Apartment in Winona - Treetops Suite is a great getaway in a little college town. There is a spacious main room and open area kitchenette (hot plate, toaster oven, microwave, sink, mini-fridge) and the two bedrooms (one ?full-size? bed and then two twins) are cozy - not tight or cramped. The apartment was clean and quiet. They had some food (milk, eggs, bagels, oranges, PeanutButter, jam) stocked in the fridge. The step-in shower has very hot water that is not difficult to adjust to a warm setting. The apartment is located just off the Winona State University campus and the first night we stayed we walked downtown for dinner. The stairs to the place are moderately steep - as the hosts mention in the write-up. This is not an issue (and adds to the ambience) unless you have some mobility challenges. There are railings on both sides. Thanks. This would be my preferred spot to stay if I was passing through Winona again.

Highly recommended! This is the ONLY place we stay when in Winona. The units are clean, tastefully decorated, in a great location, and reasonably priced. We have stayed in three different units and all have exceeded our expectations. Adam communicates well and has a convenient check-in and check-out process. We have recommended this location to family/friends and they have had positive experiences as well.

We had a girls weekend in Winona and had a blast! The apartment was amazing, we felt right at home. It is within walking distance to some great restaurants, River Valley Wellness Spa, and cute shops. We are looking forward to making this an annual event!

We had the most wonderful anniversary getaway at Hattie’s Place! Nestled in the quiet charm of Rollingstone, this spot was the perfect escape. The town itself is peaceful and picturesque—a hidden gem that feels like a true retreat from the hustle and bustle. Debra thought of absolutely everything when decorating and stocking Hattie’s Place. From the cozy, thoughtfully curated decor to the fully equipped kitchen and little extras throughout the home, it was clear she put great care into making sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. What made the experience even better was Debra’s communication. She was incredibly responsive and offered personalized recommendations that made our visit feel all the more special. We would highly recommend Hattie’s Place to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway—and we would definitely stay again!

We recently had the pleasure of staying overnight at Third Street Suites and we couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a spotless environment. The entryway was clean and welcoming, and our apartment was immaculate — fresh linens, gleaming bathroom fixtures, and not a speck of dust in sight. Even the hallways and common areas were well-kept and fresh-smelling. The apartment was tastefully decorated with modern, cozy furnishings that made it feel more like a retreat than just a place to sleep. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with high-quality bedding, and there was a cozy seating area that made it easy to relax or catch up on work. Everything felt thoughtfully selected. Communication with Adam, the owner, was excellent. We would highly recommend Third Street Suites to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay.

We booked for a little romantic weekend getaway and Adam’s place was perfect. Location was fabulous- we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted including the grocery store. The Airbnb felt homey and comfortable and had everything needed if we were staying for longer. Very clean and well stocked. Adam gave great instructions for parking and entering the unit- found it no problem after dark. Would definitely recommend and return.

Charming quiet well equipped home with great view and plenty of parking. No disappointments. Host is a great communicator . Highly recommend.

We were very comfortable in this home. Right off of the Great River Road, this was an ideal base to explore cute towns and hiking trails nearby and return for quiet, peaceful evenings with gorgeous river view and working wood stove. Cozy! Agree with other guests that we couldn’t tell it is a dog friendly rental, but our two labs were happy there and loved watching the birdlife outside!

Everything as expected. Nice quiet neighborhood. Lots of natural light in the home made for a pleasant stay.

This was our second stay at Driftless. We’ll be back! Quaint home with many extra amenities. Great hostess. Pets allowed. Good location; we took several walks to river park and Zesto’s, both just a few blocks away!

Kaitlyn was very responsive to the issue with the toilet plumbing. she had a plumber out there on Friday night after hours and again on Saturday to fix the issue. we finally had a working toilet. With having 8 women in the house this was definitely a pain, but she kept in touch with me as to what was going on. the beds were so comfortable!!!! She was a super host and we would stay there again!

Melissa’s house was a great place to decompress. We took full advantage of the board games and relaxing atmosphere, and loved being able to walk a few blocks to get ice cream and enjoy the surroundings.

We’ve stayed here multiple times. It’s always clean. We will be back again.

Jill & Julia were very communicative and cordial with me. Overall the stay was great and was exactly what my group needed for the weekend. Surrounding area was beautiful, and the stars at night were amazing! Very close to downtown Winona and all of the activities my group had planned. We will definitely be renting with raspberry rentals again in the future!

We really enjoyed morning coffee on the back deck overlooking the valley. It was a quiet moment that helped make our trip relaxing. Local restaurants are enjoyable, but are a short drive away. We came here to "get away" and we did. I would stay here again.
