Nice place to stay. Easy check-in and Checkout. Did not have to call with any issues but received several messages letting us know how to get in touch with them if we needed something. Definitely would recommend.

The home was gorgeous and very comfortable.

Loved our time at BB&T by the Sea! House is as beautiful as pictures, and hosts (spoke with both James and Hugh on separate occasions) were friendly and attentive. Setup with separate bungalow was ideal for my parents who stayed with us for the week, and we loved being able to walk to both the beach and to get ice cream (Beaches & Sweets is a little gem!). Overall, would recommend for anyone looking to stay in Oak Island!

Min and Glen have an awesome place, great location and not far from the beach. We love bringing our dog on trips and Min and Glen were very accommodating. Also we had to change dates and Min made it stress free. We would totally stay at the City Woes 2 Sandy Toes again.

This place was exactly as listed. The access to the beach made it so easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will definitely return.

We had a great stay at Kolleen’s place. Loved the front screened porch to relax in and listen to the birds. Was very peaceful. We came down for Easter and to visit my son, who lives in Oak Island. Kolleen’s place was just as described and had plenty of room for my family of 5. We even hosted dinner, one evening, for 7 of us (plus 2 dogs) and there was plenty of room. The walk to the beach was not bad at all, just a little tricky crossing the main road (but doable). The bikes were an added plus. Would definitely stay here again.

Yolanda was very accommodating. Place was as described and seemed newly renovated. The price was a bit much for one night, but I'm assuming it goes down some if you get it for longer.

We needed a short-term rental while our home was being completed, and Brandi's home was the perfect fit. The location was ideal—close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. The spacious yard was great for our pups, and the quiet neighborhood provided a lovely setting for walks. Brandi was incredibly welcoming and ensured we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. If I were simply visiting the area, I would highly recommend this location, as it offers convenient access to a variety of attractions, from Myrtle Beach to Wilmington.

Booked this place for a local half Ironman triathlon. it was perfectly located between all the sites I needed to get to afford the event but also close to several restaurants and beach and downtown. exceptionally clean and cozy place, quiet and peaceful. Friendly and extremely responsive host. Will book it again next year when I come back to race. Highly recommend it.

We chose the Tipsy Turtle for our annual family New YEAR beach getaway. This house was our best stay of any beachhouse we've rented. It was exactly as they stated, spacious, well decorated and clean. it felt like home immediately. the grand kids enjoyed every minute. The host and co-host stayed in communications immediately when we asked any questions. This home and the host have ruined us for all other host. We have already booked our next stay and can't wait to go back

This place was amazing! The pool was beautiful and great for our family. We always take our dogs on vacation and the fenced in back yard was awesome. The ping pong table, foosball table and games kept us busy as well. Felt like home away from home. I would definitely come back next time we are Wilmington. Great place for families and dogs.

Great location, and a great time. Backyard with pool is perfect with plenty of room for activities and entertaining. You can walk to the beach and restaurants within minutes.

To begin with, Alex was a great host, the communication and accommodation were fantastic. Responsive to our needs from an early check to a late check out. The house was a wonderful place to stay we had a large group of 12 and everyone had plenty of space. We enjoy the stay and also enjoy the amenities like the pool table, unfortunately we couldn’t use the pool because of the weather but other wise we enjoy our stay.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway on Topsail Island. Jopseph's place is very spacious, even when staying with two couples you'd have plenty of room in case of bad weather. Getting to the beach is less than three minute walk and a popular bar and small convenience store are right across the street, so you won't even need your car.

There are not enough kind words to say about our host, Jenny, or her beautiful home. I had just lost my dad and my aunt, and my kids lost the same, a week or so before so I decided we all needed a place to rest, relax, and find a little peace and came across "MaxMojoDojo" and it just felt right, and boy let me tell you it sure was. Not only is Jenny's place as beautiful and clean as described on the site it was warm and cozy too. All the kids enjoyed the pool and all the other games she has available, and my coffee each morning was perfect from both balconies with beautiful views of the ocean. Exactly the right spot to make peace with the goodbyes I had make just a week before. I reached out to Jenny just a couple times and she responded with in minutes and had the answers I needed. Thank you, Jenny, for providing what the soul needed. We will be back!

This property is truly a hidden gem! Perfectly situated near the beach but strategically positioned to offer protection from the wind—you get all the benefits of a beachfront location without sand blowing everywhere during your stay. The location couldn't be better for beach lovers. Just a short walk to the sand, but set back just enough to create a peaceful retreat after a day of sun and surf. Jill was an exceptional host throughout our entire stay. Her attentiveness made us feel well taken care of—she regularly checked in to ensure we were enjoying the property and promptly offered assistance whenever needed. The property itself was lovely and provided everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect beach getaway, and we hope to return soon!

Ed’s place was perfect for our quick getaway. His house is just as described. In a nice, quiet neighborhood with views of the sound/intercostal and unique canals. Easy walk (4 min) to the beach and short (5 min) drive to the heart of Surf City and the bridge. Place was clean, comfortable, and had everything you’d need. Ed is very responsive, and a great host. We’d love to return.

As always, such a beautiful place to stay. Always cozy and clean. Love being close to the beach as well! Always a pleasure staying!

This was a cute little place perfect for a last minute beach trip. A fairly easy and short walk to the beach access was perfect. The only thing the 2nd half bath I did not consider as this. There is only a sink and a washer and dryer, no toilet. My family enjoyed our stay and loved the location of this rental. Thank you!!!

Gloria & Kevin’s place was so nice. It has beautiful views of the water, especially from in your private screen porch. The apartment is very large and roomy enough for a family. It has an amazing private beach that was awesome. Gloria & Kevin were great hosts very easy going and responded quickly to any questions we had. It is a great place for some secluded R &R. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable peaceful escape.

Amazing Airbnb. My husband and I were so happy we chose this place… we have 2 dogs and they both loved the backyard. The house was clean and never did we feel unsafe staying here. The neighborhood is beautiful and what you see in pictures is exactly what you’re getting. Book here!!

great spacious home, nearby beaches, grocery store, and reasonable trip to the airport. Host was friendly and checked in with us to make sure everything was good. really enjoyed this one.

We stayed 2 nights. We arrived early and Katherine allowed us to check in early. Parking is available in front, but the street was very busy and Katherine made accommodations to park off street. Katherine made us aware of a parade the next day on the night before we left, which prompted us to leave earlier and miss the traffic. EXCELLENT host!
