Gorgeous property in a great location, easily walkable from the train station, city centre and bus stops onto the university of Lancaster. Responsive and helpful host. comfortable beds and great facilities. Perfect for a stay with friends or a family.

Even though I had to clean the toilet (there were stains on the upstairs toilet) we still loved our stay at Naomi's place. The garden is beautiful and the furniture is comfortable, and the living room recliners are perfect. I really liked the linen, the feel and the smell.

had a great multi generation stay here to celebrate my 60th birthday and our 40th wedding anniversary. lovely house with lots of bathrooms. great location. Hayley is responsive and helpful. Excellent accommodation. Stylish apartments, beautifully furnished , well equipped and spotlessly clean. Situated in the heart of Clitheroe , within walking distance to the castle and all amenities. Fabulous restaurants and beautiful countryside nearby. Responsive hosts. Would highly recommend .

Absolute gem of a house. Mark couldn’t have been a better host. House was spotless and extremely well appointed. Ansdell is a perfect spot as it’s easily accessible to Lytham and close to Fairhaven. My family lives in Lytham and when there is a big get together we sometimes need to find extra accommodation. This has been the best one we have found so far. Thank you Mark.

A lovely, home from home. We settled right in. Everything you need. House was clean and welcoming. Stephen was very helpful and friendly. Location is very close to tower (30 min walk with kids!). Would definitely stay here again.

This is a charming apartment, in a wonderful location right in the heart of the town. Ideal for the 4 of us. Also having a parking permit for local car parking is a great bonus for this property.

My fiancée, our dog and I stayed with Liz for 3 nights recently. We absolutely adored the property, it was lovely and peaceful, it has wonderful surroundings and it is very peaceful. Liz is a lovely lady, although we didn’t meet with her during our stay, she was always on hand to help us with any questions that we might have had. The property is very modern, very clean and very well equipped. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was fantastic after a day of walking in the sun. Our dog, Mabel, was very happy too. There was plenty of space for her to explore and there is plenty of great walks, such as Ingleton Falls, which isn’t a long drive away. We had no issues with the property, or Liz, and we felt incredibly welcomed. We really appreciate your hospitality and hopefully we will be able to stay with you again in the future. Thank you ever so much again.

Had a fantastic weekend with friends. Fabulous location right in the middle of town. Lots of great walks, pubs and cafes. The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. Free parking 10 mins away - we dropped our bags at the door then parked.

Great host! Amazing place and great view. We needed a private, relaxing getaway and this place was just right. We enjoyed the local attractions and loved every bit of the place. House was neat and Dave was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended!!

Very good apartment. Warm and comfortable. The hot tub is a great addition. Especially after a nice walk around the area. The pub across the road is a very welcoming friendly pub and the food was tasty. Great comms and host. Thanks and probably see you again!

Janet's place was the perfect cosy getaway for hiking the three peaks. Easily accessible from Settle station and the high street, the accommodation felt just like a home away from home. Would love to visit again!

We had a really lovely stay at Simon and Cath’s place, for a week with our kids. The place was ideal - easy to find, and walkable to the town centre. The accommodation was well laid out and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Our hosts were extremely helpful, with local tips and advice. Thank you for a great stay! Perfect location for exploring the seafront, directly opposite the gorgeous art deco Midland Hotel. Very spacious, clean apartment with everything you could need for a self-catering stay. Would definitely recommend and stay again next time in the area.

Nikki was a fantastic host. The place is absolutely stunning. I loved how it was so dog friendly. The hot tub was 10/10, one of the best I have used. Beach is only 2 minute walk away with lots of cafes and places to eat. The town centre isn't far only 10 minute walk. Would definitely recommend. Me, my partner and our dog had a lovely weekend.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is finished to a high standard. You can hear a small bit of noise from the other apartment, but nothing that bothered us. It’s right by the river with a small balcony to sit on. It’s well located with around a 20 min drive to Windermere. Sophie and Mark were very responsive on messages.

Lovely home from home, very comfy bed and spotlessly clean home for the weekend. Easy to find in a quite safe road with off road parking and private entrance. Great find and will visit again.

Had a wonderful weekend in this spotlessly clean and fantastically situated property. Very comfortable bed and great shower. Took advantage of the recommended restaurants and had one of the best meals for a long time at the San Pietro Windermere Restaurant, thank you Glyn for the heads up. Would certainly not hesitate to book the property again if we ever return to the area.

The Ticking Room proved to be an excellent choice for a few days of peace and quiet in an attractive Dales setting. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard. Warm, comfortable and well-equipped with everything a visitor might need. The village of Cononley has a couple of nice pubs and a village stores. The trains into Skipton are frequent and there are plenty of attractive villages in the area. The Ticking Room proved an excellent base for a short break. Jayne is readily available, helpful and eager to ensure her guests are comfortable and well-informed on the local facilities.

What a gem of a place! We just needed a place to stay before an event at RSBP Leighton Moss (10min v. scenic drive) that required an early morning. Located right in the middle of Carnforth - about 5-10min walk from train station - and round corner from supermarket. Parking is on-street, we managed to get a space but could see some potential issues (nothing the owners can do - just modern life). We were so impressed with this little place, can't believe how much useful stuff the owners managed to get into the property without it feeling cluttered - microwave (with useful microwavable containers), kettle/toaster, an airfryer(!), fridge, coffee machine and more. And not to mention the "care package" - cereals and breakfast items, milk and OJ, tinned goods, sweet treats, crisps and fruit, plus the usual tea, coffee etc., and every type of toiletries you could ask for. Bed was really comfy, and the bathroom was spacious and clean with a lovely walk-in shower. Would stay again if in the area

Ray & Sue's place is superb, very well equipped to a high standard. We found everything to be exactly just right for our needs. Would recommend and would definitely love to return again next time.
