The space was great and close to the downtown. Easy if you’re commuting to and from the city as the train station is not far. The space is great and being by shore front park was lovely for beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Will hope to stay again!

Had a lovely time staying. House was clean and layout was nice. I would stay at this location again.

My family and I had a beautiful stay and I couldn’t have asked for a better rental. The Airbnb was huge with more than enough room for everyone and the backyard was large and spacious enough to have everyone eat comfortably. If I ever need another large rental you can bet I’m gonna check here first.

I was there for a conference. From the house, the campus is easily reacheable (also by foot). Gaby and her husband were extremely kind, available and flexible during the whole stay. All the while being very respectful of the intimacy provided by the (bigger than expected!) studio. Thank you again!

The inside and outside areas were meticulously maintained. The weather was great, so we were able to really enjoy the pool and deck. Michelle was extremely responsive and did a great job with instructions, recommendations, and communications. One member of our party needed to work a few days, and the office space in the basement was perfect.

The house was very organized . Everything was connected to Alexa , from the lights to vacuum and faucet. There is so much entertainment for children and adults. Pool table ,’ping pong and a closet full of board games . The kitchen was equipped with all the spices you may need, pots, pans, blenders, indoor grill, and coffee machines. A starter pack of coffee and sugar and tea was provided. The neighborhood was quiet and the backyard was spacious for family fun.

Place was clean and reasonably priced for the area. Conveniently furnished with many kitchen appliances. Moderately noisy from the traffic (as you can expect close to the road) and typical noise from the rest of the house. Johnna was very easy to communicate with. Got greeted by a very cute cat as we parked outside :)

What can you say that hasn't been already said by previous reviewers. John's house in Freeport is a gem. Perfect getway for weekend for our family. We were greeted by a nice bottle of wine and a generous basket of snacks (always a nice touch). The house was spacious and super clean. The beds were extremely comfy and the kitchen was well equipped for anything you may need. So many fun things we really didn't get to take advantage of (Tiki Room, fire pit etc..). But the crowning jewel is the location on the water. If you just want a place to sit and relax as the sun rises or sets (yes you get to see both from the back deck) this is your place. John was a gracious and responsive host. We hope to be back next year.

So glad we stayed at John's beachfront home. We wanted a way to escape the noise and chaos of a large city and this was the perfect fit. Granted the commute is longer, but we couldn't get enough of the amazing ferry ride from Rockaway to Manhattan/Wall Street. Such a great way to explore NYC.

Das Apartment hat alle Erwartungen erfüllt. Ich habe mich super wohl gefühlt. Das Bett war wahnsinnig bequem, sodass ich sehr gut schlafen konnte. Natürlich ist der Weg nach Manhattan hinein von Rockaway Beach aus nicht der Kürzeste, das war mir aber von vornherein klar. Innerhalb von 75 Minuten war ich „mitten drin“, ob ich mit der Bahn oder mit dem Schiff gefahren bin. Supermarkt und das empfehlenswerte „Restaurant“ sind auch fußläufig (5 Minuten) erreichbar. Auch als alleinreisende Frau habe ich mich in der Gegend sicher gefühlt. Dass man innerhalb weniger Minuten zu Fuß bei schönstem Wetter am Strand war, hat das Ganze noch abgerundet.

We really loved staying here. Fantastic location, big patios, comfortable beds. Right by the beach. Grill, spices, speaker system indoor and big portable outdoor speaker. Two bathrooms, skylights... Big dining room table. Awesome spot! Thanks so much for having us.

My family and I had very specific needs for a 1 night stay in the Hamstead area and Romaine's place checked all the boxes. 2 separate beds in one private room, and another bed in another private room was exactly what we were looking for for a couple with 2 kids. The bathroom was clean and good sized. The entire place was clean and comfortable, with 2 TV's, a mini fridge stocked with bottled water , microwave, coffee maker and everything you wound need for all of those amenities. Street parking was no problem at all and the house is situated in a nice neighborhood. The host had great communication and everything was explained very clearly. I think this place is suitable for one person and up to 4, and possibly 5 given the futon in the room. I accidentally left a personal item of great importance to me there. The host immediately responded to me when I asked about it and mailed it back to me. It was my mistake and an inconvenience for the host, this says a lot about the host.

When I first spoke to Jen on the phone, I knew right away. She was being honest and I automatically felt very comfortable with her. She explained the house exactly the way it was, and it worked perfect for my situation. It was very comfortable and I felt right at home. What really stood out for me is the breakfast and goodies that were there in the house for me. It was just enough until I was able to get to the store to buy what I needed for the home. I would highly recommend Jen and Jen’s properties

It was in close proximity to anything you might need. Bruce was accommodating. The basement apartment was very clean and comfortable. The sheets smelled so good. We woke up early to walk 2 min to the beach for sunrise. Loved the coffee set up. Thanks Bruce for making our family trip so memorable. We would love to return next time we visit our daughter!

this home makes you feel right at home. plenty of room. great location. great host , very courteous. best place to stay if visiting long island. very safe neighborhood, short walking distance to shops, beach and LIRR station

This was our third year staying there, it always feels like home. Geraldine is there to greet you, show you around and makes sure you know you can get in touch with her at any time. The house is exactly like the photos, clean, plenty of space. There is a harbor and small beach within walking distance . There are plenty of beach towels, umbrellas, toys for a day at the beach. She makes sure on your first morning you have coffee, juice and homemade treats!! We will continue to stay here every year!!!!

We had a great family stay at this bnb.. our big family travelled from several different countries for a wedding and this was a great place to stay. Feels like home, had all the amnesties that such a big family would need. Very very spacious. And the host was very responsive. The neighbourhood was peaceful and quite, yet two streets away on a walkable distance you find great Resturant with all kind of cuisines including Italian (quite a few), sushi, shawarma, ice cream shops and Francine. Train station is a walkable distance. Costco and lidl was also in a short drivable distance.

We felt cheated at not having been able to get beach time this year and the only option for us to correct that was staying at Robert's blue cottage. It wasn't even a question for us since we've had many prior visits and knew it would be the best perfect spot to escape. Already thinking about next year! Robert was wonderful, as always, with all aspects of our visit. Let me not forget to mention the deer, 3-4 of them traveling together, spent a lot of time hanging out with us just off the deck, feeding and nestled under cover of the trees. We felt welcomed.

It was an amazing experience. Wonderful Stay. Tomi was a gracious host. The place smelled amazing and very clean. I would love to stay here again and recommend it to everyone who is interested. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

The host is very accommodating and the house was very nice. The room was perfect to lay your head for a night. Would highly recommend staying.

Even though I only stayed one night, I felt comfortable and safe. The place was very clean and cozy. Mark was a great and very responsive host.

AIi’s a great host. The house was as described, very spacious and well kept. Check-in was super easy as Ali sent me all the info 2 days before. The house is in a great location and everything is within driving distance. There’s also a YMCA 1 minute away which we used for workouts. Ali was also very responsive throughout our stay and made sure we were comfortable.
