The accommodation is beautiful—just like the photos. It offers a stunning view of the lake. We had an amazing time and enjoyed a truly Canadian experience by staying in a cottage surrounded by nature, where we could simply relax and take it all in. The kitchen is fully equipped, kayaks are available for use, and the TV includes streaming services. Harison and Connie were wonderful hosts—always proactive and kind. They even provided us with bed linens, knowing we were coming from Brazil. We felt genuinely welcomed.

We had an amazing stay! It was our second time staying and everything was perfect. It’s a cozy cottage with an at-home feel. Set the pilot light in the gas fireplace for us and let me know in advance, and offered to come pick up chairs after a windstorm the night before our stay. Very lovely host with a very speedy response time and a wonderful property!

Magnifique séjour au chalet Skipping Rock, il porte bien son nom! Mon conjoint a tenté de battre des records de rebonds sur l'eau avec les galets de la plage super tranquille, intime et magnifique. Le chalet était très bien, dog friendly et avait toutes les commodités nécessaires. Les instructions d'arrivée et de départ était très claires, et les hôtes très conviviaux! Nous recommandons!

We had a lovely stay - the cottage and surrounding area was so beautiful and peaceful! The cottage was super comfortable and clean, and fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. Rene and Karin were very kind and responsive as hosts and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The location is lovely - about 25 minutes from Tobermory, so close enough to visit but in a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood steps away from the Georgian Bay and the Bruce Trail. Such a magical place, would absolutely love to return one day :)

This a fabulous place to stay. It is so beautifully curated so that even though it is not a large space the hosts have included everything you need. There is a very, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, games,a great entertainment system, and its steps from the beach. If you like to walk you can easily access trails as well as the main strip. Fabulous! Thank you!

This was our second year at Carrie and Dan's cottage and once again my family and I had a fantastic time. The house is perfectly situated on the river with a nice beach and it has all of the amenities needed. Dan communicated regularly and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. This is a beautiful property which anyone would have fun at.

We had a fabulous time. The beds were comfortable and clean. The binder with extra information was clear and easy to follow. We will book again if we are staying in the area again. Thank you, Tom for sharing your place with us.

We loved Michele’s house. It was clean and user friendly with everything we needed. We were a little surprised with one full bath and 2 half baths, but this turned out to be a non-event for us. We had a very flexible schedule and used the primary bath for showers. So no issue. The views, the deck and the seating by the lake were amazing. We enjoyed those both morning and evening. Sunsets were very special Michele was very responsive for questions and gave us exact instructions for entering the house. We were in a well maintained, well loved home and would definitely rent from her again, if in the area. Thank you Michele

We had an amazing time at Peter’s place. The area was extremely beautiful and the cottage was very well kept and clean. We are extremely gracious of Peter letting us use his place, as well as being extremely accommodating and would love to return in the near future.

I would highly recommend this place if you are a fan of hot tubs and wish to see the lake while doing this. As a true fan of hot tub, I have tried many different kinds of stay. The scenery in this place is one of the best, especially if you like the vibe of being in the forest and lake. The only inconvenience is that you have to bring your towels and bedsheets (bring some laundry detergent if you plan to stay a longer time). Maybe you will see a very peaceful and cute cat (not sure if it is a stray cat) strolling around the house! The cat will greet you kindly, so please be kind to it!

We had a wonderful time, the house was beautiful and clean, the surroundings are amazing, the house had everything our families needed.

We stayed in this place for 5 days, during the fall weather. Elizabeth is very well organized. Cabin is very comfy, home has good heating and good insulation. BEAUTIFUL SCENERY!!! Just like the pictures , able to use fire pit, kiyaks , BBQ and deck. Reason why it’s difficult to reserve. 🍁❤️ If I could speak to my past self. I would recommend bringing water socks for boating. (if you don’t have any , otherwise you’d be getting your shoes SOAKED ) Thank you for a beautiful stay !!

