We loved our stay at Kerry's Cottages! Beautiful outdoor area surrounded by Autumn leaves. The cottage was very comfortable and was close to lots of great walks. Looking forward to coming back !

Had a wonderful stay at Foundry Cottage. Really loved the backyard where we spent a good bit of time just relaxing and reading. The outside area was perfect for a BBQ on the final evening and the location was great for a short walk into the Main Street to access the fabulous local restaurants and cafes. Anthony was very proactive in communication and provide some options to explore as well as guidance for charging spots for our EV. The bread and milk, combined with some breakfast options was also a homely warm touch that made settling in easier. We will be booking again for our next trip to Rutherglen.

We loved our New Year's break at the Captain's Cottage. Jamie and Linda are great hosts who, after providing some excellent recommendations for things to do in the area in advance and making us feel welcome when checking in, respected our privacy throughout our stay. They were particularly patient with our dog, who also took a shine to them, and was fond of visiting them without an invitation! The cottage itself was clean, cosy and lived up to the other excellent reviews. Jamie and Linda had thought of everything: from the quaint nautical themed decor to the complimentary breakfast supplies and port. Highlights for us were the hot tub, the views of sunset from the veranda, and saying hello to the horses in the neighbouring paddock. Our only regrets by the end of our visit were that we didn't find time to use the pool and that we didn't stay for longer!

It’s as described, can’t be happier about the place. It has everything you need for a family trip. Spa is really amazing.

We visited Beechworth to attend the paranormal investigations tour at the Asylum. The cottage is 3 mins drive from the pub (where we had a great feed) and about 5 from the asylum. Don’t trust Apple Maps, the cottage is ‘just’ out of town. The home is beautiful, and the linen is the softest you’ll find. The water is HOT so if you’re going to spa, only run the hot to the jets then change to cold. Highlight: the duckies walking through the back lawn as we relaxed outside with a drink.

Very quiet stay in a quiet part of the country - exactly what we were after! The accommodation is a little dated but very clean and has a beautiful outlook over a billabong. Anne and Maurie were very welcoming and we enjoyed our brief stay a lot. Thanks

Amazing Cottage & amenities for a romantic time away. Fantastic & private rural location amongst the Trees & adjacent to the river. An easy 30 minute stroll into town. Has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing trip away. Linda (Host) was a pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend.

We had the pleasure of staying at Orchard Cottage just after Easter 2025. The weather was perfect and so was our temporary home and beautiful surrounding countryside. Jamie and Linda had provided eggs, bacon and bread for our first breakfast and the kitchen was stocked with butter, coffee, tea cereal and a carafe of port on the table too. The beds were firm and comfortable with deep plush doonas – plenty of extra blankets in the cupboard if required – but with aircon and the wood burner no need. The fire was already made up and ready to go. We really enjoyed playing in the backgarden and visiting the chickens. Took a few dips in the pool - very chilly (it was late April). Lots to do in Beechworth (but was very busy being Easter), Yackandandah was a bit more chilled. Would love to come back

We had a fabulous time staying at Susan’s house. The bonus for us was the fire pit out in the back yard, fond memories were made cooking and laughing around the fire. The house is perfectly positioned, it is private yet close to everything. The house was spotless and had a lovely warm charm which made relaxing easy. Don’t hesitate just book this little gem, you won’t be disappointed.

What superb accommodation in every way! The spotless presentation, beautiful and high quality amenities, attention to detail evident in so many different aspects of the offering, and the delightful setting all contributed to a first class experience at Arnica Cottage. Our two dogs were equally impressed - we’re sure 😜 - and enjoyed the large back garden and spacious verandah also provided with this lovely property. Emma was courteous and caring in her correspondence too and the provision of some delicious cookies and locally produced olive oil as gifts on arrival an extra treat! We loved our stay in Harrietville which has heaps to offer and would happily recommend this stunning, cosy, attractive cottage as somewhere absolutely perfect to stay!

Amazing central location. Nice view from the back porch. Cosy fireplace and well equipped kitchen. Spacious and perfect for our family configuration and the pooch. Thank you.

