A quiet and peaceful oasis was what I wanted for my birthday, and that’s exactly what this location was. It felt secluded with an amazing view of the lake that we were able watch to unwind and spend time as a family. The biggest draw initially was the hot tub, but we didn’t even end up using it as the location was just so relaxing already. There was a large sign for the cabin just before the driveway so it was easy to find, and Dale Hollow Pizza was a no-stress dinner with great food and plenty of leftovers. Very grateful to this host for sharing such a wonderful location with Airbnb. We were not disturbed at all by any neighbors, so I imagine if you’re a polite, decent, and respectful guest that you won’t see anyone in the area unless you choose to. Very happy with how peaceful and quiet this area is.

This cabin was absolutely beautiful. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was just my husband, my adult daughter and me, but the space is very ideal for a larger family and very kid friendly. The location was close to Mammoth Cave, Horse Cave, Cave City, and Bowling Green, which were all places we visited while there. We enjoyed the Gothic tour at Mammoth cave and the tour at Hidden River Cave in Horse Cave. The guest contact, Beth, was very responsive to my questions and very sweet at giving us information on the area. The cabin itself is quite out there (in terms of location) but we don't mind that. We don't mind driving a ways in order to get a cabin that is comfortable and offers a nice location. Due to the recent flooding we didn't visit Nolan Lake and some other areas but KY never disappoints. It is a beautiful state and we will be back some day (been there twice now). I would highly recommend this stay. I was very pleased.

We absolutely loved our get away to the Hillbilly Hill-ton. Tucked away from everything, we got to focus on having fun as a family away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We did Mammoth Cave, enjoyed the hot tub, and loved the saloon! Already missing it!

LOVED our stay! Restaurant at the marina is superb, my husband said the “dirty” wings are the best he’s ever had. They had a DJ there for Friday night karaoke. Outdoor seating as well. Suggest visiting the Standing Stone State Park and looking at the trout dam and they allow fishing. Lots of hiking (pretty easy) and dog friendly. The Steel Coop in Livingston is worth visiting. They have an outdoor patio (dog friendly), karaoke on Friday night and live music on Saturday night. All together, it was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend away from home. We will be back!

We've stayed at a lot of cabins for fall and spring breaks with our kids & this is one of our absolute favorites! Everything was clean & comfortable, the hot tub is fantastic, and the layout of the house worked well for our family (kids in the basement, mom + dad in the upstairs master). There's an incredible amount of deck space (three levels!), and having coffee outside each morning was a highlight for me. The 18-hole disc golf course is a unique feature! My 7-year-old is just getting into disc golf, and we liked that we could just take him out to play a couple of holes at a time after spending the day doing other activities. A couple of things to know: (1) Grocery stores are few & far between in the area, so plan to bring most of what you need with you or to eat at local restaurants while you're out and about, (2) If you're visiting Mammoth Cave, look up information about the Green River Ferry -- not only is it a fun experience but it will save you a ton of driving time.

We really enjoyed our stay at Phillip’s place. We spent the first few days of the kiddos spring break here and visiting Mammoth Cave National Park. Mammoth Cave is about 40-50 minutes away but a really easy drive. It was nice to be away from things in such a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The lake house was very nice, super well taken care of, and clean. Phillip was also proactive and responsive. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a serene getaway. Hot tub and game room were great bonuses too!

A wonderful cabin to feel lost in. We did day trips to mammoth. Was a bit far but ultimately not bad at all! Kitchen was great! Good dining room for games and big dinners. Beds were cozy. Decor was nice!

My family & I had such a great time staying here! It was one of the cleanest Airbnbs that I have ever stayed in, if you don't mind the occasional tiny creature. Holli was extremely proactive with her messages and her descriptions of the area. There were quite a bit of food options and gas stations within a 30-minute trip. We visited Mammoth Cave during our stay, and this was not only the perfect distance away, but the perfect place to relax after being on our feet in the heat all day. Ending our nights with s'mores by the campfire was the cherry on top. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy retreat!

