Mooi gelegen appartement. Zeer schoon en verzorgd. Nette badkamer en keuken, prettig bed. Kevin was zeer correct en toegankelijk in de communicatie. Daarnaast flexibel wat betreft aankomst- en vertrektijd. Wij vonden Santa-Maria veel te toeristisch en massaal en zouden er absoluut niet terugkeren, maar dat is natuurlijk slechts een persoonlijke voorkeur. Het appartement is in ieder geval een aanrader.

We had an unforgettable stay at Mr. Koen’s villa at Melia Tortuga Beach. He went above and beyond to make everything easy and smooth for us, including putting us in touch with Mr. Silvino, a fantastic local taxi driver who picked us up at the airport and was always just a message away. He and his nephew really made our trip with great tips and insights about the island. The villa itself is simply stunning. Right in front of the beach with a breathtaking sea view. It’s spacious, well equipped, and the private pool is a real highlight. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and ending the day with a dip in the pool was an absolute dream. This place is an incredible spot with excellent VfM, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. We’re leaving in just an hour, and we’re already talking about coming back. Thank you, Mr. Koen, for everything! P.S. Please consider tipping local workers. The minimum wage in Cabo Verde is only 13,000 CVE/month (~120€), and tips make a big difference.

Manuel ist ein ausgezeichneter Gastgeber, er hat uns beim Hafen abgeholt und hat sogar Extrarunden mit seinem Auto gemacht um uns gute Tipps zu geben bezüglich Restaurants etc. Die Tipps haben sich als sehr hilfreich herausgestellt - danke Manuel! Wir dürfen vor dem Check -in Zeitpunkt unser Gepäck deponieren, was sehr hilfreich war. Die Wohnung ist zweckmässig und gut ausgestattet und wir haben die Stadt gut zu Fuss entdecken können von der Wohnung aus. Tolle Lage, nahe zum Strand und dem Zentrum. Können wir sehr empfehlen!

Já tinha estado em Santa Maria e esta experiência conseguiu ser melhor. A casa é igual às imagens mas não estava preocupada com este ponto porque queria mais aproveitar a cidade. A localização é das melhores, em frente à praia e a três minutos do centro. Lugar super seguro, andei sempre de madrugada e até sozinha e nunca me senti insegura. Ao mesmo tempo é um sítio sosssegado e um ambiente familiar. Adorei tudo e aconselho muito! Voltarei em breve!

One of the best views ever. And the sound of the ocean right out the front door is so peaceful. A 2 minute walk to a restaurant. Or a 3 minute walk. Or a 4 minute walk. Or a string of restaurants during your 30 minute walk. I could easily spend more time on the upper veranda, watching the waves come in. My wife slept upstairs in a comfortable bed while I slept downstairs in one of another pair of comfortable beds. I chose downstairs because I have a bad knee and I found the stairs to the upper bedroom problematic. Other than that “No Problem.” The local maid provided what we asked for and Luis remotely answered every question promptly. Done deal, thanks Luis. It was an affordable long weekend.

Amazing! If you don’t stay here, you are missing out on a fantastic experience. Chris and Mona are incredible. such kind, generous and welcoming people. The meals they served us were so fresh and tasty, there are also lots of fun activities like snorkelling and fishing available here. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back again! Thank you Chris and Mona for everything.

Sehr schöne Meersicht, gross und hell. Wir waren als Paar da, wenn mehrere Parteien sich die Wohnung teilen, kann es wohl recht ringhörig werden. Als wir ankamen, war die Wasserpumpe defekt und wir hatten zwei Tage kein fließendes Wasser. Ines und Rui haben das aber zeitnah geregelt und die gute Nachricht für alle nach uns: Jetzt ist eine neue Wasserpumpe verbaut und es sollte kein Problem mehr auftauchen. Wir mochten auch Santa Maria sehr und haben uns prima erholt. Gerne wieder mal, auch in dieser Wohnung.

Our favorite by far of four apartments used during three weeks on two islands (Sal and Boa Vista). We felt at home right away and stayed six nights. We could have happily spent the whole three weeks there. It was spacious, with two bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen with some basics like salt, pepper and coffee and a homey living room. The giant veranda had a dream view of the beach, ocean and dazzling sunsets, plus a sitting group with a couch and two chairs and a picnic table with four chairs. Perfect location on the beach while just a few minutes from shops and restaurants. Spotlessly clean. We were amazed that it could stay so cool without air-conditioning, a triumph of design and construction. All this was topped off by our very helpful host Eka and her friendly, tail-wagging co-host, Nike the dog. Highly recommended and our first choice for next time.

