Welcome to Hardwood Hideaway! You will love the rustic setting just 3 miles from Leatherwood Boat Ramp. Enjoy your coffee on the full length back deck, or grab a glimpse of the sunrise from the comfort of the front porch. Enjoy central heat & air for those ever-changing temps. Cabin has fully stocked kitchen, fire pit, gas grill, & fireplace. Cabin also has a dart board, pool table, board games, and books. We hope you enjoy hiking, boating, fishing, or hunting at Cave Run Lake as much as we do!

The Cozy Den

The Cozy Den is located in beautiful Daniel Boone National Forest near Cave Run Lake. It’s cozy, peaceful and perfect for relaxing with the kids or enjoying a private getaway with your partner. The queen size bed has memory foam mattress and there’s a full size futon as well. Full size bath and equipped kitchenette. Outside deck has patio furniture and a charcoal grill. Large loop around drive perfect for boaters! Only 7 miles from Clay Lick boat ramp and less than 3 miles from Long Bow Marina.

Welcome to our Lofty Musky cabin which offers a cozy, comfortable, and scenic environment. Front patio includes a hot tub while the back patio has outdoor seating and a grill. Main house will sleep 4 comfortably with a full kitchen and social living spaces located on the lower level and sleeping quarters are located upstairs. Great for that fishing enthusiast or family getaway to be near local trails, Cave Run Lake, and other outdoor activities in the Daniel Boone National Forest.

"Appalachian Hideaway" A-Frame Hut- Cave Run Lake

A little bit of heaven in the hills of Eastern, KY. Located at Outpost Campground, a family-owned campground that offers a variety of amenities. These are very basic builds with posh decor. There is a porta potty on site and a fully equipped bathhouse on the grounds with showers and laundry. You will be located only 2 miles from a beautiful lake (Cave Run Lake) and LOTS of amazing hiking. We hope you come and hang out in our neck of the woods and enjoy the true beauty of Kentucky!

Full bathroom. Charcoal grills & fire pit available for use! Please bring your own charcoal.

Or just walk out to the porch, this house has a view of the river (only 300 ft away) Tired after a long day? Relax in the whirlpool tub or unwind by the gas fire pit. Hungry? Walk to Pop’s Barbeque— just a short walk away. As you can see... the only thing we missing you!!

The Cedar Shack

Enjoy Cave Run Lake or take a short drive (21ish miles) to Red River Gorge from our Tiny Cabin. Our Cedar Shack is a 12ft x 28ft with a 4ft porch, equipped with dual rocking chairs. The Cedar Shack is appropriately named as it is finished fully is cedar from floor to ceiling. Pets are welcome in most instances but they must be included in the guest list and there is a fee. No exceptions.
