You can sample, dine and enjoy to your heart's delight and then wander a few steps to your home away from home. This is the perfect weekend getaway for intimate or larger gatherings. This 1500 square foot space sleeps 6-8 comfortably, with a spacious living area great for socializing, and a walk-in shower complete with stocked BEER FRIDGE!!

We offer amenities such as coffee, an electric grill, 36” black stone griddle, deck, patio, fire pit and more. This 4 bedroom 2 bath home provides one of the most beautiful views in Wheeler County!

Five very large bedrooms , 2 handicap accessible bathrooms, seating for 24 people! Kitchen comes fully furnished with all the items you should need to make those family meals! Within walking distance to River, Park, Swimming Pool, Downtown Burwell and about 7 miles to Calamus Lake! Minimum age to rent our cabins is 28 years old. Must provide a photo ID for proof of age.

This 2 bedroom, 1 bath western themed home is ready to welcome you with warmth. The Cowboy Getaway is a rustic, yet modern home with a sofa table workspace, usb plugs, locally roasted coffee, well-stocked kitchen and bathroom, & incredibly comfortable mattresses for a fabulous night's sleep. With wifi, Roku on the TV, books, playing cards & more, you're able to choose how you relax after a long day of traveling, a day at the Calamus, or a rainy day of vacation. Our goal is that you are blessed!

The Nest

The Nest is an upstairs mini apartment in a building on a working bison ranch. The decor is birds, flowers, nature. The windows look out over the pastures. The bathroom features a shower and small clothes washer. The kitchenette area includes hot drink dispenser, microwave, toaster oven, and mini fridge. A cot and portable crib are available on request. Breakfast snacks and coffee are included in the room rate. Covid concerns: you will be the only occupants in the building overnight.

The River House

Come explore the great outdoors when you stay at the river house and enjoy the quiet as you look over the South Loup River Valley. There is river access for all kinds of water fun from tubing, fishing, kayaking, and swimming. You can enjoy evening sunsets out on the covered front porch or setup your telescope for some amazing star gazing with no light pollution. The fiber optic connection makes it easy to use your smart devices for entertainment or setup a mobile office to work remotely.

Cedar Creek Cabin

Outdoor enthusiasts, friends, and families, we invite you to enjoy your next Sandhills trip with a stay at the Cedar Creek Cabin. Our two bedroom, one bath, cabin sleeps eight. Located on a large lot to accommodate outdoor activities, including a fire pit. The park, Nebraska's Big Rodeo, and the town square (where there several dining options) are all within walking distance. The area's main attraction Calamus Reservoir is a short 7 mile drive, offering fun for the entire family.

Feel right at home at this spotless, stylish getaway nestled in the beautiful sandhills of Nebraska! You'll love this quiet neighborhood and location, which is one block off the town square! Just a hop, skip, and a jump to the local coffee house, grocery store, eateries, bars, and shops! The Calamus Reservoir is only a short, beautiful 10 minute drive! Grace’s Attic on the Square is located in the Historic Downtown Square in Ord, Nebraska. This 2-bedroom sleeps 7 with Murphy Bed and couch. Includes indoor fireplace, full kitchen, washer and dryer. It is walking distance to the local staples, Carl’s Tavern and Scratchtown Brewery. Less than 30 minutes drive to local attractions such as Calamus Reservoir, Sherman Lake, Fort Hartsuff State Historical Park and Davis Creek Reservoir.

Little House on the Prairie

The Little House on the Prairie is nestled in the heart of the Nebraska Sandhills. We are a mere ten minutes from the Calamus River and Calamus Lake (west end) which offers tanking, tubing, boating, and fishing. This is a birders paradise! Bald eagles, prairie chickens, and a plethora of other species to observe will be waiting out your window. Star-gazers will find our night skies free of light pollution. Nature awaits!

Rustic Retreat Tiny house

The Rustic Retreat Tiny House is the perfect setting for a family, hunters, fishermen, anniversaries, friends retreats, honeymooners, etc.. Brand new in August 2018, we can sleep up to 6. Located near the beautiful Calamus Lake, the Burwell Rodeo and Historic Fort Hartsuff. Local restaurants and bars are within walking distance as well as a grocery store.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This entire home is just 30 minutes from Calamus Reservoir. If you’re feeling adventurous, this AirBnB is centrally located between 3 Nebraska breweries.