Cate’s cottage is absolutely gorgeous! Set on a beautiful property on the banks of the Murray River and yet only a short drive to Corowa, it is a true rural retreat. Cate was so friendly and very easy to communicate with during the booking process. The cottage itself is well equipped and clean and very comfortable. Exactly as presented in the photos on the booking site. We loved sitting on the deck in the morning enjoying our coffee while various birds flitted around in the trees and paddocks close by. And in the evenings, while sipping on a glass of wine, we were serenaded by a beautiful chorus of birdsong. We enjoyed the lovely walks along the banks of the river and my dog just loved chasing sticks and playing in the water! Then of course, was the fun of the open fire and toasted marshmallows… really took me back to childhood adventures. 🙂 We will definitely be returning. 🧡

Our stay was wonderful! As soon as we entered little Olive we felt right at home. Immaculately presented & styled to perfection, the fire kept the cottage cosy, bed was super comfy, lovely cafes close by- what a little gem! Victoria & Leanne were easy to communicate with & instructions were clear & easy to follow. If you are looking to stay in Albury I highly recommend ‘little olive’.

It was the best place to stay to end our road trip from Sydney, just wish we had of stayed on the way up as well. Fiona was so lovely & up for a chat. She was also patient with my kids & showing them the goats & of course belly rubs for Finn. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast items & sitting with a cuppa watching the sun rise over the mountains was magical. We will be back for sure! Thanks again Fiona, Chris, Finn, Boots & Storm 🩷

Crabapple Cottage was a lovely little cottage in a peaceful location with beautiful surroundings. It was well presented & well equipped for our stay. We love the location so it suited us perfectly for what we wanted to do as well as a place we could just relax & feel at home. David was a wonderful host & checked in on us to make sure everything was ok & always communicated well throughout our stay. He made sure you felt welcomed & at home during your stay. I would definitely recommend Crabapple Cottage.

I stayed at the Sawmill Cottage for 4 nights with my small dog and it was the perfect place for a relaxing peaceful break. The cottage is beautifully designed, very quirky and cosy, with everything we needed. It was lovely sitting on the patio in the large back garden, with sheep on one side and chickens on the other. A great space for my dog, who was in heaven exploring outside. The cottage is a great base from which to explore the area and also not far to walk into Yakandandah. Just be cautious as there is no pathway on the road. I would definitely recommend staying at the Sawmill cottage and would love to return for another visit.

We enjoyed very much our stay at the 3BlackSHEDS. The accommodation is very neat and clean; the bed is cosy; and the place is peaceful. On top of these, Alan and Rowena got everything well prepared for a comfortable holiday away from home, yet just like at our own home. We love the food and beverages they supplied for breakfast: fresh, nutritious and delicious. The communication with them is also great, too, as Alan alway responded promptly and provided the supplies, answers and information we needed. All these reflected that Alan and Rowena are the caring and thoughtful host who made our holiday extra enjoyable.

This was our second Stay. We loved the unique historic connection. The House is filled with Period items; including Artwork, furnishings and documented stories to read about the history of the House and Township of Chiltern. The attention to detail showed how passionate and proud Merv and Tracey are of their beloved Home and not to mention the stunning surrounding Garden. Merv and Tracey - many thanks for your Hospitality. ps: There are a few secrets that I will not share - that greeted us on arrival . . . . . shhhhhhh not telling).

Really enjoyed my stay. The house was clean and had all the amenities I required. It was centrally located and I will definitely book again next time I am in town.

We loved our stay . Great place ...beautiful gardens.. Had everything we needed .Highlight was Ash ( the border collie) . He/ she is adorable . Wanted to take him/ her home with us ! Looking forward to staying again. : )

We loved our stay at the cottage. Ideal for a weekend escape. The place had everything we needed and just a short drive from Beechworth. Beautifully kept property. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was wonderful. The views of the surrounding valley and mountains especially at sunrise and sunset are stunning. The accommodation is exceptionally well maintained and presented and very comfortable and quiet. If you want to getaway and do nothing, this is the place. (Although we used it as a base to go gravel bike riding in Moyhu and Whitfield). Phil was the perfect balance of ‘there and/or available’ without being in any way intrusive. Spacious bathroom and bedroom. The kitchen has all the utensils you need. Bar size fridge and freezer is fine for 1-3 days but you may be tight on space for a longer stay.

Treetops was the perfect home away from home for us and our dogs. The location is superb and the surrounds were just wonderful. Shay was a great host and had everything we needed for our stay ready and set up. The yard is very big and great for our dogs. It isn’t fully secure though but we knew that already and it wasn’t a problem for us.

a lovely stay at the cottage! The place was quiet and peaceful — slept well because the bed was incredibly comfy. The location is perfect too, right in the town but just far enough from the busy streets to feel calm and cozy. The hot shower was amazing after a long day! My only little regret is not getting a chance to say a proper hello to you and your two pups. 🐶 Thank you for creating beautiful space :) Great spot for the weekend
