Excellent location for hill walking. Comfortable, clean chalet in quiet rural location, well equipped kitchen for self catering. Comfortable beds and living room, good selection of books and spirits, and good sized bathroom with shower. Fiona was responsive, and provided clear instructions on location, checking in etc.

Really nice stay during an unseasonably hot and sunny week in Scotland. Baltinna is well laid out with good facilities and perfect for a couple. Very comfortable bed, decent kitchen for rustling up dinner, and well located within walking distance of shops and places to eat. Friendly host, and lots of information about local walks, cycle routes and attraction. Highly recommend the Wildcat trail that runs from basically the front door. Our only disappointment is the weather was so good we didn’t need to try the wood fire!

My partner and I had a lovely time staying in the wee oak tree pod. It was very relaxing weekend and we look forward to our next trip.

Words couldn’t begin to describe how much we loved this place. Location was immaculate , one step out the door and you’re in heaven. The views of the charming mountains are just priceless. However, do bring your own essentials such as ingredients to cook as the nearest coop is a 20 min drive away. As for the house itself, everything is complete, everything is clean , I find it hard to leave the house myself 😂. Melanie was the nicest and caring host, she even replied after midnight to help with some questions and her instructions were clear and simple. Overall, 100% would repeat this trip and a deserved 5 star ⭐!

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic! It was the perfect peaceful getaway. Very secluded and quiet. The cosy cabin and decor was the perfect vibe to match the surroundings. The hot tub was a fantastic addition and made our stay just that much better. Overall this was a great experience and we would definitely be back in future 🖤 Amy + Ajay

Very clean and cozy home. Everything needed for a comfy stay. Nice and close to the ocean. Ubers are a struggle to get and the bus takes about an hour to get into Edinburgh city center. Overall very clean and positive experience!

Linda’s place was absolutely magical - you are nestled amongst trees with views of the loch and surrounded by birds chirping. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The kitchen was so thoughtfully stocked, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location of the chalet itself is perfect : 20 minutes from Callandar which had great restaurants and shopping, and 10 minute ride into Killin and other beautiful nature spots. Linda was so helpful and responsive throughout our stay — it really made our experience stress free. We will definitely be back!

Another fantastic stay at Jacqui’s lovely lodge. You want for nothing inside and we were blessed with amazing weather (without the arrival of the Scottish Midge) so could sit out most days after our day hikes. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and really look forward to returning over the next few years. As previously The Clachan Inn in Drymen is worth a supper out (ring to book no online booking system) and the Spa shop in the village is really useful along with the fantastic butchers. Jacqui was very responsive and left some lovely treats on arrival. Thank you again for a great stay.
