With 180 degree water views, what could be better?! We saw birds, incredible sunrises over the bay, and enjoyed sunset in the hot tub. It’s just right for a long weekend getaway to relax and unwind!

Our stay in this home was such a treat! We enjoyed utilizing the kayaks to boat around in Chesapeake Bay. The hot tub was an absolute delight, perfect for evening stargazing, saw lots of shooting stars, and could see the water of the bay from the hot tub. We also enjoyed doing November cold plunges from the hot tub to the pool. While the living room is not expansive, it fit our needs for family game & movie nights. The bed linens were so comfortable, and Lori was beautifully responsive & friendly when we would reach out with a question. We also enjoyed the nearby Sandy beaches.

Really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back. Airbnb was central and just a stone throw to the beach. We had a toddler and it was very safe and comfortable. We brought a travel crib but they did have one actually in the closet for us which was excellent, coffee was great also. Went for dinner at the Willoughby fish house which was 5 minutes away and really enjoyed it! I absolutely recommend this stay and I imagine we will book again.

Everything was wonderful, easy to get in, and our host John was very helpful and friendly. Hotub was clean no trash in the yards felt just like home. comfortable beds the walkway to the beach was very private enjoyed that as well. Overall our stay was amazing and would love to be able to stay there again. We had so much fun <3 provided us with some detergent to wash clothes I thought that was thoughtful.

This is a really nice getaway that is peaceful and serene. The home is older, but has some nice updates. I am one that appreciates a home with character. It is in a secluded area, so at night its gets really dark in the hot tub area which we made good use of. Waking up to views of the lake was my favorite part of the day. I was sad when the sun started to go down. There are neighbors, but the houses aren't very close to each other. It is located in a small town so there aren't many food options. The restaurant we went to wasn't very good, so I'd highly recommend cooking for your stay or bringing food. That's what we did. We cooked our meals and grilled. It was fantastic. Four of us stayed there comfortably. Two couples. Overall we had a nice 3 days and I'd highly recommend.

Richard was absolutely amazing and was so quick to respond when our trip changed and we were getting there a little bit earlier! We will definitely be coming back next year! The house stayed cold the beds were very comfortable and watching the sunset at the dock was by far my favorite thing!

Roger’s beach house was charming. It was an older-style home with many modern updates. Quick and easy walking path to the beach. The pool in the backyard was lovely. It was a little dirty upon arriving and Roger came right over and got it all cleaned up for us during our stay. The neighborhood was a little rough we did have a few uncomfortable encounters with homeless people being two girls alone it was a little unsettling. Overall, I would definitely come back again. The weather was absolutely beautiful for our stay.

There is nothing more serene than waking up in the ‘crab shack’ with the sunrise. What a comfortable and scenic spot. Even our dog, Juno, loved it! Took a sunset sail to celebrate a birthday and got front pier service! Our host, Carlisle, was extremely attentive and kind with any needs we had or hadn’t thought of. Wish we had booked longer. We hope to return very soon!!

This place was perfect for what we were looking for! We will certainly be booking again when we come back.

We loved our stay at this amazing cottage! it felt like home, with every amenity possible and the walk to the awesome beach to the calm waters with beautiful sunrises, and dolphins passing by was awesome! My parents and I stayed here for four days. It was the perfect peaceful getaway for us. The place was really cute, two bedrooms with queen size beds, a large bathroom, and the cutest kitchen-living room area. Gloucester is a sweet town to hang out in, and the host gave some great recommendations for local places to check out. Wonderful place, we will be coming back!!

I truly wish I could put into words just how beautiful and peaceful this home and property were. It is truly a place that was so inviting and well maintained it made me miss the eastern shore of Virginia and start looking at properties in the area. The land is so cool to walk and explore and the bay at this home is just serene. To be able to wake up and see the view this home has is just spectacular. Matt is spot on with the description of his home and you truly can't find one thing wrong with this home or the property surrounding it and having a dog,it is so key with the wash station outside because our lab puppy could not get enough of the bay or going out in the kayaks with us. I truly wish they had more stars to rate this home. Thank you for being so gracious and allowing us to visit your spectacular home!

I cannot find the words to express our families stay. When I say this was the best stay at an ABNB we have had thus far it was. The outside itself from the landscaping to the scenery was breathtaking. Checking in was a breeze. Once inside pictures cannot begin to show the beauty of this property. The hosts have really thought through a guest experience. They went over and beyond hosts duties adding extreme attention to details. Anything and everything you may need or want for your stay was there. Even with all the extra amenities and the beauty of the home our family instantly felt at home. We loved our stay so much we have already booked our next stay.

Beautiful home, next to a peaceful nature preserve. Thoughtful touches throughout the home to make your stay easier. Such a great retreat for our family and only about 15-20 minutes from 64, the Colliseum area!

I stayed two nights at Cornelia's place with my sister and niece. The cottage is lovely and is exactly as described. We really appreciated the elevated amenities - luxurious bath towels, loads of cozy blankets, basket of snacks and provided coffee, shampoo, soaps, etc. The porch is a wonderful place to enjoy coffee in the morning as the sun comes up. Cornelia is very responsive and helpful and was quick to assist us in resolving a little issue we had with the door lock. One very minor thing to note (which didn't bother me, as I always come prepared with a travel white noise machine) is the very thin wall between the television and the bedroom. If someone in your party likes to stay up late watching tv, you might want to consider ear plugs or a white noise machine of your own. Overall a wonderful place to stay!

We loved staying at this beautiful and peaceful house! The house cozy and we felt right at home! It even snowed when we stayed in Delaville! The sunset was gorgeous and it even more amazing with a layer of snow! Would definitely love to come visit again in the summer! Thanks for a lovely weekend!

The house was everything we needed and more. And Irvington in October is absolutely amazing. We had a wonderful weekend and really appreciated Suzanne’s responsiveness and hospitality - we will be back!

Our first visit to Cape Charles and we loved it. K’s house is in a lovely residential area, but very close to shops and restaurants and a 10 minute walk to a beautiful beach area. The house is simple but comfortable and has everything you need (no high chair or pack & play, but we brought our own). We loved sitting on the porch.

Great little cottage in Mathews County. Right along the Mathews Marathon race course, which came in handy! Well kept and would recommend to friends. Thanks!

Absolutely beautiful spot to stay at. Had a really enjoyable time, was very peaceful and relaxing. The house also had a very home like feel to it, and had plenty of supplies already there. Chuck was very helpful with any questions and also provided information on nearby places to eat and buy supplies. Definitely recommend if you want a nice, quiet place to stay for a bit that is out of the way and private.
