My husband and I stayed at the Old Post Office over the August bh weekend for 2 nights. I was looking to recuperate after a couple of minor operations and it was the perfect choice. The photos do not do the place justice, the kitchen is bigger than it looks and is beautifully fitted with well thought out appliances, a beautiful kitchen and good use of space. The little garden is a sun trap after midday and a lovely place to sit and chat. The bed is so comfy with quality linens and stylish design. Karen permitted a later check out and a full breakfast (and fizz!) was waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived, these touches elevated the experience for us. Wickham Market is only 20 mins from Aldeburgh and the curry house in the village is very good. Had a relaxing break that exceeded our expectations.

We had a wonderful stay at Clowns guest house. The accommodation was a really high standard, the bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect for visiting my cousin in the village. We would highly recommend Lydia’s place.

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Daniels place, it was spacious, clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. The milk and chocolates in the fridge were a lovely thoughtful touch. I am obsessed with horses and didn't know there were 30 horses on the land so was absolutely frilled. I was also welcomed to feed them the begs of carrots and apples I bought and this really enhanced my stay. Also loved the jacuzzi. Best part was that my mum who is disabled was catered for as the owner had bought a shower chair to accommodate our booking so mum was able to use the wet room and downstairs bedroom ad this was fantastic. We would love to come and visit again.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful character property. Alison and her partner were very friendly and helpful with local recommendations for where to eat, walking trails, etc. They had even provided breakfast supplies - bread, yummy marmalade (I think it was home made!), juice, milk, tea coffee, and even hot cross buns as it was Easter, which was a nice surprise! The property is very centrally located in town center, a couple of minutes walk to the train station and a number of pubs, bars, coffee shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.

This lovely gatehouse cottage is strictly for two persons, small but has everything you need to use as an excellent and most comfortable base. For us, it was worth every penny as it was spotless, comfortable, warm, cute and close to family for a weekend catch up where hosting numbers exceeded the number of rooms available, so this cottage was close enough to pop a couple in for a night’s sleep at the end of the evening. I would certainly choose this venue next time we do a family get together. The bed was very comfortable and bath was delightful by the way.

Great place, easy access, clean and comfortable

We stayed at Stuart's apartment for a weekend and were very happy with our stay. The apartment was clean, tidy, spacious and functional located a very short walk from the town centre with pubs, bars and restaurants all nearby. Would recommend to anyone looking to visit Ipswich or just for time away to relax.

Really enjoyed my stay , both Rachel and Marilyn very helpful and responsive to messages. It was an ideal location personally for me visiting relatives . Very comfortable bed. Lovely to have some provisions for breakfast especially the homemade marmalade . It was good to meet Marilyn the owner who made me feel very welcome.

The apartment itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had such a cozy atmosphere. It felt like a home away from home! The “Cowshed “was perfect for our stay. Situated in the grounds of a beautiful old farmhouse with a majestic in and out drive. The pub across the road does amazing food with excellent sevice.(try the pie for 2 😋) Jacky was a friendly and attentive host. Would definitely stay there again next time I’m in the area. Lesley's home was very conveniently located near where our business meetings are as well as all the shops and restaurants that we needed on the 5 days we spent in Chelmsford. Her home is pristine and the room where we stayed is very restful. Lesley is a brilliant host, getting out of her way to provide us with one of the best service we've had in an AirBNB stay and we have been in quite a few. We would certainly love to come back next time we have events in the area. Thank you very much for hosting us, Lesley! We're praying you more success in your AirBNB business.

Kitty was the most welcoming and friendly host. I loved Halesworth and could walk to the centre within 25 mins or drive there within 5 mins. I stayed for the INK festival and it was an ideal location. The bed was comfy, I enjoyed all the books and classic surroundings. The shower was great and bathroom very clean. Enjoyed the herb teas on offer in the room and biscuits. It was a blissful place to stay and Kitty helpfully offered recommendations. I’d like to stay there again next year.

Great place to stay whilst working nearby. My own front door with parking right outside made loading and unloading simple. The breakfast items supplied are a lovely touch.

Exceptional hosts, wonderful, cozy, clean, and peaceful place, great countryside walks on your doorstep and restaurants and shops in walking distance. Accommodation was spacious and we had everything we could think of, even though the shower room is quite small, it serves its purpose well. Elaine couldn’t do more for us and we really enjoyed our stay with her and Teg. The breakfast really is out of this world and the attention to detail in everything Elaine does is something to be experienced. Hopefully will come back! Many thanks for everything Elaine and Teg.

Verna’s place is absolutely gorgeous - extremely welcoming, spotlessly clean, everything you need in two beautiful light and airy rooms, very comfortable bed (very important!) with lovely bed linen and pillows. Verna had left some lovely personal touches and simple but great breakfast. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

We had a lovely stay at Sophie's and would stay again. Sophie was very hospitable and friendly and always responded quickly and clearly. the House and location are beautiful abd we had a lovely time walking through the village and exploring everything. So quaint !! we also visited Flatfird Mill which is not far by car and National Trust too as well as where Constable painted his famous picture "The Haywain.

The Maltings is quiet and secluded being just off the beaten track. However, finding it was made so much easier by Shirley's clear instructions sent out prior to arrival. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and snuggley warm with all the facilities you need for a few days away. The breakfasts were delivered at check-in and were more than enough for our 4 day stay. (A fine selection of cereals, yoghurt, fruit, juice and pasteries.). It is well placed for days out across the whole of East Anglia, with plenty of places of interest within an hour's drive. Would happily stay again.
