Laurel was an amazing host! The place was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She was incredibly responsive throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. Her thoughtfulness really stood out—she even offered us a late checkout, which we truly appreciated. The peaceful surroundings and little touches made it feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend staying here—we’d definitely love to come back!

From the very beginning, Tim was extremely attentive and answered all of my questions immediately. I knew what to expect as soon as I walked in. The house fit 2 families and 2 large lazy dogs without feeling cramped. Having water access was amazing, the kids fished all day while the parents enjoyed time on the patio. The kids were able to take kayaks out to fish as well. The water grass made it a little difficult to keep an eye on the kids from the patio area, but not enough to be a problem. The water is very shallow but we were able to park our rented boat (Mac's Boat Rental-super awesome to the kids) without a problem. This house is exactly what we were looking for; private, waterfront and allowed dogs heavier that 20lbs-which is difficult to find. This house was a gem and we will gladly rent again! Thanks Tim!

I was here for a fall visit so could not take full advantage of the wonderful lake location but would love to come back in the summer to fully enjoy this location. We did have the chance to go on an afternoon kayak which was great fun and absolutely beautiful with the fall foliage! The kitchen is very well stocked with pots and pans and utensils as well as a few spices. We cooked a lot and I brought all ingredients and condiments I needed and I would recommend you do the same. Shop before hand as there is not a grocery store nearby. The location is right across the street from a Circle K but the house is nestled far back from the road with a garage out front so the gas station and all it's buzz were not at all noticeable. The living room was arranged awkwardly and with some tired furniture and the TV is actually in the dining room. If you were a large group trying to watch a movie or gather in the living room this would be a bit challenging. The beds were extremely comfortable!

Beautiful location! The house was very well stocked. The hospitality was 10/10. Our group had a great time. One of the best Airbnb experiences I have had!

This is the third stay for me and other family members. The home is spacious and very comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen, extra towels and bedding. It's in a very convenient location, close to restaurants, the river walk, and easy access to other river towns, the bridge to the US and Ottawa. Aimee is a very responsive host. We had a couple of very minor issues, but she resolved them very quickly. We will definitely stay here again!

This renovated farmhouse was situated on a peaceful road not to far from our son’s university. House was clean and had plenty of space for us and our dog. The snowshoes were an added bonus as there was over three feet of snow on the ground. It allowed us to explore the property and experience a bit of the North Country winter. Would definitely return.

Great find! Loved the ambiance and Joe is so helpful and friendly! We absolutely loved our time and will be back! There is a Keurig no drip coffee FYI.

One of the best places we've ever stayed on vacation! The house was beautiful and kept very clean. So much character and history. Peter and Darlene were gracious hosts, very welcoming and helpful with local recommendations. Would absolutely stay there again!

Kirsten was so gracious in letting us book same-day after we had a bit of a renovation crisis at our home and needed somewhere nearby to escape the noise and chaos. The accomodations were cozy and charming, and so thoughtfully appointed that we fell in love with it immediately. It was just what we needed - welcoming and restful, great water pressure, a large comfortable bed, even farm-fresh eggs and cream waiting for us in the fridge! We’re so grateful that Kirsten was happy to accomodate us on such short notice, it was perfect. Highly recommend! —-The Urquharts

The house and grounds were great, Such a wonderful find for a weekend getaway. Gillian med us upon our arrival and gave us a third walk-through of the property. A very kind and welcoming host. There was an incredible amount of space in this country ranch, both indoors and out. A hot tub was clean and large enough for my group to hang out, picnic tables outside, made for a good barbecue. It was such a short trip to downtown Alexandria Bay, five minutes, it really was a great place to be right next to the heart of it all well not being stuck the rest of the visitors. We all look forward to looking this place again and enjoying the thousand islands

This airbnb was very spacious and fun. We held my bachelorette weekend get away here with my bridesmaids. Helen was very responsive to our messages and made our stay a breeze. The pool is very clean and the rooms are great size. The dinning room and living room was a great set up for game night! this airbnb is about 20 minutes from awesome spots at Alexandra Bay.

Wow, what a gorgeous place!! The pictures don't do justice to how beautiful and peaceful the setting is and how unique and interesting the cottage is. We loved everything about it, and we spent hours just sitting on the balcony watching local boat traffic as well as giant tankers and freighters go by. It's an easy walk into Alex Bay and a short drive to Clayton where there's a better selection of restaurants.

Q Estate- Lake Front Cottages was the most relaxing and scenic retreat for our family. Suzette, our host went above and beyond. From day one of arriving the house felt so warm & inviting. Every little detail of the space felt like home and being with 2 little children under 5, and 3 adults we felt extra cozy indeed. Check in was a breeze. There is a nice parking area for the vehicles. The kitchen was pristine with lovely touches such as the hot cocoa, potato chips and rice crispy treats! Everything was brand new and with Netflix?!! You have everything you need. The swimming pool is also the most serene setting. There’s a sitting area with plush pillows and comfy seats as you gaze into the lustrous sea ahead. In the morning when the sun rises you can witness the beauty nature has to offer. This cottage made the perfect holiday for us and we are certain we will visit again! You will not be disappointed if you seek peace & quiet, a lot of nature and an updated super tidy humble home.

The cottage was great. Rustic with a lot of character and reminded me of St Lawrence and Finger Lakes vacations when I was a kid. We've stayed at a number of places on the river over the years and this was the first time upon arrival I turned to my wife and said..."Now THIS is a river cottage." It had everything you could ever want to just be at the river and enjoy yourself. Susan was a great host, gave detailed, easy, and clear instructions and was very responsive.

Jess's place was the perfect place to lay our head after visiting some colleges. The best part was the communication and willingness to truly go above and beyond for us. I realized I forgot my hairdryer, but there wasn't one on the listing, so I inquired if maybe they had one that they didn't list and they were kind enough to let me borrow theirs. We also had a very minor issue with the heat, and they went above and beyond to try to get it fixed for us that night despite me saying several times that they really didn't have to. If you're looking to stay with somebody very friendly, very available, and very accommodating, look no further.

We wanted to reconnect as a family before our daughter heads away for a few months of travel and this was the perfect spot. It’s such a beautiful cottage in an incredible location with incredible views. From mornings spent marveling at the sunrise over the lake to walking the trails, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We visited in winter and although we were warned there is no central heat, with the baseboard heaters and a wood burning stove, we were always warm and cozy - even at night. Chris was a great host and would check in on us to ensure we had everything we need. We’re already trying to decide when we can go back!

Phyllis, & her daughter Jennifer, went above & beyond to make us, our 6yo & 12yo, and our crazy Bernedoodle feel very welcome. They seemed very happy to have us, and even offered us many of their personal things and private areas on their property to enjoy. Unique & beautiful surroundings that push you to relax, with a cozy/charming/glamping-style accommodation that makes you feel at home.

Extremely accommodating for last minute reservation. Description was accurate. Well maintained, clean and comfortable. It is obvious he and his co-host Heather take pride in the property and the service they provide. Received inclement weather (icy conditions) while there and was morning of our check out. They reached out to let us know they had put down salt to our vehicle and to not rush/worry about check out time. Very kind gestures that went beyond being a good host, but clearly demonstrated good and kind people!! We would highly recommend.

I don’t want to leave this review as it may keep this place booked and I would not be able to rent again. We think it is just right for us. We rented for an ice fishing trip and they are more than accommodating. Would rent again and again
