My husband and I loved this little cabin. It was the perfect getaway between our adventures on the Ice Age Trail. Very peaceful. Each night we saw a herd of 15 deer grazing in the pasture outside the window. We also saw pheasants several times.

This home was incredibly peaceful and exactly as described in the Airbnb listing. I loved the proximity to the Twin Cities, yet we felt like we were in another land with how quiet and accommodating the location was for a weekend gathering. The house is well stocked, especially the kitchen, and extremely cozy. The river view was just spectacular, and the east facing home meant stunning sunrises. The bald eagles were out in great numbers and our bonfire by the river was truly magical. We loved exploring the small towns on both the MN and WI side of the river and felt like we were going home at the end of a day of exploring. We were lucky to have a gorgeous sunny Saturday, but this home would be gorgeous in any weather with all the natural light. The host is very responsive and she made our family gathering with my adult children one of my treasured memories this year. I would not hesitate to make Frontenac a vacation destination and this home is truly a rare gem among the many options.

Our group was celebrating my sister’s bachelorette weekend, and we could not have picked a better place or host. The place was perfect for our group and Linda has thought of everything. A beautiful place to stay! We loved the view of the lake and how close it was to restaurants. We always look for places with a good table to play games with 8-10 people and this was perfect for us. Eric & Sandy were very attentive and mindful of what we may need. Hoping to stay here again sometime in the future!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided all the information we needed for a smooth check-in and comfortable stay. The property itself was even more beautiful than the pictures, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could have wanted. We especially loved the stunning view. The place truly exceeded our expectations, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

Cute cottage was a perfect weekend getaway. Cute town that was walkable from the cottage.

My group of friends and I booked our spring getaway here and loved how secluded the location of the main house is. Also super cool to drive into the High Valley Ranch. So nice to be able to just grab a kayak and go for a paddle too.

We loved our stay here. The location by the river and farm is pristine. Andy went out of his way to make sure our kiddo got to ride the pony. Great coffee shop a short drive away (Nolstagic Bean). We hope to come back!

This was our 4th annual winter getaway to the cabin. We always enjoys the serenity of the cozy cabin and it's lake front views, which makes it perfect for ice fishing. After a day on the ice, we warm up in the sauna or by the fire, work on puzzles and enjoy home cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen.
