We had an amazing stay. The cabin was clean, cozy and beautiful beyond our expectations. Exquisite view of the lake, amazing stars, absolutely anything we could want in a north woods retreat. Will be back for sure!

Excellent stay! The location is ideal for a north shore adventure and the cabin makes a fantastic basecamp. Comfortable, clean, and thoughtful arranged to accommodate outdoor gear, cooking needs, and hang out space. Not to mention the Lake superior view and private waterfront space!

Amanda's Airbnb was exactly what we needed for the two days. It had PLENTY of space, the place was VERY CLEAN, the kitchen had all essentials. Couldn't have asked for easier instructions. There were plenty of books that helped us perfectly plan our north shore gateway. Plus there was a Kwik trip and a grocery store <2 mins drive away which was sooooo helpful!

Perfect little getaway! It’s a great and convenient location. Only a mile from a public boat launch and there’s a nice resort with great food about a 3 minute walk away! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The guest cabin was a nice addition to our stay as well. The driveway has a nice little wrap around area so we could just pull straight in and loop around with a trailer on. Never needed to back up which was very handy since the highway is pretty busy. I will recommend this space to anyone looking to stay on Mille lacs!

Great place to stay. We had 12 adults and a baby staying here and there was plenty of room to mingle and a place for everyone to sleep. The host was responsive and very friendly. We came to Hill City for a wedding and enjoyed having our family at this home, and our extended family in the unit just downstairs. The surroundings were beautiful and we went on several scenic walks. I definitely recommend this Airbnb.

Place was fantastic. We stayed 3 nights (March, 2025) with four young kids, two adults. Everything is very well communicated/clear (access, entry, garage, rules, etc) everything is known up front (kitchen items, fireplace, etc) Place is big and quiet too. Very clean, updated, cozy, and well lit (also with blackout curtains in all bedrooms) Kitchen is nice with everything you need to cook, including a grill (already had tea, keurig coffee and cups, oil, seasonings, including paper towels, zip locks, detergent, soap, etc) There is everything you need for the beach (chairs, toys, towels). Tons of games, puzzles, and books. But the best of all..... private beach, sauna, tons of firewood, garage, AND a washer/dryer. Fantastic North Shore Location (near Split Rock Lighthouse, Gooseberry Falls, Two Harbors, Tettegouche, etc). It's quiet, it's big, it's got everything you need, it's a great set up and we would proudly recommend this place to any of our family and friends!

Patty and Dale's place was perfect for our weekend getaway! The apartment was clean, simple, cute, and had everything we needed. Quiet, comfortable and a great spot to relax after a day of exploring. It’s off the main Hwy. but still in the heart of the action and walking distance to several restaurants, shops, and the local brewery. Do North was our favorite for pizza, and Vanilla Bean has fantastic coffee and breakfast. The architectural antique store had some unique finds too. Agate Bay Beach and the Two Harbors Lighthouse were just minutes away, which made it super convenient to explore the area. Patty and Dale were wonderful hosts. Communication was clear and timely, and Patty checked in a couple of times during our stay. She was quick to answer questions and made sure we had what we needed. The apartment was a perfect landing spot between our weekend adventures, and the price was spot on. We’d definitely stay here again!

It was a wonderful stay at your beautiful cabin! All of your antiques and decorations were amazing, it was like a museum of hunting and fishing items. Very comfy beds and furniture. We felt right at home the entire time! The fireplace really warmed up the cabin and lent a cozy feel. We enjoyed a campfire every day and evening as we took in the lake views. Having Powell's Restaurant such a short walk away was very handy! We look forward to our next visit!

Really interesting location to watch all the canal action- can’t even be mad about the 6AM ship’s horn- it’s all part of the experience. The house was excellent for 3 kids under 5 and the toys and books available were a hit! The house had all we needed and with great beach access and walkable to lots of great places we could have stayed much longer!
