Amazing location to switch off and relax. The place is pretty basic which is fine but it needs a bit of TLC. Would be great to have the wood at the house and not having to ask for it all the time. Worth visiting for sure for the location and views/walk around the private estate.

Just got home after 3 nights in Iwans place in Bala. This place is spotlessly clean, beautiful inside from top to bottom. The four kids loved the outdoor space for playing and they loved the hot tub too. Bala is a beautiful town with lots of options for eating out, take aways and has a couple of fresh bakery’s. Centrally located in north wales with LOTS to do for all ages around the area. We got the small steam train, went white water rafting both within minutes drive from here. Can’t recommend this place enough, we will be back thanks Iwan

We had a wonderful stay with our adult children and partners and our dog . The house was in a fabulous position . Very close to the lovely town and many beautiful walks . We didn’t use the car once . Plenty of parking . The hot tub was great with beautiful views . The hosts made a real effort leaving a lovely welcome pack for us . Tracey was very responsive and helpful letting us check in early and out late . We would definitely come again. Highly recommended

Had a lovely long weekend in Clawdd Offa Farm. Photos of the property were plentiful and accurate and communication with Ben was easy. The house itself is comfortable and well kitted out with some lovely touches. The tranquil location and the hot tub really made our college reunion trip special. And there was a fab little welcome basket on arrival. Definitely recommend!

We had a brilliant 3 night stay at Lucindas cottage. The location was exactly what we wanted, very private and quiet and has a great outdoor area. It is close to Eryri NP and Betws-y-Coed which are great to visit. Alien Reservoir and Llyn Brenig are within walking distance and have some nice quiet walking routes. We would highly recommending booking here!

It’s a wonderful experience staying here. It has best towels I have ever experienced, comparable to the top quality hotels. The e bedrooms suits us very well. We also spend a lot of time in the kitchen and dining area, eating and working. I also give high remarks on the interior finishes style. And many others, including some tasty biscuits prepared for us.

A very nice apartment at a fantastic location. Close to shops and tram-station. Maybe a bit for the center of town, but for us it was perfect. And Jo was a very proactive and responding host.

Wonderful stay in Rivercatcher. We usually visit Bala Lake in early May but staying at Andy's place gave us the added bonus of fishing on the river on the estate. The kitchen was extremelly well stocked, everything was very clean and the kids loved the hot tub. Check in was also smooth and easy and it was nice to have access to the separate laundry room (across from the lodge) and to the games room. Would definitely recommend as a nice place to stay with friends and family.

The location and views over the racecourse are very attractive. Easy stroll into town centre. The recommended Architect Pub is close by and has lovely gardens and good pub food. The apartment is spotless, beds are comfy and we had everything we needed for a short break. Communication with Emma is excellent, she responds quickly and is very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you Emma!

We were a group of 4 and the apartment was perfect, had everything we needed and is in a perfect location. Well equipped kitchen for a night in and plenty of room to spread out. Some road/outside noise in the bedrooms at night but it is a city and is to be expected I guess. Handy for the racecourse and you’re into Chester centre in 5/10 mins.

I was delighted to stay in this Airbnb. I felt instantly at home, it was warm, cosy, v comfortable and clean. I would definitely recommend and stay again. It was just down the street from the train station, and the local shops of Waterloo

A really spacious apartment right opposite M&S Arena. Prefect location. The apartment was very clean and very well equipped. Would definitely return and highly recommend. Also great and very fast communication

We liked the very central location and accessibility to local services. The rear terrace was nice, we had our breakfast outside on the terrace on Saturday morning in the sunshine. Decor of the rooms looked good too. Beds were comfortable.

Beautiful cottage next to Lake Bala and lovely hosts. Nice village 10 mins walk away and a reasonable drive to bottom of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). Only disappointment—adjacent to quite a busy road.

If you like to see Woodpeckers, Nuthatches and Jays feeding just outside the window and want to hear only the sound of birdsong and a babbling stream then this is the place for you. Okay, netflix, prime etc is available if you have an account with them via the smart tv, but why not turn off the tv and enjoy the serenity? The reviews say it all really - enchanting. The only negative (for some) may be the 15 min drive up the one track, steep and bending road, its not for the nervous driver, but once done, you get used to where the passing places are and it is all part of the adventure of staying in this beautiful part of the country.

Was a great house to escape to between Xmas and new year with friends, teenagers and dog. Perfect base for exploring North wales, Lou recommended a great pub in Bala and was very helpful and quick at communicating too.

We loved our stay in this pretty cottage. It was very clean and comfortable and incredibly well equipped. Plenty of room to spread out and sit and chat in the evenings. The front garden is a sun trap and a great place to sit and chill after a busy day. The cottage was easy to find and the key safe makes it easy to access and means you’re not tied to a specific time. Great power showers and comfy beds too. The perfect place to stay if you want to be in Betws.

Amazing stay. The location is absolutely brilliant. Our two girls (aged 5 and 8) has the best time and loved the fort, zip line and the two dogs. Toby and Steph are incredibly kind and nothing is too much trouble. When we arrived Steph brought us a homemade loaf and freshly laid eggs. We will definitely be booking again. Highly recommend visiting the closet beaches (which are about 50mins away) stunning scenery. An amazing holiday all round.

A very charming and homey cottage in a quaint little hamlet. We thoroughly enjoyed being in such a warm, cozy place with no TVs and no distractions. The beds were comfortable and everything was as described. Thanks Femke!

Cosy, beautiful cottage. The cottage is situated in a area of outstanding scenery. The welsh countryside is beautiful. The cottage is a great base to explore North Wales countryside and coast. There is a lovely garden for a BBQ in the sunshine and inside the cottage, a Log burner for evenings by the fire. We really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this place thank you 😊

Absolutely lovely stay in a peaceful location with beautiful views which ended with some snow! We felt right at home as soon as we arrived at this cosy cottage, that had everything we needed during our stay. Karen is a great host and was incredibly helpful and quick to respond. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing trip, off-track with nearby walks and great views. This was the perfect new year reset to begin 2025, thank you! :)
