Hilo Bay Sunrise

Location! This great new solar home is located just 2 miles north of downtown Hilo while sitting on quiet acreage in a gated community overlooking the Hilo Bay and Coconut Island and 5 miles to the airport. The perfect balance of being in the country and close to everything! We are close to black sand beaches, surf, botanical gardens and waterfalls! The Hilo farmers market is 2 miles away! Come and relax in the hammock on the lanai with tropical breezes! (Please note there are entry stairs)

Bamboo Bungalow

Our slice of paradise sits on 1 acre of manicured tropical orchard with over 40 varieties of fruit trees, a giant stand of bamboo, hundreds of orchids and herbs. Newly constructed unattached studio cottage with canopy queen size bed and super comfortable full size futon. Indoor bath with shower and outdoor bamboo shower. Brand new kitchen and an adorable lanai for enjoying the panoramic view of sunset or morning coffee. Our teak swing above the cottage offers a horizon view of the ocean.

Forest Hale Cabin @ Permaculture Farm, Waterfall

A beautiful get-away surrounded by nature on a cacao farm! One-bedroom + loft cabin, full kitchen, bathroom, w/d, sunny lanai, on our Big Island off-grid permaculture farm. Cabin is nestled in a food forest a few hundred feet from a stunning waterfall with swimming hole in a peaceful bamboo grove. One king-size bed in bedroom, two twin beds in loft, which has low ceiling & is accessed by steep narrow stairs. Free entrance to botanic garden. Organic eggs, homemade chocolate at farmstand!

The fastest available wifi that covers the entire property, quiet air conditioning in every bedroom\living space, washing machine and dryer, smartTVs with Netflix, Keurig Coffee Maker and much more. Hilo Hale is the house we dreamed of staying at when we travel, and we are very excited to be able to share it with you and your family.

My house is a couple of short miles from Hilo town and offers, quite simply, the best ocean front view possible. You will look down upon crashing waves and out across the Bay to Hilo and to the surfers gliding down the silver waves. The view is dramatic but relaxing. During whale season, this is the best possible location for viewing. Sometimes they come so close you can look into their eyes. The house is fully equipped. This will be your Pacific vacation to remember.

Country Guest Home

(REF TAX ID TA005-218-0480-01) Enjoy time in a small (384 sq ft) self-contained guest shack with full kitchen in a rural setting. If you don't find the sound of coqui frogs at night obtrusive to your sleep, then this space would be suitable. While you will have privacy, my dad stays in the main house in case you need assistance in person. We are located at about 100 foot of elevation which provides for relatively cooler nights.

Off-Grid Rainforest Retreat

Your cabin is located 30 minutes from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. It features a queen size bed, queen size air mattress, a space heater, ceiling fan, and floor fan. Relax & start your day with a complementary cup of coffee or hot tea on your lanai. You're also welcome to prepare & enjoy meals in the screened communal & well-stocked kitchen, where you'll feel close to nature with lots of space for meal prep & dining.

Hilo Town on the Water

This property sits on Kalanianaole Park which is on Hilo Bay. The Ice Pond is next door and connects to the ocean. Close to town, just 2 miles from the airport close to shopping and restaurants. We are in a busy area and there is noise but the location is convenient and the house is well equipped. If you are sensitive to noise this is not your house. If you want charm on the ponds of Hilo this is your house!

Stay in a volcano, on a volcano... Don't let your adventure stop at the national park! Come experience living in a luxurious volcano dome home where you will live in synergy with the natural exquisite surroundings. The cinder we used to build the whole dome comes from the local query produced from big island's natural volcanic features. We promise you'll lava it!
