We traveled with friends, and the six of us (four adults and two kids) stayed at Welyne and Gilles' home during our visit to Sarawak. We all had a wonderful time. The house is situated in a peaceful and scenic location, perfect for relaxing and recharging. It’s also conveniently close to the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, about a 30-minute drive from downtown. The house itself is well-maintained, comfortable with pool, and very well equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. Welyne and Gilles were excellent hosts—very friendly and accommodating. We especially appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the local culture, enjoy delicious meals, and take part in a durian tasting that Welyne kindly arranged. Thank you for a lovely stay. We hope to visit again in the future!

The setup and layout of the house made for a warm welcome and stay as a family of 6. Our kids had plenty of room to play around outside and in the pool. Even very roomy inside as well. Plenty of room and even had a washer and dryer for clothes washing. Will definitely stay here again for future trips to Kuching. It was only a 5 min walk to the SamaJaya Park and also within walking distance to some family friendly parks for walking in the mornings and kids to play on swings and a playground. Will recommend for our friends to stay if they ever find themselves wanting a place to just relax and spend time as a family.

there is not much to say about this house, it’s perfect in all aspect. feels like home and very clean. for improvements maybe the host can provide “real” towel not the disposable one for guest stay 3 nights/longer and add more cutlery and glass since it has very view of them. nice stay 👍🏼👍🏼 hope to stay again next trip to kuching

location is quiet and relax. facilities is well maintain. just 10 min drive to airport.

Had a great stay! The house was clean and beautiful. The host was very responsive and helpful especially when we requested a bed sheet change and extra towels. He came immediately and provided everything we needed. Really appreciate the quick response and hospitality. Highly recommended!

Adequate space for a big family to stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dalen Homestay, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and hospitality by Host's . I would say that the home felt very cosy and a quiet place for family. On top of the all excellent amenities and facilities such as bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, the host really pull an effort to make the place feels like home by providing indoor boardgames such as scrabble, carrom and congkak, which lighten up the moods for my kids. Overall, excellent stay and highly recommended.

Located at Tabuan Jaya area, 5mins to local eateries, malls and Market. 15mins to airport and town. Fantastic place, clean, comfortable and well-equipped for the stay. Responsive host too!

Bedroom one 1king and 1single with toilet Bedroom two and three 1queen each. Toilet sharing attach. Bedroom four downstair 1queen Got laundry room with detergent. 15-20min to waterfront and bandar area. 30min to samariang waterpark.

Very nice and comfortable, great stay.

Highly recommended to stay for family. House as per describe in photo. If drive/stay in the house with more than 1 car, the place/area could not accomodate and hence can park other car outside the area (food court area parking) with walking distance. Overall, no complaint! Recommended to stay. Will surely book this place again if visiting Kuching in future😀
