If you are looking for a home away from home, Johnny’s wonderful apartment is exactly that. No one will be more responsive or friendly than Johnny. We will certainly be back.

Fabulous flat and neighbourhood. Lovely cute private garden. Nice furnishings. Great amenities. Very warm always and log fire made it super cosy. Everything clean and clutterless. Very communicative host who made it all easy. Highly recommend staying here if it’s within your budget. It’s possibly on the slightly expensive side for a 2-person accommodation but if you’re going to be mainly home-based for your stay it’s probably worth it house and garden wise.

Had a great few days in this wonderful apartment. The location was perfect and walkable to everything we wanted to do in the city. Communication was exceptional both before and during our stay, from instructions to help us easily find the home, as well as immediate responses to a few questions we had while we were there. We especially appreciated the use of the storage area so we could drop our luggage and explore a bit before checking in. We appreciate all your efforts to make our stay perfect!

Very nice place to stay, really quiet area but close enough to the town for all your needs. Host is very friendly and welcoming. Very flexible check-in, I didn't arrive till 9:30 and it wasn't a problem. Will definitely be staying again.

This was a perfect place for us to stay which was 3 couples. It was in close proximity for walking to many of Edinburgh’s many sights. The host was quick to respond to our questions. The only thing I would suggest to a new renter, is when keying in on Maps is to use both STREET & LANE as our host has it listed. This was our problem, not the hosts. The patio was very nice to sit out and enjoy the neighborhood. If I come back to Edinburgh, I would stay in this BnB again.

We had a very enjoyable stay in Martin's apartment. It is very nicely laid out, with plenty of space and a well-equipped kitchen and living room, all spotlessly clean. Martin provided a great guide to the neighbourhood, which is a fine and relaxing place from which to explore Edinburgh for a weekend or longer stay. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

The house looked stunning with Christmas themed treats for the kids and grown ups and the tree was gorgeous. It was wonderful to arrive to our Christmas holiday in such a well maintained, beautifully decorated warm and spotless house. The kitchen was very well equipped and loo cleaner, counter cleaner and various other basics were included which was great because the car was so full I didn’t have space for my self catering essentials bag that I usually have to travel with. If the area works for you I would highly recommend this house. A great play ground was a short walk from the house and Anne put out some lovely bits and pieces to keep the kids entertained; books, games and toys.

Een mooie woning, groot, opgeruimd en erg huiselijk. Alles is aanwezig en zelf meer, denk aan pleisters of kaarsjes. We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad met twee families. Mochten we nog een keer naar Schotland gaan dan verblijven we graag hier.

The house was beautiful, very spacious and extremely clean. The living area had lots of space with comfy sofas and footstools. There was a massive collection of dvds and books. The garden was peaceful, with garden furniture and a great view of the sea. We had 4 of us plus a baby which meant to bottom floor was ideal for the baby and mother and the rest of us were on the top floor. The view from the upstairs bedrooms were stunning. We walked the coast to the local villages and the village its self had great cafes and restaurants and an award winning chippy! We had the best stay and can’t wait to go back! Thank you to the host for letting us stay, your house is beautiful.

it completely feels like home. everything was outstanding. host was very firendly and responsive. he received me in accommodation when i arrive there. helped me alot to find out local best restaurants.

It's a big flat/town house in a great location, very close to the centre and you can walk through a nearby park which is great.

A great stay! The open concept living is perfect for a group. Not too far from the city and easy to get to in an uber. One downfall is that the shower downstairs flooded the bathroom during each use due to the open concept of the shower area. However, over all we had a good experience!

Great place, this was my second time there due to work. Will defo be back!

My husband and I had a great stay at Tania’s. Tania met us on arrival and walked us through the information for the apartment. It’s a nice sized basement apartment, going down steps off the main road to a private entrance, with a full kitchen. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Tania provided all the basic essentials and even left us tea, milk, and some snacks to get us started which was much appreciated. The location is an 11 min walk from the Haymarket train stop, and all the buses and trams stop just around the corner so it’s an easy location to get to. For a city apartment it’s surprisingly nice and quiet, except for occasional noise from the street or neighbors, but nothing that was an issue. There is plenty to do within walking distance and many food options near by. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Edinburgh!

Natalie's apartment provides for such a relaxing stay in a tasteful, modern environment, within a beautiful, typical Edinburgh new town period property. Natalie was exceptionally helpful, when due to a car accident, I needed to change date of visit. Natalie's communication from pre-arrival to departure was exemplary. It is evident that Natalie and Craig earnestly strive to ensure their guests capitalise on all that Edinburgh has to offer and relax, very comfortably and restfully, after exploring the city. The extra little touches, including some Scottish refreshments were a very pleasant and much appreciated addition! Many thanks, Natalie and Craig. You will be my first choice for accomodation, when I'm next visiting Edinburgh.

Me and my friends stayed at Lee’s place for one night and enjoyed it a lot. The place was clean and cosy with everything we needed for our stay. Beds were comfortable and the living room was a good place to hang out. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Great place. Very private. Great location. Could walk to restaurants and the beach. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again if we ever return to Scotland.

The perfect space for 5 of us to celebrate a friends birthday in Edinburgh. Fantastic location and it was so peaceful, you'd never know you were in a city. We loved the look of the apartment from the website and it more than met our expectations. Both bathrooms and the kitchen were decorated to a very high standard and squeaky clean. All the bedrooms were light and airy with lovely bedding, we all slept really well. On checkout Kate couldn't have been more accommodating, allowing us to store our bags a little later. We'll definitely be back and very happy to recommend to anyone looking for a great space to spend time away in a fabulous city.

Catherine’s place was lovely!! It was beautiful, private and with incredible surroundings. Catherine had breakfast ready for us for the next day and even offered earlier check in! Everything was prepared with such loving care and it made us feel at home. Local jam, fresh marmellate, crispy bread, tea, coffees, porridge, cereals it was so thoughtful! Gave plenty of local recommendations and on the last day her husband even gave us a lift to the nearby town to get a train! They went above and beyond and I would go back and recommend it in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a city escape or just an immersion in nature, there is no better place out there!

TLDR: book this property - you won’t regret it! Okay here’s the long version: One of the top properties we’ve stayed at. We knew we were in for a treat when we were created in person by Alan who graciously welcomed us inside even though we were a bit early. His kindness and quick wit made us feel right at home. The property is everything you could hope for - a fantastic location, easily walkable to dining, pubs/cafes, and tourist sites but still a peaceful retreat after a day’s exploration. The living room and dining area were great for relaxing nights in as was the luxurious rain shower (great pressure and hot!) The tram stop being close was the cherry on top as it made for easy access to/from the airport as well as neighborhoods that were a bit further afield (e.g., Leith).
