the island with lovely sea views from the bedroom. There’s a private entrance, south facing terrace with dining table & chairs & a further 2 comfortable armchairs for you to enjoy the sun or breakfast

Tarsuinn, a charming and traditional cottage

Tarsuinn cottage is in an elevated location with spectacular views over the Shiskine valley surrounded by farmland. There is a small fenced garden to the side of the cottage with a bench in a very sunny spot. To the rear there is a farmyard belonging to the neighbouring farm, which is mostly a sheep farm and not too busy. Just a 5 minutes long walk away you can find the Bellevue farm and enjoy a guided tour and lots of animals, even Alpacas.
