My family and I had a great time here! I booked for a long weekend family getaway and everyone was very happy with our stay. The lake was beautiful and the entire outdoor area was so well kept and peaceful. Very easy to get out on the water with the kayaks and paddle boards. We enjoyed the fishing and actually caught several decent sized fish. Inside was very clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed. We definitely intend on staying here again next time we’re in Tuscaloosa and have passed the location along to friends and family as well!

Loved being close to campus and areas of Northport and my college daughter was thankful for the use of the washer and dryer! Clean and quiet location.

Our stay at Day Dreamer was absolutely wonderful! From the very beginning, the host provided helpful and thorough information before our arrival, which made the entire check-in process seamless. The rental itself was beautifully updated and tastefully decorated, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. It was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The amenities were outstanding — we especially loved the fire pit, which was set up with wood and a fire starter ready to go. The home also included family board games, plush bathrobes and towels, and convenient guest toiletry bags, all of which added extra comfort to our stay. Our favorite part of the experience was definitely the fire pit and grill area — it made for some unforgettable evenings. Plus, the location couldn’t have been better — just minutes from the University of Alabama campus. I highly recommend Day Dreamer to anyone looking for a cozy, well-appointed place to stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful home in a nice quiet neighborhood! I needed something close to campus and it was perfect. I had everything I needed and the host was very responsive. Everything was clean and the beds and pillows are so comfortable, I slept better than I have in a while. A big plus was how beautifully it was decorated. I will definitely be back!

This home was a short 30 minutes from Tuscaloosa at a great value which worked out well for us. The property was clean and the owner was very responsive when any questions were asked. The property is a little off the interstate but was in an area with lots of other homes and we felt very safe.

Great place. Clean, almost new. Great location. Almost want to keep it a secret!

Blue Shadows is a lovely get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Miss Ann was attentive to any and all needs and a wonderful conversationalist! We greatly enjoyed sharing Sunday breakfast together in Blue Shadow's opulent dining room. We certainly look forward to more visits in the future.

We felt right at home. It was extremely clean (ran into the owner of Maid OCD LLC and would so hire her if she was in my home town). Loved the back patio with TV absolutely great! Very spacious and well lit. There wasn't a garage door opener and the garage door wouldn't stay closed unless we held the button. Lastly, there is a life sized zebra in the kitchen. It is startling! So be mindful it's there. We will certainly rent this home again. Please remove the zebra though. Great host and will always seek to rent from this host. Very easy and simple stay each time. This is the second time I’ve chosen this place and, just as the first time, it did not disappoint. The host was more than helpful, communication was impeccable and I would come back here anytime! Highly recommend it!