Will definitely be back, Steve was so flexible with check-in and check-out. We had the place all to ourselves, it felt so good disconnecting from the city and the world. See you in Summer, Steve! Thank you for your hospitality! Your cabin is awesome!

worthful stay enjoyable

The house is big. Plenty of rooms for a group of 8. Very kid friendly, our kids loved the foosball table and kayaking and we learned to play Clue, lots of books and board games. There is a long dock you can sit on and enjoy the lake view. Plenty of coffee making machines, although the coffee maker made lukewarm coffee, the microwave solved that problem. Everything is about 30 mins away, so we brought breakfast food and lunch food to make, and really enjoyed going to Tobermory for dinners. If you have an achy back, the main bedroom bed is not for you. It was fine last year but this year I just couldn’t manage it. This is fine since there are 3 more beds to choose from. Our family really enjoyed our second visit here. It honestly feels like a second home.

We had a relaxing holiday at Tushar's amazing cottage! The cottage is newer and clean with a private access to the water. After a long drive to the cottage, it was simple to gain access while both Tushar and his co-hosts were quick to respond to our questions. The cottage has all of the amenities we were looking for along with the surprise of an EV charging outlet, which then made it so much easier for us to recharge our car while we recharged on the deck!

We had a wonderful stay at Zeshan's place! The house was amazing — everything was working perfectly, it was clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, making our nights very restful. The view was absolutely stunning and made our time there even more special. We were also able to go hiking in the area and enjoyed canoeing on the nearby lake. The goat is very friendly and responsive and made us feel very welcome It was a perfect getaway, and we would definitely love to come back!

Magnifique endroit! Hôte très sympathique et très réactive. Décor sublime, maison magnifique! Paysage juste incroyable avec l’eau cristalline juste wow ! L’eau potable était salée et imbuvable pour nous, ce qui est possible avec un puit. Nous avons acheté de l’eau en bouteille et c’était parfait! Laurie est d’une gentillesse et d’une réactivité hors pair ! Je recommande cet endroit !

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Huron cottage in Mac's Shacks, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The facilities were in excellent condition, clean, and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was prompt and responsive in their communication, making the check-in and check-out process seamless and providing helpful information throughout our stay. The lake was stunning, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking to enjoy a tranquil getaway in Bruce Peninsula.

The home was spacious and comfortable. The added amenities were so wonderful and it was fully stocked with towels and shampoo/ conditioner as well as body wash. All the beds were great and each person from our family slept great. The kids loved the play room and shooting hoops. The views were scenic and stunning. Soaking in the hot tub while overlooking the lake and seeing sailboats in the distance was very peaceful. What a great find. The host Marisa was kind, thoughtful and even left us some goodies! We would highly recommend this rental location to anyone.

Beautiful place and breathtaking sunrise! Diego welcomed us very well! He gave a nice tour of the house. He is a great host, very friendly and accommodating. He was excellent responsive and easy communicator. Incredible lakefront deck and patio. The water was so beautiful! The sound of the waves was very relaxing! Stunning view! My family and I enjoyed swimming! We had to be extra careful getting in and getting out of the water because of the slippery rocks. Good water shoes is must. The stars were so bright and beautiful at night🤩 and the Sunrise was breathtaking! Everything was available in the house. The beds were comfortable. My kids loved all the collection of the books and DVDs. Great movies. Loved how the upper floor was set up for kids. Had an amazing long weekend getaway! Half hour away from blue mountain.

Abbey’s place was beautiful, scenic, there were lots of things to do, indoors and outdoors, regardless of weather, and it was in a great location! This cottage was a home-away-from-home and we would recommend to it anyone! Abbey responds in a timely fashion to any questions you may have and she is very friendly and kind. It was also convenient that there were 2 washrooms and our son loved the sandbox with a multitude of toys, especially trucks! Not many places have the same types of amenities so this was a rare find indeed!
