We stayed here during our time in Scandinavia and it was an absolute highlight of the trip. Ulrica was very friendly, warm, and welcoming, which was so lovely after a day of traveling. The space itself is gorgeous, peaceful, and private. Waking up to swans swimming just outside the window was a wonderful way to start the day. While staying here, my husband and I kept saying that we couldn’t believe where we were - it was all just so beautiful and idyllic. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to the Stockholm area & take advantage of the additional spa/wood-fired sauna offering! They were a treat to end the day with. Thank you, Ulrica for your hospitality and for sharing such a special place!! - Insight for anyone traveling without a car: the public transit was easy to use to and from Stockholm. The walk to the bus stop is a bit hilly so take that into consideration with luggage :) We did use an Uber once after a long day wandering in Stockholm and it was about 18€.

Nous avons passé 2 jours incroyables, entouré par une faune et une flore exceptionnelles et un magnifique coucher de soleil. Il y a des loisirs proposé par les hôtes qui sont super chouettes. Le logement est très paisible avec son ponton. C'est un endroit idéal pour observer, contempler la nature. Un grand merci à Ulrich pour son accueil, sa disponibilité et sa sympathie. We loved our stay! The location is beautiful with nice walks nearby. The cottage is very well equipped. The sauna and wharf are picturesque. Ulla and Karl-Gustav are the most fantastic hosts. Very kind, responsive and available but also respect the space. We would love to come back!

Stefan et Anna ont été des hôtes très accueillants, la communication était très facile. Anna nous a accueilli avec un délicieux gâteau à la cannelle. Le logement est situé sur une petite île dans le magnifique archipel de Stockholm sur une île entre mer et forêt où l'exploration est facile. Nous avons voyagé avec mes deux enfants de 11 et 13 ans. Nous avons eu la chance de voir des daims, des biche et un élan sur Byholmen.

Appartement très bien placé, à 10 minutes à pied du métro, restaurant et magasins d’alimentation. Le métro nous amène en 5 min au centre-ville et à la gare centrale. La proximité du canal offre des possibilités de promenades ou de course à pied entouré des habitants du quartier. Au pied de l’immeuble se trouve un chouette café avec possibilité de se restaurer, que nous pouvons que recommander. L’appartement est spacieux, confortable, conforme à la description. Vincenzo a été très réactif et disponible.

We spent a wonderful vacation in Joakim's cabin. The location and facilities of the accommodation were as described and even exceeded our expectations. It is the perfect place to retreat and enjoy the surrounding nature, especially the lovely view of the sea. There are some very nice hiking trails starting right at the accommodation and with the bus and boat stops very close by, other hiking and shopping opportunities are also easily accessible. Joakim was very friendly and helped us with information as well as with a spontaneous, flexible check-in. We definitely recommend Joakim's wonderful accomodation and would be happy to spend another vacation here.

Dejligt hus i de smukkeste omgivelser - og nem kommunikation med værten. Perfekt til mange mennesker og til at nyde den smukke skærgård.

Vi hadde fantastiske dager i hjemmet til Gustaf og Sandra. Huset er så mye bedre i virkeligheten enn på bildene, nydelig innredet med alt man kan ønske seg. Vi var ni stykker, og huset var mer enn stort nok for oss. Ingen av oss ville hjem! Vi ble tilbudt å sjekke inn i huset dagen i forveien, noe som er en god indikasjon på hvor gode verter familien Rova er. All kommunikasjon fungerte så godt, og vi følte oss virkelig velkomne. Vi kan varmt anbefale dem til enhver som ønsker en 10/10 feire i Stockholms skjærgård.

Outstanding property with brilliant hosts. Very responsive to messages and incredibly kind people. Property was in a really quiet area but able to get around and into the city easily (25mins)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and so cozy. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. We can’t recommend this place enough and would love to come back again!

Amazing home in a peaceful town and resting on beautiful waters! The stunning views, modern layout, and sauna made me want to stay a few extra days!! Carl was absolutely wonderful and very responsive! Definitely a home I would rent again for summer so that we can enjoy the outdoors a bit more!

Eine superschöne Gegend, ganz ruhig und idyllisch. Das Haus ist auch sehr schön und gut ausgestattet. Leider konnte man den Hot Tub nicht benutzen und wir mussten den Pool zu Beginn etwas umständlich säubern, aber Magnus war sehr hilfsbereit und hat übers Telefon alles versucht, um uns zu helfen. Ein netter Kontakt und ein wirklich toller Ort. Empfehlenswert!

