Located on the Bourbon Trail, you are steps from Barton's Distillery and a short drive from several other popular distilleries. Churchill Downs, Keeneland, Mammoth Cave National Park and other popular attractions are within an hours drive making this cottage the perfect base for exploring Kentucky.

The Gathering Place is the perfect place to get away and gather with family and friends. The resort is located conveniently between Bardstown, Louisville, and Frankfort on the Bourbon Trail. Offseason hiking, fireplace, and hot tub make a great peaceful getaway or work from "home" experience. Enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking, hiking, bird/deer watching and relaxing. You will love the deck with scenic views of Taylorsville Lake, and a hot tub with privacy fence. Lake access is less than a 5 minute drive, and there is a community pool just down the road when in season, and other community amenities you can enjoy. Bourbon Oak Smokehouse Cottage

Historical "smokehouse" home built in 1800's. Enjoy a piece of Bardstown history with modern conveniences. Please note that the bedroom is upstairs while the bathroom is located on the first floor. In keeping with the original architecture, the stairway is somewhat narrow. Security cameras are on the outside of the property.
