We have just returned from a week at The Piggery and can honestly say it was the best UK holiday we have ever had. The Piggery has everything you need and we felt at home straight away. The location is wonderful. If you like hiking, you will love this place. We walked for miles and miles and still found different routes each day. The mountain you see in the distance is walkable but a hard climb. The views are worth it though! I would recommend downloading Kamoot and creating routes to explore. You won’t get lost and everywhere is dog friendly. The Chainbridge hotel was a perfect spot to grab a beer and a pinot blush after a long relaxing walk and then it’s a 2 min stroll to your waiting hot tub! Honestly can’t rave about this place enough. We will definitely be back.

Everything about our stay has been utterly perfect. Having stayed in many Airbnb’s, this is certainly one of the best. All of the little details have been thought through, from the lovely and generous welcome package, to having plenty of logs available for the hot tub and even extra hot tub towels provided. The outside area is so well looked after that we just wanted to stay in the garden. We didn’t feel the need to leave the cottage at all! What made our experience even better was just how lovely, friendly and helpful Amy has been. I think this will be an annual trip for our family. Thanks so much again 😊

Had a wonderful 2 nights staying in the cottage on a working farm. It felt really peaceful but was also only a 5-10 min drive to Ruthin. We stayed here so we could go walking in the Clwydian Range, this was around a 15-20 min drive depending on which car park we wanted to start the walk from, but it was all perfect for us. We even found a short local walk from the cottage itself along a public footpath. The cottage was very well equipped, we used the kitchen each evening, and it was a lovely cozy space. The cottage was immaculate and we really enjoyed the hot tub, and watching the horses nearby. Richard and Ceri were lovely and welcoming hosts and we'd highly recommend the rural retreat.

Such a beautiful home to stay in. Peaceful and relaxing. And close to Bala. Steven was a great host. Leaving wine, fresh eggs off the farm, bread and other things to welcome us. We will definitely be back next year

We had the most wonderful stay at the oak tree hideaway! It’s a beautiful property, the bed is SO comfortable and the hot tub is a fab, added bit of luxury!! It really feels like a home away from home. When we arrived, we met James who was so friendly and welcoming, which wasn’t a surprise when all the messages exchanged prior to our stay were so prompt, friendly and helpful. The surroundings of the property are just beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

llyr and Emma's house was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. we would love to go back soon. The surround are was so peaceful and scenic. My son had a problem with his car whilst we were there, Llyr came within 10 minutes on his quad with a battery pack to help us. Can't thank you both enough for such a lovely stay for me and my family.

We stayed here for a few days whilst visiting. Although we knew the Wirral, we were less familiar with the old village side of Heswall. With beautiful views over the Dee to North Wales, this property is comfortable and well presented, as well as being spotlessly clean. There is a pub literally across the road, and local village shops a few minutes' walk away. There are good walks along the Wirral Way ( a disused railway line) within a few minutes of the house. We lived our stay there and would thoroughly recommend the property and Lisa's hosting.

We had a fabulous few days at Garth Mill. Dan messaged to give us location/check in details & we were also offered an early check in which was perfect. The house is even better than described - pristine and decorated with immaculate taste. The only think I feel would improve it is a larger fridge - but that’s a minor quibble. There is so much history to the house and it is great to see all the old photos dotted about. Dan checked to see we had arrived safely and to make sure we knew he was available for any questions. Would highly recommend!

One of the best holiday cottages we've stayed in. Very clean, cosy and quirky, with loads of thoughtful touches. Well equipped kitchen, lovely welcome hamper, even a tin of biscuits for the dog. We wanted a coastal location with walks from the door, with places to eat and drink nearby, and we got just that. It was also beautifully quiet at night so we slept like logs. Loads to explore nearby by car, train and ferry. Totally recommend a New Brighton break! Thanks Kate. We had a fabulous time. :-)

Diane is an amazing host and this Airbnb is truly a gem. The location is beautiful, quiet and the views from the cottage our over the fields are amazing. The cottage is luxurious spacious and incredibly well equipped. The kitchen had everything we could want including a proper espresso machine. The local towns are good and have plenty of restaurants and shops, our host also shared several amazing local dog walks with us.

A fantastic little place to stay with incredibly helpful owners. It is ideal for a couple to use as a base to explore the local area. It is situated on a quiet road and is equipped with everything you could need for a mini break. Further afield you have access to a whole host of walks across North Wales. We couldn’t have asked for much more.

Great cottage in a brilliant location in the heart of Chester. Would definitely recommend it for a city stay & thank you to Rod for the brilliant comms.

Excellent accommodation, exactly as described. Two well appointed bedrooms with powerful hot showers. We really appreciated the toys, tractor and box of Lego which kept our grandson busy for quite a few hours. Very welcoming hosts, and two lovely labradors who came to say hello. Only a short drive to Loggerheads Country Park for a great walk with lovely scenery.

A lovely and very comfortable little barn with great hosts. Excellent communication and flexibility: We booked on the day of arrival and Kim very quickly replied offering us early arrival should we wish. Very highly recommended.

We had a great break here visiting friends and family. Lovely clean house in a peaceful location. Made a great base for travelling around the local area.

This is the second time I have booked Ann & Daves place, it is an excellent find. I booked this place for my partner Bradley, who was working away from home for over a week. The hosts were very quick when answering any queries I had, they sent clear instructions on how to find the Airbnb and how to access it, it was easy to find and check in. Plenty of parking for our pickup truck, right outside which is very handy. The Airbnb was really nice, lots of space, very well decorated and furnished, with all amenities needed when staying away from home. The location was quiet, perfect when working long days and you want a good night rest. Would highly recommend. Thank you for hosting Brad 🙃

Overall stay was wonderful. Walkable distances to most of the attractions and pubs.

I find it difficult to write a review of Alan's cottage because it is a lovely gentle quiet undemanding place. Alan is a wonderful host bringing much cheer and happiness and warmth. I enjoyed my stay very much and I would recommend staying to others .

The cottage was well-equipped, characterful, and peaceful; truly a home away from home. It is situated in a quiet location within a beautiful area. There are great transport links. The property was spotless and had everything required for a cosy, comfortable stay. I had to leave early owing to a medical issue but I will definitely return. My partner and I had the best couple of nights away at Ash Bank. Great location, with only a short and cheap uber ride into the centre. The house was perfect, interior was incredible and Vanessa provided all the added extra touches to make it so homey. The hot tub in the garden is bonus too! Vanessa is a PERFECT host, fantastic communication and super thoughtful leaving a card and bottles for our anniversary. We will definitely be coming back to stay and making it a regular thing!
