Enjoy the curated collection of authentic regional art and vintage treasures in this tree-top hideaway and then grill on the deck or cool down with a local brew on colorful, mismatched chairs in the sun-drenched garden. Perfect for extended stays. Trails nearby! This 800+ square foot upstairs apartment comfortably accommodates four adults with two bedrooms (queen), one bath, separate living/dining, laundry room with washer/dryer, and fully equipped kitchen. Lounge on our comfy leather couch, prepare a gourmet meal to serve to guests, or relax with a book on your own private patio! This is the perfect spot for anyone looking for the comforts and conveniences of a home away from home. Guests will enjoy: - private balcony with outdoor seating - fully equipped kitchen with full-sized refrigerator(URL HIDDEN)and gas range (complimentary coffee, tea, and light refreshments) - private laundry facilities with washer/dryer - off-street, covered parking - secure storage for bikes, golf clubs, etc. - flat-screen TVs in living and bedrooms - cable/wi-fi - stereo with cd player, bluetooth, and AM/FM radio - well-stocked book/music/game library - hair dryer - basic toiletries - alarm clocks - iron/ironing board - pack 'n play. We are close to UT and downtown with easy access to MoPac. A short walk or bike ride takes you to the Johnson Creek Hike and Bike Trail, which leads to Ladybird Lake, Auditorium Shores, and Zilker Park (home of Barton Springs and the ACL Music Festival). A mile away, you'll find Deep Eddy Pool (spring fed and open year round), Lion's Municipal Golf Course (18 holes in the heart of Austin), and Lake Austin's waterfront dining. There is access to public transportation (bus) within walking distance (less than a mile). The walk is doable but not incredibly pedestrian friendly. Please note that Via Libre is an upstairs apartment without elevator access. Via Libre requires a 2 night minimum on weekends. We are happy to work with you to accommodate special requests.
