In my calendar the address came over correct. What the Airbnb email sent was a different incorrect address a full block down the street. Unfortunately I gave the wrong address (provided by AIRBNB) to the group showing up first. They had to hunt for the property based on a picture. Host seems to be unaware of conflicting addresses after bringing it to their attention

The issues we encountered with check in was due to internet down (not the hosts fault, it was statewide) so the code wasn't automatically reset. Cameron responded and got us in with a different code.

We enjoyed our stay at Mammy’s Memories. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The school house and church were a special treat..

This place was everything we expected and more!!!! The view, the river, the peace and quiet cannot be overstated. This place is truly an escape from the city. Our family met up here from all over. Print out and study your maps! We got lost but ended up getting help from a kind neighbor and had quite an adventure.

The name says it all- it is a crooked house! It was nice that it felt like someone’s real home rather than your typical cheaply and hastily done air bnb. It’s not the fanciest place in the world, but was very comfortable for our stay. We could walk to lots of things to do in Davis and our dog enjoyed the small fenced in area. We would definitely stay here again!

Our group of 5 had a great stay at Johnny's. The house was very clean and neat and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There is lots to do in the area and good restaurants close by. We would love to stay again some day!

I stayed in Hanna's place with my two young kids, husband, and in-laws and we all had a fantastic time. The house is so charming, with great outdoor space. It's in a perfect location to walk to downtown Thomas and to easily reach Davis and other nearby attractions. The house was well-stocked and Hanna was so communicative and helpful. I've already recommended to others.

Friends and family members rented several cabins at Black Bear for a wonderful weekend! Joan’s description warns that AWD is needed at this time of year—and it is. 🤪. Maintenance at Black Bear was extremely responsive when one of our group had difficulty getting out of the resort due to snow/ice. Nice to have the covered back porch to take off snowy wet clothes/boots.

My wife and I needed a trip away from the city for the long holiday weekend where we could enjoy some good activity in peaceful surroundings with our dog. This cozy pedestal cabin in Black Bear Resort was just what we were looking for. Check in was easy by picking up the keys at the resort lodge. The place had everything we needed to a cook a couple nights for ourselves, including the gas grill on the deck. The wall-mounted 4K flatscreen TV with Roku let us relax after three active days out and about in Canaan Valley while we listened to the thunderstorms roll over the mountains each evening. This would certainly be a fine place for folks (especially with kids -- there were two sets of bunk beds in the loft) to use a base for their WV adventures any time of year!

Great place super close to Timberline, Canaan Valley and Whitegrass. Home is clean and comfortable, with a well appointed kitchen and lots of games and entertainment for bad weather.

Very comfortable stay in any weather! Got to see the stars and the Milky Way with the naked eye at night right from the deck! Directions made it super easy to find as well.

Beautiful views of the mountains from the condo and the hot tub. Well-designed living space.

We really enjoyed staying at this Air BnB, especially since we were permitted to have a dog there. We enjoyed how close it is to Canaan Valley Ski Resort, Blackwater Falls State Park and Davis, WV. The beds were comfortable and accommodations were as expected.

Darien’s place was perfect!! It was perfectly clean and beautiful. The house was very private and a beautiful place to stay. The host was very friendly and helpful for anything we needed. The stay was amazing!!

We had a wonderful stay. The power went out on the mountain one evening and Emily was available to answer any questions and keep me apprised of the situation. She was a generous and considerate host.

We only stayed for 1 night but everything was very nice and we felt comfortable 👍🏼

Jessica always responded promptly to any messages. The quarters were cozy, the pillows soft, and overall very peaceful. It was neat and clean on arrival. It was as it should have been. I would stay there again. Actually, I should say, I WILL stay there again.

We had such a great time getting out of the city and staying a Kara’s place. The cabin was spacious and had everything we needed.

As someone who had a studio Ghibli themed bedroom in highschool I absolutely loved the little collection of memorabilia sprinkled through the house it was a warm and cozy stay with a local super market not even a mile up the road. the time spent there was unforgettable as someone who hasn't been to West Virginia this beautiful cabin was nuzzled perfectly in the mountain range with just enough around to have access to amenities and nature in a perfect equilibrium.

Great cabin to relax and unwind. There was plenty of pots, pans and other supplies stocked. There was plenty of toys for our daughter who loved the trucks and doll house. Located near dolly sods with great hiking and not far from Davis, Thomas, and black water falls. The porch swing was a great addition to the beautiful and larger deck.

We loved our stay at Charlotte’s Web! It sits right beside the Canaan Valley Nat’l Refuge and is within a 5 min drive to Timberline Mountain. We also enjoyed hikes at Blackwater Falls, dinner and coffee in Davis, and had plenty of places to grab items we needed for meals. We felt cozy in the space, and so did our dog Roxie! The hot tub was an added treat. We hope to stay again in the not so distant future!
