The stay with Samantha was great! As the hostess, she was very nice and always responded quickly and kindly to our messages in advance. We also really liked the room. It was cosy (especially the bed!), clean and we had everything we needed. She also provided tea and coffee and a kettle in the room. There was crockery and a small fridge in the hallway. The accommodation is located in a quiet residential area and the city centre is about a 10-minute walk away. Overall, a clear recommendation! :)

Thank you Lucy! Really lovely spot - just as the photos show with large bathroom and bedroom and separate seating area with sofa and table (which could accommodate 4 of us). Great atmosphere and vibe and there’s a pretty vintage caravan to view from the windows, not to mention the pottery! Ideal location being walking distance to town but quiet. I’d definitely recommend.

The guest house was perfect for our needs. It’s close to the centre of Wimborne, the rooms were clean and there were thoughtful touches - plenty of toiletries, tea, coffee, water etc left both in the room and in a central location if more were needed. Charles was attentive and polite host.

I had a wonderful experience staying with my host and her husband, Jim. Jim is such a kind and thoughtful man, on my first day at work, he generously gave me a lift to my workplace, which made a world of difference. We had some great conversations during the ride, and he truly made me feel welcomed and at ease. I would wholeheartedly recommend Jim as the go-to person for anything you might need. They both made my stay memorable, and I’m so grateful for their hospitality!

Joanne and Jeremy are wonderful Hosts and they have done a fantastic Job by hosting me!! They know a lot about the area and have great Suggestions on what you can do around there. I just felt Like Home and very warmly welcomed! Thanks so much for having me!

Glenn and Teena were very welcoming and helpful, especially with allowing our trailer in their driveway. In our room, there were lots of snacks and beverages, including a range of tea bags, cereals, fruit and a fridge full of juice, milk and yoghurt. Very close to Wareham town centre, to which we cycled - lots of cycle paths and walking in lovely countryside. An ideal place to stay. Thank you both.

Helen has a really sweet B&B that is perfectly located for exploring the New Forest. We were in the Willow Room (double en suite) and it was very cute, cosy, and quiet. Plus we got home-cooked breakfast of our choosing in the morning, all delicious. Helen and her family were responsive and super friendly. Will definitely stay again if I’m down near Cadnam.

Louis is a top class host , he provides a comfortable , spotlessly clean and efficient place to stay. We liked the fact that we got clear instructions to access the house / room and effective help when we needed it. Thank you again ! Also great street parking - would highly recommend Louis’s place if your staying in Sandbanks.

I can only second all the other wonderful reviews for our 3 night stay with Jocelyn, it is absolutely outstanding. The rooms are fabulous, beautifully furnished, super comfortable beds, lovely sparkling clean bathrooms and all the amenities you could want. Our rooms were cleaned every day and fresh milk, water and biscuits provided. Joss and her Dad were really welcoming and the breakfasts were delicious. The location is perfect - within walking distance of the beaches, lovely places to eat and numerous places to walk. I can thoroughly recommend a stay in this super b&b.

My daughter and I spent two nights at Alison’s charming cottage, nestled in the heart of nature – exactly what we were looking for! We booked just two days before arriving, and Alison was incredibly flexible and accommodating. One of the real highlights was the chance to meet and chat with her – such a lovely person: warm, welcoming, and full of great local tips. A special mention must go to the delicious breakfast! It’s a truly lovely spot for anyone who enjoys unfussy travel in beautiful natural surroundings, with plenty of attractions nearby. Thank you Alison for such a peaceful week-end in the New Forest…

Wonderful home ,in a perfect location .The whole family welcoming .Lovely bedroom which had everything you needed, little treats of chocolates and crisps and bottled water. The breakfast was amazing just like you would have in Norway .Ingvild was the perfect host and such an interesting lady . We would definitely return in the future .Thanks to all the family .

Lovely spot and extremely conveniently located relative to the Tank Museum so if you’re visiting and aim to stay over you couldn’t do better. Gillian is also a very friendly and hospitable host who made us feel very welcome. Would happily stay again!

Jan and Patrick made me feel right at home immediately I arrived. Their welcome was incredibly warm - thank you both. The property was exactly as described and met my needs perfectly. The location is great for anyone wanting to access either central Bournemouth or Poole - particularly given the proximity to public transport. A very peaceful and relaxing stay - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jan’s place to anyone planning a visit to Bournemouth.

Darren and Chi made us feel so welcomed in their home. Breakfast was delicious and they were extremely flexible and accommodating. Their home is ideally located adjacent to a stairway leading into Bournemouth Upper Gardens and about a 16 min jog to Bournemouth main pier/beachfront. Perfect if you're looking for a weekend away on the coast!

Unfortunately, I had to cancel my stay at the last minute. Alison was extremely helpful, always very responsive in communications, gave very detailed location and access instructions, was very flexible re arrival times etc. I hope to rebook with Alison asap!

We had a delightful stay with Clive and Angie. They are very welcoming guests. The room with en suite was perfect for our needs, and made for an affordable weekend visiting the New Forest and Bournemouth. The room was bright and spotlessly clean, with some thoughtful touches. We also enjoyed cereals, fresh fruit, toast and preserves, fresh juice and a good pot of tea for our breakfast. Home from home! The recommendation to visit Friars Cliff on our way home was perfect. Thank you for welcoming us into your home. We would love to visit again.

Brian was extremely helpful and friendly! We’ve had to change our check in time a couple of times due to our changing plans and Brian was very accommodating to that! He also had the heating on for us which was a plus! Highly recommend this place!

I had a great time staying at Fee’s house ! The place was clean, cozy and beautiful .The house was well decorated and the surrounding views of the house were lovely .Fee’s dogs were also adorable and friendly! Throughout my stay , Fee was incredibly helpful and kind. Communication with Fee was clear and prompt . I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Dorset!