We had an amazing stay here. Lora was a fantastic host who was very helpful in making our weekend celebrating WKU graduation and Mother’s Day weekend full of fun memories. We can’t thank her enough for being so accommodating. She is the best host we have ever had. The house was amazing. I would highly recommend staying here!

Cozy, clean cabin nestled in beautiful scenery with ponds, nearby lake for kayaking, hiking trail with cave, waterfall, Billy Goats gruff & trolls. Hosts were very responsive. Would be a great place for family reunions. Remote--DG Market about 20 minutes away. Large porches to relax & take in the views or firepit to gather around. Toured Crystal Onyx Cave with kitchy picture ops. Visited Bowling Green. Want to come back to track a corvette & visit museum. Booked 3 nights--should have planned a whole week!

The house was perfect for our weekend away! Plenty of space both inside and outside. We went to Mammoth Cave and Louisville from here, and it was a relaxing home base.

What a comfortable place to stay! The beds were very comfortable and the house was so fun! Every where you turned you can find unique decorations and great art! And the 2 decks were very relaxing to sit on. Thanks for a great birthday weekend.

House was perfect for us, situated off one of the main roads circling Dale Hollow and secluded far enough back to not worry about noise or people passing by. Lindsey was very quick to respond to any questions we had. House was maintained well and clean. Would not hesitate to stay at again.

Richard’s active care for the land is easily noticeable in how thriving everything is at Creekdance. My son and I would have stayed permanently if we could. As I write this review, I feel I’m still there- wading in the creek and walking the trails alongside favorable company. Just a perfect place to get in tune with the elements and really appreciate how gentle and safe well cared for land can feel. I will return and I’d highly recommend those who want to experience beauty and feel recharged do so also. Truly full of gratitude- Thank you, Richard. ♥️🌀

What a beautiful and peaceful cabin experience! We had the best time recharging and relaxing on the Wilkinson Farm. I would recommend this place to anyone needing R&R or spending quality time with your family. There was so much to do on the property, we just didn’t get to experience it all on our short trip. My husband definitely did not want to pack up and go home! Hope to visit again Austin, thank you for your old fashioned southern hospitality!

Stay here! a lovely private location at the top of a hill. Out there - but worth it. We didn't mind the drive to different caves every day, and spent a lot of time in the cabin. It's well stocked and perfect for families. We loved playing games and cooking over the fire at night. Definitely would visit again.

Such a neat little place full of nostalgia and character!! We had a great time with our 3 boys! We loved playing yard games, roasting marshmallows and hot dogs, and exploring the peaceful property. Peggy is an amazing host! Readily available to help when needed. Great place if you want something in between camping and a hotel. Comfortable beds, AC, farm fresh eggs and coffee in cabins. Would be great for family get togethers where each family could rent their own cabin. Had a great time meeting some of the other guests too! Recommend giving it a try. Not far from Glasgow, which has plenty of food options and stores. Worked out great for us!

Jeff and Laura have a BEAUTIFUL property. The kids loved the goats and the mini horse. The place was immaculate and well-cared-for. What a neat idea. We’d definitely come back. The kids loved the animals so much they cried as we were leaving. Super cool place to stay and so glad we did it.

We absolutely loved the home! Of all the airbnb's we have stayed at over the years, this is by far our favorite! The home had everything we could have ever needed with extra linens, pillows and soft blankets. The surroundings were amazing and this home far exceeded our expectations. Nicholas was very responsive and helpful and we will absolutely return the next time we pass through Lucas Kentucky!

So excited to have found this hidden gem!! It was everything we expected and more. There were three floors that provided lots of space. All the bedrooms were clean, great pillows and offered a great night of rest. The kitchen was stocked more than most Airbnb’s that my family has stayed in. My family loved the modern vibe with all of the Alexa devices and smart TV’s. We were there for a family funeral and it gave us the peace and family feel we needed. We already plan to return and hopefully stay at this location in the future. Thank you for a great stay!!!
