My family had a great holiday. The house is immaculate, clean, comfortable and a home away from home. Leisure isle a great place for a family holiday and having a winter holiday in this house was an absolute pleasure, a cosy fire place and a well furnished house. We will hopefully come back again. From booking to checkout Doug and Carla were great hosts. Doug accommodated a late check-in, helped us register with security to access Thesen Island, and took us to the property for a walk-through. The home was spotless, incredibly spacious, and had every utility and modcon you need. A pleasant surprise was the addition of a pool between booking and arrival. The outside space and boat deck make for the ultimate Knysna vacation spent on the water. The restaurants and bars of Thesen Harbour Town are a 5 min walk. We will be back. Thank You!

we had such a lovely stay at Samantha’s place. pictures truly don’t do justice to what the house actually looks like. it’s incredibly stunning, the area is so tranquil & private and her space feels like a home away from home. additionally, Sam was such an amazing host, communicated well throughout, answered any questions we had with urgency & ensured our check-in was as seamless as possible. thank you so much, Sam! :)

We spent 4 nights as a family of 4. The property is exquisite and has all the luxury amenities. The views are breathtaking! The house is massive but feels cosy and homely. The hosts are friendly, helpful and accommodating. I’ve now found my new favourite place to stay in Knysna!

We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, well decorated, and had everything we needed. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the location was perfect - peaceful yet close enough to everything. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed the 3th time at the Cliff house. The house has an amazing view on the oceaan and the Heads. Its a wonderfull place to enjoy your family time

We loved our stay at C25 The Island, Knysna Quays. It is a gorgeous home and so comfortable and homely. It is so beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and has everything you could need for a home away from home. We wished we could stay longer! Heather is a warm and engaging host - quick to respond and so happy to help with anything you need. Heather loves Knysna and is eager to share it with her guests. Our check-in was handled by her lovely daughter Jenna - which was quick and easy. We will definitely be back - it was everything we had hoped for and more.

Absolutely 5 star accommodation and surroundings. Wendy and James (and the dogs) gave us a warm welcome and directed us to the best restaurants in Wilderness as well as recommendations for walking trails. Definitely top of our list for a return trip. Shame we couldn't have stayed longer. The view is spectacular overlooking Island lake and the sea. The private balcony is perfect for a morning coffee and spotting birds. Keep an eye out for the Knysna Turaco (Loerie). The pool is perfect for cooling off after a long hike.

This house is incredible. Much bigger than it looks in the pictures and the views are amazing. It was perfect for me and my 4 colleagues on our business trip to Knysna!

Cathy’s place is lovely and was exactly what we needed for our short stay. The views are beautiful and the location is great for getting around Wilderness. Cathy was very welcoming and attentive. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Cathy!

A perfect location and a beautiful home. Nothing was too much for Tracy, who went out of her way to find a mattress topper for my pregnant daughter in law

We boekten erg laat, een dag tevoren. Doordat de eigenaar/host onderweg bleek kon die niet snel reageren en duurde het tot de volgende dag ca. 14 uur eer we wisten of de boeking akkoord was. Toen ontbrak nog een gedetailleerde route beschrijving en het huis ligt afgelegen, goed verscholen. Dat is ook de charme, maar zonder juiste plek is het lastig zoeken. Bij aankomst was de housekeeper nog druk bezig en konden we pas tegen 17 uur er in trekken. Maar het huis is erg mooi, groot en heeft een prachtige veranda die uitzicht biedt op de lagune van Knysna. Erg rustig, wel een eindje rijden vanaf het centrum van Knysna, maar je kunt niet alles tegelijk hebben. We hebben genoten en de stroeve start was snel vergeten. Kleine tip voor de host... een filterhouder voor de koffie of een klein simpel machientje doet wonderen.

Our stay of one night was too short to be able to appreciate Kim's place fully, but we will certainly be back to make more of it! The location overlooking the lake and sea is magnificent, and the patio calls out to be used for meals, reading a book or birdwatching. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen homely and well-appointed. Communication was easy, and when I got lost on google maps instead of having used the available directions, Kim was superquick and clear in putting me into the right direction. Checkin was flexible and simple, checkout as well. In a word - wonderful! Thank you so much!

Wonderful Stay with a Stunning View! We had an amazing stay at Silvia’s Cottage! The view is absolutely breathtaking, the neighborhood is peaceful, and the apartment was spotless, lovingly decorated and very clean. Silvia welcomed us warmly and gave us a lovely farewell. She was also very quick and helpful in communication. The area is simply beautiful, and we can easily imagine coming back here again. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful 6-day stay at this beautiful and well-equipped home in Brenton-on-Lake. The house is in a quiet and peaceful area, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Everything you need for a comfortable holiday is provided. One of the highlights was sitting outside and seeing the bushbucks wandering past—it was truly magical! Communication with Jacques was effortless; he was helpful and responsive throughout. It was an absolute pleasure staying here, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat.

Lovely spacious house with good views. All on one level except the living room and very well equipped. Excellent communication from Elmo with lots of local suggestions. Small problem with hot water dealt with very quickly and efficiently. Very comfortable accommodation that we would definitely revisit.

We absolutely loved our two-day stay in brenton-on-sea and wish we could have stayed longer! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The house has such a welcoming and relaxing feel. It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we could possibly need (and more!). Anabella was great as well! She was super friendly, quick to respond, and made everything seamless from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend this place! My family and I are already talking about coming back

We had a great time in Brenton on Sea. The house had all the required amenities for a self catering stay and it had lots of space and private bedrooms for a family with 2 teenagers. The Fisherman's walk was beautiful and we could walk safely stroll to the beach. Will definitely recommend!

What an amazing place you have Cally! Thank you for allowing us into your lovely home in Knysna. Situated on Thesen Island, the home is ideally located- close to all amenities. One thing to note is that if you plan to visit in winter, the house is rather cold. Cally was very helpful in switching on the under floor heating, which- after a little while warmed up the place nicely!

A little patch of heaven. Very well equipped kitchen for indoor & outdoor cooking. Lovely beds - good mattresses and beautiful linen. Gorgeous cabin for the 6 of us - just great having a little private beach and use of a canoe. The Loerie and Hoopoe visited us. Alison was very helpful in every way. We would love to come back one day.

We had a lovely stay at Inga’s Sedgefield Beach house. The location is amazing, walking distance to the beach and it’s such a beautiful area. Inga was a great host😊 We ended up staying an extra night because we loved it so much. We enjoyed the upstairs balcony and the garden in the back. Peaceful and loved hearing the waves at night. Will definitely be going back. The home also has all amenities you could need. Loved it! And so much to do in the area.

Felt quickly at home in this spacious, comfortable house. Great spot to relax and enjoy exploring Leisure Isle. Lovely quiet street with abundant bird life. Would definitely stay here again.
