Der Aufenthalt erfolgte recht spontan, die Kommunikation war immer freundlich, erfolgte zeitnah, der Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend in einem sehr schönen Teil Madeiras, am besten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Alles war sauber und der beheizte Pool ein echter Pluspunkt. Insgesamt waren wir mit dem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden.

Fantastic Villa! Absolutely amazing view, perfect for watching sun set. Great amount of space. You would need a car to get around as it's a bit far from things and hard to walk up the hill. Well stocked kitchen but frying pans are very scratched, I hope they replace them soon. Great communication from the host. We wished we could stay longer!

We stayed over Christmas and loved how peaceful the house was to recharge. The kitchen was fully stocked with every gadget we would ever need. We used the kitchen every night and the kids enjoyed the pool. The clouds didn’t cooperate most evenings, but one morning I woke extra early to a clear sky of a million stars.

Beautiful house in great location for exploring west side of the island. Check in is a little complicated because they have to meet you there and with travel sometimes it is hard to know exactly what time you can be there. Pool is very nice but please note they cannot heat it at all so we weren’t able to swim. It would be great in the summer though.

This was the perfect place for our family of 5. The kids had a wonderful time in the pool (age between 9-14) that we got heated up. The pool is shallow at one end and deep in the other. Walk over the road and you have the beach. It is full of rocks so not for swimming, but we spend so much time playing there. It is in a central place in the Island without to many tourists. There are restaurants in walking distance and supermarket 10 min in car away. We felt so welcome by arrival with bananas and cake. Everything was so clean. It was the perfect place place for our holiday, and we will come back.

Villa Valhalla oli erittäin hyvä ja meille mainiosti sopiva majoitus (6 aikuista ja yksi teini-ikäinen lapsi). Majoitus oli siisti, hyvin varusteltu ja kaikki toimi erinomaisesti. Uima-allas oli oikein hyvä, sopivan syvä ja puhdas. Erityisesti monet istuskeluryhmät ulkona, eri parvekkeilla toimivat todella hyvin. Kommunikointi majoittajan kanssa toimi mainiosti ja saimme ihanan loman Madeiralla. Erityisen mukavaa oli leipomo/kahvila lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä, josta sai hakea aamupala sämpylät.

Perfect location! The villa is clean, quiet, and well equipped. The pool was such a treat and the views of the ocean are spectacular. The walk into town is only about 20 minutes. The walk back up is steep but doable with young children. The neighborhood is also lovely. It was a great place to stay as a family. We loved our time here and would absolutely book again.

A beautiful place, peaceful and with stunning views. The host Jun pays attention to the details when it comes to the amenities which makes all the difference. It was a perfect, restful stay, would highly recommend.

Sehr geräumiges Haus mit vielen Kommunikationsorten für 3 Ehepaare: 3 gleichwertige Schlafzimmer (2 x Bad ensuite, 1 x Bad nebenan), große und gut ausgestattete Küche mit Theke und Hockern, großer Esstisch und 2 Ecksofas im Wohnzimmer. Gutes W-LAN im ganzen Haus. Parkmöglichkeit für mehrere Autos direkt am Haus. Ruhige Südost Lage mit Meerblick, ca. 300 m Meereshöhe. Sehr gute und schnelle Kommunikation per Chat-Gruppe (alle Reisenden waren immer gleich informiert) - alle Fragen und Probleme wurden umgehend gelöst. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden. Kleinigkeiten hätten noch besser sein können: Kaffeemaschine mit Plastikkaspseln ist nicht umweltfreundlich, kein Trockner, Aussenbereich ist für 6 Personen etwas beengt und es gibt nur 4 Stühle. Zur Lage: ist etwas abseits (12 Minuten mit Auto zur Via-Rapida). Zwei kleine Supermärkte, Bäckerei und Bar/Restaurant sind mit dem Auto in 2 min gut zu erreichen (zu Fuß allerdings 120 Höhenmeter und anstrengende 15 Minuten)

What an amazing 5* villa! We absolutely loved staying here. Everything about it was just wonderful - architect designed house, incredible view, super comfortable beds and great kitchen facilities. Plus easy parking in the garage underneath. Also Rita who met us there was so friendly and helpful. We would definitely like to return one day!

