Beautiful apartment stay in converted barn - located in small village with local Co-op shop only a 2 minute walk away, this was a perfect base for visiting the Lake District, lots of sights and great food within driving distance. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to return for another stay!

Great location just outside of grasmere - always a plus if you can set off on your walk from the doorstep

We had a lovely couple of nights here. The accommodation is spotless and comfortable. The garden was gorgeous. Our hosts were lovely, the right level of friendly and discreet. I have already recommended this property to friends and family and genuinely mean it when I say, I'll be back!

High comfort apartment with everything you need. Best location for exploring the lakes with plenty of amenities all in very close walking distance. Would highly recommend.

Very comfortable stay in a beautiful house. Located about 15-20 minutes drive from Windermere. Riverside, scenic views, walking distance to Lakeland transport museum. Very spacious living room and a comfortable sofa bed in living room. Basic essential provided in kitchen and the host also provided some milk, butter, bread, tea and coffee as welcome pack. (It would have been nice to have salt and pepper but ofcourse it is optional/good to have). Strongly recommend this beautiful flat.

This house was just unbelievable and more in so many ways. The location (just stunning, the views, the peacefulness, even the little stream behind the house leading to the big fields!), the cleanliness of the house was IMMACULATE. I have ocd and I am very much of a clean person, and to walk into this house and see the pristine layout, the minimalism, the perfectionism of this home, was just so heart warming and worth every penny. The host made sure to send us every possible update we needed, they also provided us with a digital guide book with sooo much information from recommended restaurants, walks, all clear instructions for everything in the house and many more additional facilities they offer. The only minor downside I have to comment on is that it got very cold sometimes in the house due to the heating. The heating is set on a timer to go on a few times a day, and during the times it was off, it was super cold as it was cold outside. That is the only downside to this perfect home

Amazing stay for a 30th family celebration. The sun was shining so we spent most our time at the house on the terrace! Perfect location with the surrounding scenery. We had a slight issue with the hot tub room, due to previous guests. But this was quickly resolved! Can’t fault the hosts or the house. Would definitely love to return for another celebration in the future one day! Thanks again

This is an incredible, beautiful, peaceful location with lovely walks on the River Wyre just a ten minute stroll down the lane. The property is immaculate, beautifully maintained and in a picturesque location. There are restaurants a short drive away, and the renowned Booths supermarket in the Lancashire market town of Garstang is an easy 3 miles drive from the property. Lancaster, with its great selection of independent shops and compelling history, is just 7 miles away. With easy access to the M6, what more can I say? Highly recommended!!

Lovely cottage in a perfectly idyllic setting tucked away 5 mins from all amenities in Ambleside. Very clean and well equipped and Catherine was very easy to deal with. Would be happy to return.

A group of 8 of us stayed over the May bank holiday weekend. The property exceeded all expectations. It was extremely spacious with a lot of outdoor space and amazing views. The house was well equipped with everything you could think of. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, with walkable distance to Ambleside and easy to find.

Absolutely beautiful place with stunning views from all windows. Really comfortable. There are many hill walks accessible starting from the house. The only sounds we heard were sheep and the birds singing.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse in the Lake District. The place was immaculately tidy, with a very well-catered kitchen that had everything we needed—perfect for cooking up a proper Easter Sunday roast, which we were lucky enough to enjoy outside in the garden thanks to some glorious spring sunshine. The wood burner made the evenings extra cosy, and the peaceful, beautiful surroundings made for a truly relaxing break. Diana was excellent—friendly, helpful, and very responsive. highly recommended!

We stayed at Swallow's Loft, in the beautiful village of Far Sawrey, for 3 nights. We absolutely loved the area and Louise's place is ideally situated. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and cosy and Louise provided everything we could need. Louise was very friendly and messaged a few times to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Sams place was even better than the photos show! The location is stunning and Claughton Hall and the servants quarters were perfect for a lovely weekend getaway. Sam was really attentive when messaged and responded really quickly to any questions we had. Overall, I would recommend this a premium place for anyone wanting a break to just relax and recharge.

My wife and I have just returned from a lovely weekend at Julie's place. We had a wonderful break and we would not hesitate to return. The apartment was spotless and suprisingly spacious. The views are amazing too!! Julie was also a warm, kind and welcoming host. All in all a fantastic stay.

We stayed at the Buttermere cottage 6th - 9th April 2025 with our puppy. The cottage was lovely, homely and had all the amenities needed. We ate in throughout our stay and had all the basics needed. The cottage was clean, tidy and had beautiful grounds, only a 5 minute walk to the Esthwaite Lake. My only negative was no sugar with the tea and coffee provided, but that’s my problem - I need to grow up and cut the sugar lol. Being serious, we had a gorgeous time. I would definitely recommend staying here, especially with your four legged friends.

The accommodation was absolutely perfect (& even exceeded the description, which in itself was delightful). Absolutely spotless accommodation, well equipped with outstanding views of the surroundings Cumbrian Fells. Ideally located for access to Keswick Town Centre and environs. Our hosts (Ashley and Steve) were extremely attentive and friendly; and we are excited at the prospect of staying again at their lovely accommodation. Plenty of parking available & clear instructions on directions to the property. Thank you so much for a memorable stay.

This was one of the best air BnBs we have ever stayed in... I don't know where to begin! The welcome guide was the most helpful and informative I have ever seen and made finding the property extremely easy. The place was furnished with beautiful furniture and the accomodation was clean and spacious. It also had absolutely everything that you could possibly need which made our stay super comfortable, including really generous things like coffee pods, shampoo and conditioner and tablets for the dishwasher and washing machine! The location was perfect for us with our two young children - we were able to visit lots of the beautiful lake district around us very easily! Craig was extremely helpful and communicative during our stay and I would absolutely recommend this place! We will definitely be coming back! :)