I had a fantastic stay at Nina’s apartment in Santa Maria! The location is perfect. The apartment itself was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. You can tell Nina really cares about her guests – communication was smooth, she was super helpful with local tips, and made check-in a breeze. If you're heading to Sal and want the ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Cape Verde, Nina’s place is it. I’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Très bon séjour dans ce air Bnb, l’appartement était parfaitement bien situé pour visiter l’île. Je recommande, résidence sécurisée avec quelqu’un à la réception qui nous a montré l’appartement. L’appartement est propre, climatisé et très bien pour ce type de séjour. Aux alentours, vous pourrez réserver (même avant votre voyage) un guide sur get your guide , il y a aussi la visite en vélo électrique qui complète bien nous sommes passés dans des sentiers qui ne sont pas accessibles en voiture. Vraiment très bon séjour, je vous encourage à prendre ce airbnb plutôt qu’un hôtel pour bien s’imprégner de la vie local. Par contre attention aux arnaqueurs qui se font passer pour des CapVerdiens et vous mentent pour vous emmener à leur stand. Dommage cela donne une mauvaise image. Vous verrez qu’en allant dans les quartiers moins touristiques vous découvrirez les vrais CapVerdiens.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment with a beautiful location right by the beach. The veranda was a real highlight, offering a great view of the lush garden, the pool, and the sea. We truly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it. Nina was a fantastic host – very welcoming and easy to communicate with.

A fabulous apartment, small complex with pool and direct beach access - just as described. Peter was a great host - met us on arrival and gave lots of helpful local tips. The apartment was spotless, very comfy bed, and had everything we needed for our stay. Really recommend it and Santa Maria is beautiful! Thank you 🤩

Fabuleux. Maison très agréable, Vue magnifique, la piscine est splendide et la plage privée au pied de la maison est absolument merveilleuse - à 10 mn à pieds de la plage du village - très sympathique avec ses petits bars- et 15 mn de la plage sauvage sublime de preta - l’accueil est très bien géré - L’équipe nous a aidés à prendre les billets de ferry - un lieu idéal pour se reposer dans la douceur de l’île de Maio.

Die Kommunikation mit Rachael verlief reibungslos. sie kam uns auch bei Anliegen sehr entgegen und kümmerte sich um unsere Anliegen sehr schnell. Das Appartment ist gleich am Strand und Kaffee, mit einrm mini Shop war such gleich um die Ecke. Fpr 1 Woche waren 2 Rolken WC Papier etwas zu knapp,aber ich weiss nicht, wenn wir gefragt jätten, ob wir noch 2 Rollen bekommen hätten. ansonsten sehr gemütlich, wir würden wieder hier herkommen. danke

Tack Marie-Anne för att vi fick bo i din fina lägenhet! Vi är mycket nöjda med resan och gillade att bo lite utanför Santa Maria. Det är lätt att hitta taxi och ta sig in för att njuta av någon restaurang eller för lite shopping. Vi gillade de fina poolområdena som finns på resorten och framförallt den som var lite lugnare. Stranden är vacker och vattnet kristallklart. Vi tyckte mycket om att bada vid "Bikini Beach" och insåg att detta var den ända platsen som hade två pirer och som gjorde havet lugnare här. Vi joggade längst stranden både in till Santa Maria men även bort mot golfbanan, det var perfekt för vår morgonjogg. Vi var glada att inte ha "all inklusive" eftersom vi tycker bättre om att välja olika restauranger varje lunch och middag och valde att åka in till Santa Maria några kvällar. Ska man äta runt resorten så tyckte vi mest om Bikini Beach Restaurant. Detta var första gången vi var på Kap Verde, men vi kommer garanterat tillbaka igen!

Liliana is a very heartwarming host, quick to respond to your questions and helpfull in aiding your trip around Saõ Vicente. Couldn’t have wished for more. About the appartment. It is located right on the sea board. A beautiful and tranquil place to enjoy the ocean, read a book and at night you have an amazong view of the stars. There’s a garden with a lot of shade and place to relax. Right next door there’s a small turtle sanctuary and you can make a roundtrip by foot around the vulcano. So enough to do for everyone. Inside the appartment is very clean, tidy en cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, wir würden sofort wieder da wohnen. Loreano war sehr freundlich & hilfsbereit. Die Kommunikation war top. Herzlichen Dank für alles!

Luis was responsive and a great host. He managed our transport from airport to accommodation. The place was really good for that price. Spacious and clean flat.

Wir waren 2 Wochen in der großen Wohnung, 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Die Wohnung ist sehr groß, und die zusätzliche Gemeinschaftsterrasse ein absolutes Highlight. Die Wohnung ist landestypisch einfach ausgestattet, die Ausstattung der Küche ist ausbaufähig. Alles war blitzsauber, die Betten sind hervorragend. Paulino und seine Familie wohnen im Haus, sind alle sehr nett und hilfreich. Für uns war es die perfekte Unterkunft, vielen Dank!

The apartment is lovely, just like in the pictures, location is perfect and Stefan, the local contact always very helpful. We had a very nice stay. Just one comment: considering that we are a family travelling with three kids we would have loved that the access to the washing machine wasn't restricted.
