Shanty's villa was everything we wanted for our 3 night group stay. The view was beautiful, the breakfasts delicious and the one night we had a chef cook us dinner for 8 people (organised with Shanty) was spectacular! We also organised with Shanty, drivers to take us into Ubud and massages at the villa and both were done promptly.

we are so happy we choose to stay at Villa Celagi for our time in ubud. we would have stayed longer but it was already booked for the days we wanted. which im not surprised because the place, the hosts and the surroundings were absolutely stunning!! The two hosts Niels and Freja (and their daughter Joy) are such lovely people and were very helpful with making our stay extra comfortable. highly recommend staying here!!

An amazing stay at this beautiful villa in Ubud! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease. The villa is incredibly private, offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere. It’s immaculately clean, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. It truly felt like staying in a hotel, with daily cleaning and fresh towels provided. The villa is private, clean, and safe, offering a peaceful retreat. The staff went above and beyond, arranging airport pick-up for us and offering laundry service at an affordable price. Every morning, they provided a delicious breakfast with spectacular views of the rice fields. The staff provided exceptional service, always available to meet any request while ensuring privacy. I felt completely safe throughout my stay. If you’re looking for a tranquil, well-serviced retreat in Ubud, this is the perfect place! Highly recommend!

It was a wonderful place and the views were indescribable. I would recommend it to everyone who asks me about it. The host was wonderful and very helpful.

Such a unique experience! We were so happy we took the chance to book Wayan’s place - it really is one of a kind. We were just in awe of it. It’s funny, we realised how much we are disconnected from nature in our everyday lives and staying here surrounded by wildlife was so special. Wayan as a host is super proactive in his communication and helped us to arrange massages, food delivery and a scooter. He checked in daily to ask if we needed anything and was happy to clean upon request. At check out, he was very kind and flexible with us - he and his team go above and beyond to provide a wonderful experience. The mineral pool was refreshing and it just felt like no other place we’ve ever stayed before. 10/10. For people not used to staying somewhere so immersed in nature, I’d say 1 or 2 nights is ideal. You will undoubtedly see lots of insects - we had a very curious Praying Mantis pop up onto the bathtub while we were in it, which scared me at first but was actually quite funny! Thanks

A quiet and peaceful place far away from the hectic Bali. An incredible and breathtaking view on the jungle. On top of that, a very reactive and responsive team fully dedicated to provide the best service to their guest.

Wij zijn anderhalve maand geweest met als doel te werken in een rustige, mooie omgeving. Dat is heel goed geslaagd. De villa ligt prachtig, rustig en afgelegen, direct aan het strand en met een heel fijne en mooi onderhouden tuin en zwembad. De wifi was ook uitstekend voor dit doel. Hoewel het huis wat verouderd is en de (keuken)inrichting vrij basic, hebben we ons er goed thuisgevoeld. De bedden zijn goed en er waren nieuwe banken. Er is een grote tv. De staf is vriendelijk en zorgt dagelijks voor de basis schoonmaak en mooie bloemen (Kadek), de tuin (Komang) en nacht security (Riris). Ngurah, de villamanager, spreekt goed engels en is bereikbaar voor vragen en als er onderhoud nodig is (bv stroom en warm water). We konden met hem uitstapjes maken en wekelijks naar Singaraja voor boodschappen in goed ingerichte supermarkten (Artesedana had veel verse producten waardoor we lekker zelf konden koken) en op de markt. Lopend dichtbij warungs (bezorgen ook) en voor kleine boodschappen.

Widok na dżunglę zapiera dech. Świetne miejsce do relaksu po trudach zwiedzania. Duże, przestronne pokoje. Wygodna część wspólna. Duży basen. Przy padającym deszczu trzeba uważać na śliskie płytki i trudne zejście do dwóch sypialni, które znajdują się pod basenem. Polecamy śniadania i kolacje oraz masaże. Willa znajduje się 5 km od centrum, dojazd samochodem zajmujemy czasami 40 minut, skuter jest dużo szybszy. W pobliżu znajdują się dobre restauracje.

Wat een paradijs! Prachtige tropische tuin. Brandschoon, rust, geweldige verzorging door Made. Ze heeft heerlijk voor ons gekookt en Ketut verzorgde de tuin. Mooiste verblijf ooit op Bali en Made was werkelijk geweldig! Voor ons hemel op aarde en we wilden niet meer weg!