The property easily lives up to the description and the pictures. The houses are fully equipped, very nicely decorated and comfortable. The swimming pools offer stunning unobstructed views of the ocean during the day and of the sky at night. There are no road noises, the place is truly calm. Grocery stores are a few minutes away by car, as are restaurants. Numerous hikes can be found in the region. The host is very reactive and will provide many recommandations related to restaurants and activities. Renting both houses to two families is a great way to spend time together while also having some privacy. I would go back there without any hesitation.

Der zweiwöchige Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Nach der ersten Woche wurde eine Grundreinigung durchgeführt. Bei Problemen hat sie schnell regiert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder!

We stayed at Patricia’s villa for 9 days and had a great time. The view overlooking the ocean with the infinity pool was beautiful! We loved waking up to this gorgeous view each morning. It was also a plus that we had the use of house cleaners that came during our stay to make the place extra tidy after we stayed halfway through! All the balcony’s outside connected and lead directly to the downstairs pool. There’s also a “secret” access to the bottom of the cliff which was very cool! Everything was perfect! All in, I’d give this a 5 star stay, everyone was extremely happy and we would definitely stay again in the future! Thank you for hosting us

Die Unterkunft ist top! Sehr schöne Location direkt am Meer und nahe am Flughafen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber hätte aber besser sein können. Dennoch können wir die Villa uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Magnificent Villa. Stunning views of the sea. Quiet and peaceful. Safe and private neighbourhood. Would recommend renting a car to get to other towns outside of Madalena de Sol. Roads are grand to drive especially if you are used to Irish roads. Would highly recommend Madeira.

Die Betreuung durch Jorge war präzise und gut. Die Betreuung vor Ort durch Rita und ihrem Mann waren exzellent, sehr hilfsbereit und sehr zufriedenstellend. Die Unterkunft ist sehr empfehlenswert.

A beautiful house with stunning views, well equipped with plenty of space for everyone. Clive always responded quickly to any requests. The property is within 30mins of Funchal and perfect position to go and explore the coastline and mountains of Madeira Would thoroughly reccomend !

Wir haben die Villa von Jan für eine Woche gemietet und Jan als zuvorkommenden und tollen Vermieter kennengelernt. Das Haus entsprach ganz und gar unseren Wünschen und Vorstellungen und war wie auf dem Inserat beschrieben. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt - ausser einer Kaffeemaschine mit Kapselsystem. Aber auch die ist mittlerweile vorhanden ;-) Die Villa war sehr sauber samt allen Zimmern und Bädern war sehr sauber. Wir haben es sehr geschätzt, hatte jeder ein eigenes Bad und zwei der drei Schlafzimmer sogar Pool- und Meerblick. Die Küche ist riesig und hat uns so viel Freude bereitet, dass wir die ganze Woche nie ausgegangen sind zum Essen. Ein weiteres Highlight ist natürlich der Pool und die Lounge mit Meersicht wie der Grill (BBQ). Für uns als sehr aktive Sportler war die Waschmaschine genial; so konnten wir jeden Abend nach unseren sportlichen Aktivitäten waschen und mussten nicht so viel Kleidung von zuhause mitnehmen. Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn; es war einfach GENIAL. Thank you Jan

A beautiful villa, with stunning views of the local area and out to sea. The villa is incredibly spacious, well designed and has all of the facilities necessary for a perfect stay! We made full use of the pool and outside barbecue. The villa is perfectly situated for exploring the island. We hired a car to enable us to travel, though there are bus stops and a good local taxi service very close to the villa. We used the local shops and bars for food, as well as the supermarket and beachside restaurants in Calheta, which were only a ten minute drive away. All questions prior to and during our stay, were speedily responded to, by our hosts. A fantastic family holiday location!

Great house on the hill in Calheta, which we were very happy to choose over staying in Funchal. Great restaurants and grocery stores less than 10 min walk. Beautiful views. Highly recommend!