Johan och hans fru var toppen som hyresvärdar, trevliga och omhändertagande. Huset var mycket fint och utsikten fantastisk. Luftiga ytor som gav en känsla av utrymme. Denna hyresvärd och detta hus rekommenderar vi starkt:)

I had a wonderful time at this place and Charlotte is so gentle and nice. If you look for a place where you can enjoy your privacy and if you like to have it calm then this cabin is perfect. The connection to Stockholm city is very easy. This makes it perfect combining sightseeing with relaxing.

So peaceful! Amazing place to get away from the city. Great access to forest hikes and to Tyresta National Park. Mi-Si was so helpful and proactive; she made us feel very welcome and even offered use of her canoe! We liked it so much that we decided to stay a few extra days. Takes about 15-20 min to walk to Handen/Haninge shops or station through the forest and it's a beautiful stroll! Thanks Mi-Si, we'd love to come back some time! :)

I spent (unfortunately only) 4 nights with my kids in this wonderful house. Less than half an hour outside of Stockholm and you are in a different world, totally calm, right by the sea. The sunrise over the sea - if you happen to be awake at 5 in the morning - is just marvellous. The house is beautiful, even nicer than on the pictures, perfectly clean and perfectly equipped. We had some relaxing days swimming (two neoprene suits available), stand-up paddling, chilling on the terrace and boating around the islands. Renting the yellow boat is a must - it's faster than it looks. Thomas is the perfect host - always available and super supportive when you need him. Thanks for this great vacation! Water-skiing (skies available) is on our list for next time :-)

Die Unterkunft von Malin und Sven ist einzigartig schön! Wunderschöne Lage in Mitten einer traumhaften Natur. Das Anwesen war einfach nur ein Traum, keine Wünsche blieben offen. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 9 Personen, welche sich auf dem Grundstück hervorragend beschäftigen konnten. Gemeinsames Kochen in einer wundervollen Küche, Boule spielen, Kanu fahren oder einfach nur den wundervollen Garten oder die Schärenwelt geniessen. Es war für jeden etwas dabei❤️. Die Kommunikation mit Malin war immer top, sie hat uns viele Tipps gegeben und war immer erreichbar. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen! Vielen herzlichen Dank Malin und Sven🥰

We had a wonderful stay with our two kids! This cosy house has a perfect location in the woods and is just a few steps from the sea with the most beautiful view in all rooms and terrace. Everything we needed was available and we received detailed instructions on where to get groceries and use the public transport. The boat to Stockholm leaves at just a 5 min walk from the house and was a comfortable and beautiful way of transportation. It's the perfect place if you want a peaceful holiday in beautiful surroundings. Bonus: the kids discovered a pirate house in the garden!

Es hätte nicht perfekter sein können... ein Traumhaus, wunderschön eingerichtet, ein herrliches bequemes Bett, ein großer Garten , ein eigener Badestrand mit See, beste Verkehrsanb. in alle Richtg, besonders das Pendelboot, welches in 70 Minuten in Stockholm ist, aber auch der 30-minütige Expressbus nach/von Stockholm, alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Gustavsberg, die herrliche Umgebung und Spaziergänge in wundervoller Natur in unmittelbarer Nähe am Haus, das Artipelag- Museum in toller Lage und schönen Möglichkeiten zu spazieren.... So ein schönes Fleckchen Erde, absolut was für die Seele. Wir genossen es bald morgens mit einem Tässchen Kaffee in der zweiten Etage auf der Wohlfühlcouch zu sitzen und Rehe, Hasen und Eichhörnchen im Baum zu beobachten. Der krönende Abschluss war der Besuch auf der Insel Sandhamn, die Fahrt durch die Schären, die einsamen Sandstrände und wunderschönen Häuschen machten den Besuch jetzt im Herbst zu einer einzigartigenSchwedenidylle. We had a wonderful time at Jan's house! The house, the sauna at the ocean and the nature around it were immensely beautiful and Jan was a great host. Since the house is already more than a 100 years old, Jan is in the process of giving it a makeover and this shows, of course. So it was not that clean and there were some open walls or ceilings. For a family with three kids, however, this meant also a bit of relaxing because we didn't had this feeling of "oh, don't touch that..." We would definitely come back.

Jessicas house is so amazing. It was comfortable, clean, enormous and so beautiful. Everything you would need was provided. I travelled from Australia with my family and it catered so well for 3 generations. My grandchildren loved the games cupboard and the millions of books. Everyone had space to sit and read or watch tv or chat. The island is beautiful and has easy access by ferry to Vaxholm and Stockholm. I would come back in a second. I highly recommend a stay at this amazing property.
