Described perfectly!!! You will get what you are expecting. Great home to spend time with family. Nice separation for privacy if you need it. BEAUTIFUL YARD! We enjoyed playing in the snow. WE ARE REPEAT CUSTOMERS. Last time we came in the Spring. Kathi was super helpful. We had some weather issues and she helped us resolve it with her flexibility. We are so grateful. We enjoyed time with our children and granddaughter. We played lots of games . Had groceries delivered and enjoyed home cooked meals with family! Close to many restaurants and activities if you like.

Kelli's place was absolutely perfect for our party of four + dog! We were visiting for a wedding with many events throughout the week, frequently coming & going. Location was very convenient to downtown & just off the main road for us. We particularly appreciated that while the place felt homey, it wasn't overly full of decorations covering every surface, making you feel like your belongings are going to get easily lost. It was well equipped to cook at the place & we wanted for nothing! Kelli was extremely kind & accommodating to our schedule. We would definitely stay here again!

We thank the host's for caring so much to provide the beautiful home with all the amenities. (Sheets, blankets, towels, shampoo, conditioner, pots pans, dishes etc.) Everything was super clean, spacious, and perfectly managed. My entire family was able to stay in the home without walking on top of each other. This great house and experience made the reason our family was there a lot better. We were there to put our parents to their final resting place. Thank you for being a positive experience in this difficult time. We definitely recommend this Airbnb.

Excellent stay while in the area for soccer and hiking and needing a pet friendly option. Great for families with kids. Plenty of space to spread out. Kitchen was well appointed. Everything was clean and ready for us ! Extra goodies for Our pet was a nice touch. Highly recommend! Thanks!

Linda's place was the best. extremely comfy beds. Could drive to anything within 5 -10 minutes. Plenty of amenities. Didn't have to leave the house unless you wanted to get your own groceries. Linda supplies it all! Multiple TV's, great Wifi, wonderful instructions, extremely responsive. A beautiful, safe, clean house with gorgeous wooded areas and trails around for a serene and peaceful stay.

This is the second time we have stayed at this house. Host is fantastic and house is in a peaceful area with beautiful scenery. Hosts instructions are very clear and check in and out is a breeze. Thank you for being a great host.

I have been staying at Airbnb's for about 10 years now throughout the US, and I have to say this is by far the BEST house I have ever stayed at. The house was beautifully decorated and felt so homey, right when you walked in. Kevin thought about everything when it came to accommodations as well! Paper products, laundry pods and dryer sheets, coffee pods, PLUS creamer! Bath towels, linens, beds, furniture (inside and out) were all so comfortable. I have already started making arrangements to come back next year. Anyone booking this house will NOT be disappointed. Thank you Kevin, and family!!

If you want a peaceful setting with a nice little place to sleep/eat in… it’s perfect. The creek was fantastic and the fire pit was a great bonus. Next time I’ll bring charcoal for the grill. Highly recommended. One of my new favorite Airbnb’s close by. Well worth it.

The Box Elder Tree House is the perfect place if you're looking for an experience!! Veronica was an amazing host during our stay. She was quick to respond to our last minute booking and so thoughtful, going so far as to put the heater on in the tree house so it was warmed up for us. We arrived after dark and still managed to locate the tree house with ease using her instructions, and saw SO many bunnies! The house itself is very cozy, and we felt right at home when we stepped inside. Listening to the babbling brook nearby and the night sounds of the countryside was divine and a much needed relaxation for us. While we did have some insect roommates, none were troublesome. The bathroom accommodation, while not for everyone, was remarkably well-kept and clean for being outdoors. Thank you Veronica for providing us with such a unique and relaxing experience at your tree house!!

Loved this place for our 1 night stay! Beds were comfy & we felt right at home. Megan & Joel were very helpful & responded quickly. 10/10 would recommend.

Great location ! Our party stayed here while we kayaked for a few days on the James River! Very clean, well stocked , and all details covered! Even a candy bar bouquet to greet you ! Beautiful scenery & quiet ! Wonderful house ! Highly recommend!

We stayed the night traveling through. The home was extremely clean. Renovated with all new appliances. Bed was very comfy. Excellent host very accommodating. Great location for a couple or small family. Nice porch if you want to sit outside. Reasonable rate and much better than a hotel room, we travel with a dog. My husband left his Apple Watch. Miss Kimberly, mailed it to us, which was very nice of her.

Great place and terrific communication

We rented Rachel‘s cottage for a quick weekend and it was absolutely perfect. We love the privacy and took advantage of the fire pit, hot tub, grill as well as the local river. Rachel was an absolutely wonderful host and very responsive and helpful during our stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The views are fantastic and the cabin is peaceful and cozy. There are some nice hiking trails a short drive from the cabin. We would definitely come again!

Our stay was wonderful! The quaint tiny home was quiet and secluded for me and my wife. The outdoor furniture and tables made for scenic views while we ate our meals and drank our morning coffee. Overall, it was a perfect getaway!

Words cannot do justice for this storybook cabin in the woods!! The babbling creek was constantly soothing whether cooking on the deck, relaxing in the hammock, stoking up the fire, or enjoying the wood fired hot tub. Being surrounded by nature was soul nourishing and allowed us to truly unplug and reset over a long weekend. Inside, the cabin was cozy, comfy, relaxing, luxurious and obviously built and finished with heartfelt craftsmanship. Rhonda and Jeff were friendly and inviting. Our fur baby, Dutton, enjoyed meeting them too!!So many beautiful sights close by…Smith Mountain Lake, Blue Ridge Parkway, and sleepy mountain, laid back towns. What’s not to love??!! We will definitely be back in the fall!!!
