My family and I were just stopping in Macon for a night on our way to Florida, and it was a perfect place for us! Just the right amount of space, super clean, bathrooms were pristine, beds were super comfy, and the towels were really soft. We felt perfectly at home and would definitely stay again.

The house was beautiful and so spacious! My sisters and I really enjoyed our stay. Bedrooms are large with plenty of closet space. The yard was great for the dogs. Beautiful surroundings, even saw some deer. Would stay here again.

When we made this reservation, never did we think how perfect this would be. You feel like your the only one from miles, but your close to everything in town. From the beginning the hosts were very helpful to answer all questions, and let us know of the extras they offer (YES get the firewood for the fire pit on the back patio). When we needed extra supplies, they were quick to run them by for us. The HOUSE, this home is stunning, cozy, and you feel like you living the life. So peaceful, lots of trees, we saw 15+ deer and babies, squirrels, bunnies, and beautiful birds. We went for several hikes on the property, and felt very safe and enjoyed every moment. The home was very clean and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure the needs of their guests were met. I promise we would make sure this home is available before booking another trip! Great place. The scenery and privacy is top notch. Very clean and probably best for families with one set of parents. Property manager was incredibly responsive and nice. Would absolutely stay there again! Thank you for a great stay!

Check-in instructions were extremely thorough and helpful. The alley to the garage was a too tight for my vehicle, but there is a $5 overnight parking garage less than 1 minute walk away. I can't comment on the elevator since we did not use it but the stairs are quick work. We were in town for a show at the Capitol Theatre, and going forward we will always use this rental if it is available. The proximity - 30 second walk - cannot be beat. It's probably a quick minute walk to the Macon Auditorium. The pictures do not do the size of this place justice either - it is very roomy.

We are very thankful to have stayed at Doug's place. We found the place with ease, it was clean and very spacious. The place had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The yard was beautiful and very peaceful. It felt quiet and private! We had our children with us and Doug never complained of the kids being too loud, in fact he said he loved hearing their playful voices. Doug and his wife were very accommodating and always very quick to respond. Thank you for a great stay. Highly recommend it if you are staying in Macon.

This property was probably the cleanest places we have ever stayed. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. We even accidentally left an item and he called to let us know so we could come back and pick it up. Plenty of room and nicely remodeled historic home. Rent it. You will not regret it.
