This place is lovely. Aircon in all the bedrooms would be better, this is Queensland after all. Not great for elderly though as there's lots of stairs. Kitchen was missing a few items, and the items that were there were just all over the place in all different cupboards and drawers. Lovely bottle of champagne and strawberries, but no gladwrap or tupperware. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice house in a quiet leafy suburb. Close to shops and the river. Small but refreshing swimming pool. Everything we needed was there.

Stayed here and enjoyed the long weekend. Easy to commute to wherever you need and located nicely for our needs.

Absolutely beautiful house!! We loved our family stay. House is huge with plenty of room and lots of amenities. Bribie island is a nice place to stay, while there’s not a huge amount of activities to do on the island, Sharyn makes up for it with providing lots of things to do around the house like kayaks and fishing rods. The hosts were very quick to respond, helpful and accommodating. The only downside is (no fault of the hosts) that the neighbours are very noise sensitive even during the day so we felt a bit restricted as we normally like to play music while we bbq outside or are in the pool but we were too worried about upsetting them (the hosts did communicate this to us many times so we were aware) but otherwise the house is in a good area and close to shops! Loved our stay here and definitely would stay again!

Andre greeted us as we checked in and was very friendly. Chatted for a while making us accustomed to the house and also gave great recommendations on cafes and restaurants. The house was perfect for our family of 4 young kids with a PS3: 1 large private master bedroom with separate his/her wardrobe and a large bathroom; 3 bedrooms for the kids; even an extra "guest room" downstairs. The dining area and kitchen was great as was the outdoor area with pool which we used a few times. Close to a shopping area that had Woolworths, Harvey Norman, Rebel Sport etc and also some great running/biking treks. Overall a great house.

We stayed here as a large family group for a family wedding. The location was perfect for us. Central to family and the wedding reception etc. The house was great for five kids. Heaps of space for all of us to spread out. Even though we had horrible weather there were enough outdoor spaces that we were able to keep out of each other’s way. The kids were still in the pool twice a day at least regardless of the rain it was just a shame that we didn’t get to use the beautiful yard.

We had a great stay at Jason’s cottage. Both the cottage and the pool were way bigger than we expected from the pictures! Earlier check in was also available and Jason was always responding super quick. The neighborhood is more quiet but the train station was a 13 minute walk

Andy was very helpful and accommodating. We had a home emergency and were grateful the property was available. Communication was easy & we never had to wait long for a response. The pool was the highlight of the stay. The kookaburras in the morning was also a great surprise for the kids.

Would highly recommend staying at Roge’s Cool flat! It’s in a great location, close to restaurants and walkable to the city. Quiet yet central and great for a small doggie. Thanks Roge we will visit again next time we are in Brisbane!

Best airbnb we have ever stayed in!! we are avid travellers and airbnb hosts ourselves but Brendon and his place absolutely blew us away. He had thought of every possible thing that we might need and already supplied it, never have I known a host go the extra mile like this. Beautiful accommodation, high quality and luxurious furniture, peaceful and with so much nature but none indoors (thank god!). Thank you for your hospitality guys, we hope to come back one day

Amazing view and so relaxing. Sherree was so lovely and helpful. Highly recommend anyone who wants to get a way. Close to Daybro and so many lovely local shops.People are so friendly.

The house was well equipped and had enough space even for a big family like us. The surrounding environment was also quiet and beautiful! My little sisters enjoyed their time walking down to the park which they loved :-)

We had the most wonderful stay on Bribie Island, and a massive part of that was thanks to our incredible host, Alli. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, happy, and so genuinely helpful — an absolute delight to deal with. The accommodation itself had everything we needed and more. Quiet, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, it was the perfect little home away from home. We loved that it was within walking distance to the beach and local shops, and a quick drive had us at the Sandstone Point Hotel, where we caught a series of live bands — including a spectacular ZZ Top show! The whole vibe of Bribie is relaxed and welcoming, and we leaned into it. We enjoyed delicious meals at the local RSL (the food was top-notch!), and everywhere we went, we were met with friendly, down-to-earth locals who made our stay even more special. If you're looking for a chilled coastal getaway hosted by someone who genuinely cares about your experience, this is the place. Thank you, Alli.

Kate was a fantastic host! We booked her home for a few employees who were working nearby. Due to changes happening on site, we had to make amendments to our booking. Kate was so understanding and helped us massively with changing the dates around for us. She couldn't have been more accommodating!! The employees were happy and had no complaints during their stay. Jacks place was the perfect setting for our creative family. The eclectic choices in decor and art made us feel right at home. With a wonderful outdoor entertainment area, it truly felt like a villa pool. Easy to walk to quaint cafes and shops or head into the city by train. Hana's place was amazing. Light and airy. Quiet street. It was a fabulous place. Although we didn't use much of the space it was well equipped. Probably moreso than other places I've been. Hana is a wonderful host

Plenty of space to cater for large family gathering. Perfect for our Christmas get together. Generous bedrooms. Excellent location - 4 min drive to large mall and easy to get onto motorway to get to all the fun attractions. Really appreciate the nice gesture by the Host, Vicki to buy our kids presents for Christmas. Thank you again! Highly recommend!

We had a great stay while we were in Brisbane for a week for a sporting event. The positives include: - it being a house and so not having neighbours right next to you, - there was plenty of space to spread out, - loungeroom was comfy, - having a back yard was nice, but it rained most days we were there so didn't venture out much, - kitchen had most of what we needed (though a few more kitchen implements wouldn't go astray such as potato peeler, masher etc). Some things to keep in mind: - there is no dining table or somewhere to eat except the back patio. It rained A LOT which made this a challenge, - Also, because there is no table, I had to go to coffee shops to do some work on the laptop, - It is on a major road and so there is quite a bit of traffic noise. I sleep like a log so no problems for me, but my wife found it a bit more challenging. Overall, a comfortable place to stay about 10 mins from South Brisbane.
