When we first stumbled upon this Cottage on AirBnB, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Mandy is the most thoughtful, gracious host. She provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The Cottage is just perfect! Location is incredible and it is our new go to long weekend break in the New Forest. Mandy had excellent restaurant and walk recommendations and was of great help. She went way beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable. Thanks Mandy for a wonderful weekend! We will be back, Russ & Michelle

Great place for a large family gathering Plenty of space and very well equipped with enough for 8 easily We had a very relaxing time

The house was our home for a few days celebrating a 70th birthday. The glorious weather helped but the garden spaces with toys and sports equipment provided was great for young and old. Add in the hot tub, bbq and the ample fire pit for the cool evenings and everyone was happy. The house was spacious for 15 of us, with everything provided to cook up a storm and a games room offering a bit of friendly competition when it was needed. We had a great time.

Lovely big house, slept 8 adults easily. Great views, fab location to walk the South Downs. Everything you needed. Maybe less clutter/ family photos around the house would have been nicer but some liked the homely touch. Overall excellent. Many thanks, Louise

I can't thank Carolyn enough, after finding out I was surprising my 12 year old son to a birthday getaway birthdays banners and signs plus sweets etc all put out for when we arrived! above and beyond for us. Carolyn was very responsive, informative and so kind. wonderful localaton, amenities etc. caravan was like home to home, well equipped and very clean. thank you again! highly recommend! 5🌟😁

This was a beautiful home and we immediately felt at home. The host has thought of everything that you may need while staying here. Excellent attention to detail. The views from the house are wonderful and made us relax from the get go. Very close to lots of lovely places to visit. We especially loved the horses and donkeys visiting us outside. Great place to stay , in walking distance of cowes. Lovely clean house plenty of space for four adults and one small dog. Nice enclosed secure garden . Parking permit was easy to confirm at no cost . Would definitely stay here again

Really lovely cottage, very spacious, clean, comfy beds, nice garden and kitchen was very well stocked. Corfe Castle is a pretty village with lots of walks and easy access to Corfe Common. We were blessed with super weather, really enjoyed our stay.

Located close to where we have family living which was ideal for us. Lovely and quiet and has a saved parking space for the vehicle Our dog was welcomed to the property. It’s close to shops and takeaway outlets, although the kitchen is perfectly satisfactory for cooking in. Lots of lovely touches in the property such as provision of tea, coffee, milk and sugar as well as shampoo, soap shower gel in the bathroom. Very friendly hosts who were available if required.

A well equipped flat in a great location for exploring the new forest. Communication was clear and helpful.

It is great place to stay with your friends or family. The house is located very close to the train station, bus stop and not very far from the beach yet in a quiet neighbourhood.

The property is up to 20 min walk from the rail station, 4 min walk to the nearest grocery store and lots of bars and restaurants, up to 10 min walk to the beach. Peaceful, quiet, and overall nice surroundings. The property itself is very spacious, large kitchen, two toilets and a shower. The living room is massive, with two large sofas, work desk and a spacious balcony overlooking the park, also a view of a church by the side of it. The bedroom is a large en-suite room with lots of storage and a vanity corner. I must highlight that i have not slept on a better mattress, ever. The property has a washing machine and washing powder. In the shower room I also had access to a variety of shower gels and shampoos. The kitchen comes with pretty much anything you may need, even if you decide to bake! The check-in was super smooth, I was greeted on the main road and shown inside. Absolutely superb 3 night solo stay and I will definitely be returning! Highly recommend! 10/10

This is such a fantastic place to stay. Richard goes above and beyond to ensure his guests feel welcome and are comfortable. The apartment was spotlessly clean and has everything needed for our visit. The location of the accommodation is perfect for access to the beach, local shops and the bus route to the surrounding areas.

My favorite and my dog's place to stay, when we are visiting the Watercress line. My dog loves the vast enclosed garden and the peaceful location.

Jonathon’s place is a very quirky, light, interesting, comfortable, all facilities you need and amazing views of the harbour. The location is excellent for exploring the island and being right next to the chain ferry to Cowes makes a very easy day day out of no driving to explore the shops, restaurants and enjoy the views of the harbour and shipping channel… Jonathon and Rebecca were amazing hosts and always responded quickly if you needed to ask the a question. The early check-in was very much appreciated. We will definitely be back…

Each summer a U.K. FAMILY holiday is planned for three generations ..ages 5 up to well quite a lot! The choice this year was to go to Simons place.and what a find for everyone. A characterful house. Inside spacious spotless , kitchen brilliant ,, bedrooms roomy , bathroom ( particularly first floor) fabulous, living room so homely with Simons personal collection of books, his piano, homeliness beyond, and with cable Tv Incorporating Sports channels , and Netflix and Prime Video . Outside the decking in the rear garden a wonderful morning sun trap , the front garden full of charm with BBQ facilities and two squirrels nicknamed Bill and Bob..there every morning … The location very peaceful , parking at front and rear of property . Local shops , and the beach within easy 5-10 minutes walk and buses same time away into Bournemouth Poole and Christchurch . A wonderful seven days

The perfect spot for our family get together to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Spacious, thoughtfully appointed rooms, each with an en-suite. Lots of cosy spaces to gather. Amazingly stocked kitchen. We had a fantastic time

We had a great stay, even in January, and the house was perfect for us (6 adults, a 4-year old, 2 dogs) The house was warm and spacious with lots of kids toys and extremely well equipped. The hot tub in the garden is a lovely addition, despite high winds meaning we couldn’t always use it! It’s well located near Cowes and its amenities, amidst other houses but on a quiet road, with great views because it’s on a hill and very near the sea, though not a beach as such. We would certainly return if we can.

The folly is a beautiful and magical place with great character. We spent a couple nights there over New Year’s Eve and it was perfect. Check in was flexible and very easy. The location is very peaceful and the garden and surroundings beautiful. Great pub with excellent food a few minutes drive down the road. We hope to be back in the summer.

Excellent house for large family. All the rooms ensuite. Large dining table and spacious lounge with large wall TV. The children loved what we called ' the secret room' on the top floor and the table football. Good location. The house is located on a bend in the road so exiting the parking spaces needs care and direction. We would definitely recommend this property and use it again in the future. Jan and family.

We spent a fabulous Easter weekend at Driftwood Cottage. Catharine was an excellent host and was extremely easy to deal with. The house is spacious, modern, and very well equipped. The use of the kayaks was a bonus we hadn’t really considered beforehand but turned out to be a real highlight. The location is amazing. Right next to the ferry terminal but you wouldn’t know it when you’re at the house. The views up the creek at stunning. Highly recommended.

Lovely family home in the heart of the new forest. Was perfect for a pre Christmas getaway with lovely fireplace and warm Arga in the kitchen. Ian and team were very accommodating and it was lovely to have our two cocker spaniels with us to enjoy long daily walks in the forest. Will definitely be back again
