We had a wonderful stay at April’s Airbnb! My husband, two sisters, brother-in-law, and I stayed here, and it was perfect size for our group. My sister also brought her dog, who absolutely loved the big backyard! The home was very comfortable and cozy, making it the perfect place to relax after our daily adventures. The location was great—just a short drive to Shepherdstown, Charles Town, Antietam, and Harpers Ferry, with Gettysburg only about an hour away. It was the ideal spot for exploring the area! April was a fantastic host—very responsive, checking in to make sure everything was going well, and offering great recommendations for nearby restaurants. We also really appreciated all the little thoughtful touches, like extra toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair care items, and TV's in all the bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again!

We instantly felt right at home at Bird Land for our girls trip! Eric was super accommodating and attentive. The house is very comfortable with a lot of historic charm. The sunny window bed and bird watching area are so beautiful and peaceful. Gorgeous stained glass windows. There is so much room to spread out! The basement bedroom(s) would be great for kids to have their own space. We had a great time and would love to come back.

Everything was amazing! The home was clean and comfortable. Anything we could possibly need was provided. Gina was quick to respond to questions and the location was fabulous. We’ll absolutely be back!

Our group of 9 had a great stay at Katie's place! Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and we appreciated the family friendly amenities like a highchair and pack n play. The older kids loved the bunk beds and the game room and the little hideaway "tent" bed in the primary bedroom was adorable for our three year old. The basement bedroom was perfect for the toddler in our group who needed a dark/quiet place to sleep and would also be great for a teen looking for more privacy. The hot tub was clean and the view from the deck is even better in person. Kitchen was well laid out and had plenty of pots and pans. Cooking oils/spices/bathroom toiletries are not provided but not a huge deal as this was well communicated ahead of our stay. Katie and the property manager were both extremely responsive and helpful. We were really thankful that Katie went the extra mile to find something we had left behind and mail it to us. Hope to stay at Katie's property again soon!

Heather was fantastic! We had lost power due to storms and desperately needed a place to stay with our two dogs. It was a very last minute booking and she was super accommodating. She responded super fast to my messages. The place was super peaceful and clean. Would definitely book with her again!

Ken was an excellent host. This was a great place for our family of four and two dogs. Everyone enjoyed it! We loved the fire pit and the porch with the rocking chairs.

We needed a quiet place where we could unplug from work, noise, traffic, and stress. This did not disappoint. The cabin is located off the beaten path and overlooks a peaceful creek. It is cozy, quiet and rustic. The kitchen is stocked with every utensil you need to cook as well as dishes, glasses and baking necessities; bathroom has more than enough towels and wash cloths for 2 people and a plus for us; it has a washer and dryer which many places we looked at didn't have. We had no issues with internet whether we were using our phones or computers. Any questions we had were promptly answered by the helpful cottage rental team through email. Though the weather wasn't the best till the end of our trip, that didn't deter us... we made great use of the gas fireplace, the hot tub, the screened in porch and were able to build a lovely fire in the fire pit once the windy weather left us. We had a very peaceful week. We plan on coming back.

It was a wonderful place.. Tara and tony are both very nice people and great host... And the place was everything we exspected and more.. I would highly recommend the cozy cabin.

Great stay with family at this little cabin! It was quiet up in the Woods in the winter, and we appreciated the break from city life. There is lots of hiking around and it was great to have passes to the amenities to be able to take the kids to swim in the indoor pool. Kitchen had everything we needed and we loved that the fireplace was all set to light a fire with dry wood and newspaper laid out!

This cabin is so beautiful and peaceful - it is more amazing than the photos! Hannah was extremely responsive and helpful, and the cabin was squeaky clean. We enjoyed walking to the marsh right across the street and exploring the beautiful property. The cabin has neighbors nearby but still feels very remote and private. We had a wonderful time!

Had a wonderful stay at Jake’s place! Has everything you need and the view from the screened in porch was amazing! Our family utilized the recreational facilities everyday, which kept our two boys busy and happy. Would definitely return again.

This was our second stay at Janel's place and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. We loved the fireplace and views from the A frame windows. The hot tub wasn't working unfortunately, but things happen and Janel was communicative about it. Had a great weekend regardless. Also love that Janel is accommodating of dogs. Our fur babies were happy to join us on our getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin - we are two moms with two kids and spent three nights there. The place was great for us - the kitchen was very well stocked and had all the appliances and things we needed for cooking which is often not the case at other rentals so it was much appreciated. The gas fire pit / table was perfect for making s’mores and hanging out in the evening. Very peaceful and relaxed place to be. We did a great hike in the Sleepy Creek area calls Devil’s Nose and the kids had a lot of fun crossing the river and getting to the lookout. It took about 2.5 hours with lots of stops and a picnic lunch.

Our family loved staying at the Grateful moments Cabin! It was clean (without smelling like cleaning agents), cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was a treat in the cool spring weather and the kids played lots of pool/ping pong. The hosts were polite and very responsive. We are already making plans to return!

We cannot say enough about this beautiful, clean, cozy, cabin! The inside was even lovelier than the photos, and the outside area was tremendous! The axe throwing area was an unexpected yet fun touch! Our hosts were extremely kind and communicative. We will definitely be back at the Toasted Marshmallow to make more memories!

Excellent host. Very clean place, beautiful property. Laura was amazing. It was like staying with a good friend. We bought some of her eggs and delicious honey. We would definitely stay there again. My wife and I and our fur babies will miss Laura, Jerald, and Dasher.

My boyfriend and I had a great cozy weekend away at Monika’s! House was as described and we loved using the fireplace. If it wasn’t for rain/snow we would have used the fire pit as well. Monika was also nice enough to leave us some fresh local donuts that were amazing!

I had an amazing experience staying at this house. The property was exactly as described it was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic because I was looking for a place to unwind. They were incredibly responsive and welcoming, providing great tips for local restaurants and activities. The check-in process was seamless, and I felt right at home throughout my stay. I especially loved the firepit outside. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting and hope to return in the future. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I would highly recommend this home for a little getaway or family vacation , beautiful & peace - decor 👍 is awesome -the homes very well maintained - cozy & relaxing. Jess and Sam were absolutely amazing! Let us check in early, had things well planned out and easy for us to follow. Were always available if we needed to ask a question. When we had an issue, they were right on top of it to make the issue gone. Helped us secure an unexpected extended stay. The house was set up nicely with so many little extras. Couldn't ask for a better group to work with when we needed them most. Highly recommended to visit!

We had a great time relaxing at Mary-Lou's place. We took a ladies's trip-train ride for the weekend and stayed in Shenandoah Junction. There were so many things to see and do. We hiked, we barbecued, we played games and chatted. Nobody had any complaints. The host was very accommodating but we didn't have to ask for much because it was all laid out for us. The binder provided, had color pictures and descriptions on how to operate things. The kitchen was rustic-chic and very spaceous. We had a travel-chef from Sweet Robbins Kitchen prepare dinner and Brunch for us. She said she wished that every kitchen was as well stocked and organized as this one. The beds were comfortable and 'abundant'. Just book it! There were 10 ladies and no complaints.

This was a great stay for our family of 4 and our dog. the host is very helpful and responsive. a better alternative to a hotel for sure too. thanks!

Our hosts were kind, gracious, and more than accommodating. They could not have made our stay any more comfortable. Brenden is wonderful to speak to, they are quick to respond, and are exceptionally understanding and wonderful towards people with pets. I genuinely feel like I owe them more than what we were charged for our stay. This is by far the best place I have stayed at. It felt like home. Thank you!
