The apartment was very well located, easy walking distance to the town and to the marina. The kitchen was well appointed with everything clean. The view from the lounge windows was over to Arran and Cumbrae, with beautiful sunsets. Great to have a bathroom and a shower room.

Simon's place is perfect if you need a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The apartment is spacious with comfortable bedding, making it a great place to relax. I stayed there over the Easter break with my two cats, who loved watching the view of the loch. You won’t even look on TV — the scenery outside the window, with seals, dolphins, and beautiful surroundings, is captivating. There are also plenty of great hiking spots nearby. Simon is a very kind and welcoming host.

David was great host and offered a truly memorable stay. The accommodation were immaculate and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The view from the property was absolutely breathtaking and added so much to the overall experience. Our host was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable holidays.

hi myself and a colleague stayed at arran view for four days , from our booking to departure the process was seamless. The accommodation is as described on the website although the apartment is on the seafront it is still very peaceful with all amenities within walking distance i would have no problem recommending this apartment for a work or pleasure stay .

We had such a lovely stay at Charlotte’s flat in Helensburg. Such a beautiful location and the flat is so homey and has everything you need. Would 100% recommend and we’re hoping to come back!

Beautiful flat in a perfect location with stunning views! the flat was spacious for me, my mum and my sister to share, with everything we needed. Claudio met us at the flat to let us in, show us around and even brought us a little bag of groceries to get us started for the weekend! The location is great for getting around Largs and anywhere you need to drive to. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone visiting Largs. Thank you Claudio!

What we found was consistent with all the other positive reviews already given. For a two person apartment, it is exceptionally roomy and comfortable. If, like when we were there, Scotland actually countenances some sunshine, you will find the apartment flooded with morning sun reflecting off the water - quite something and even better from the balcony. Very good quality furniture and the fittings and equipment provided were mostly good too. Excellent instruction manual and note for getting to Whiting Bay was easy to follow and very accurate. Helpful and friendly written messages from host. The spectacular Glenashdale waterfall is within fairly easy walking distance and, as walking from the bottom to the top of a glen goes, not too demanding! Given what we got, we think the apartment was very good value.

The property has the most amazing views of the loch and we sat out every evening on the picnic bench overlooking the scenery. We were of course very lucky we had sun, but i imagine even in rain, the property would feel cosy and there are amazing views from the lounge and kitchen. Brian, the host, was very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay. Check in was easy and Brian gave local recommendations for us too. All of us also said that the beds were super comfy and, as we ate in almost every night, the kitchen facilities were excellent. We hope to be back to this wonderful spot again!!

We had our mums 80th with her family and the place was so well equipped with everything you need the rooms and space was fabulous and very well presented with its own individual character,the area brought back so many memories for my mum we can not thank and praise Alan and the place enough Thank you

We had the most wonderful stay at Loch View House! The location is incredibly serene and scenic and the house itself is gorgeous with really thoughtful touches! The place was big enough to host all 12 of us, including kids and each room is perfectly decorated! Ema was incredibly friendly and on hand to help too! We’ve made some incredible memories that we’ll treasure forever.

We had a lovely couple of days here as a family. Home was lovely spacious and gret views. on arrival were greeted and shown round by familys lovely son. scones and wine waiting for us which was a lovely touch. views from the hot tub were stunning and the rivwr at the botom of the garden made for lovely sounds. Wether was great so made it even more special. would definately return. thanks for having us.

We had a wonderful stay!! Lynn is an amazing host: very responsive, friendly, kind, and thoughtful. The home is absolutely beautiful with a fantastic view of the loch. There were seven of us (adults) and we were all very comfortable. The garden (yard) is large with soft, mossy grass, which our dogs loved! Helensburgh is not too far and offers nice places to eat (La Barca's) and fun stores for shopping (Tweedies). Highly recommend! 5 stars🌟

Thanks so much to Grant for letting us stay. I couldn’t recommend his place enough - a perfect spot for us whilst we investigated Arran. Grant was a great host, going above and beyond to provide a high chair and baby bath for our infant.

Het is een heel fijn huis. Je kijkt prachtig uit over een riviertje en de tuin is heerlijk. Anita had ontzettend fijne tips om de omgeving te ontdekken. Ook werden we elke keer ontzettend lief begroet door de hond Alfie! We hebben enorm genoten!

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. The Mill is absolutely stunning - the photos don’t do it justice at all. It is beautifully put together with a well equipped kitchen, smart decor and so many interesting bits and pieces to give interest. There was such care and consideration given to making sure all needs were catered for from the toys and books to the extensive CD and DVD collection. The grounds are breathtaking and it would be easy to go nowhere else. We were very well looked after and enjoyed the sauna, hot tub and a campfire. This is the perfect place for a family to find peace and reset. Walking up to the birds and the sounds of the waterfall was like a detox. We petted donkeys, saw bee hives, looked for fish and paddled in the water. Our children are already planning a further stay. Exceptional value for money and just beautiful. Thank you Lorraine and the wonderful Arjun for looking after us so well.

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of our two nights stay. The space in the house was wonderful…. Loved the glass collection too. Ate well in local restaurants. Thank you Fran and John for the welcome and the great hospitality package. Thanks again.

Lovely little flat in a beautiful location. I needed to catch up on a few days of work and this was the perfect place. Clean, wonderfully decorated and quiet. Communication was prompt and very helpful. Great little place!

We had the best time here! Scott helped us out a lot by accomodating us a day early when our when broke down. The place was clean and very modern, everything we needed was there! We walked into the city almost every day but the subway is fairly close so that is an option too. You don't have to go far for the best food, our favourite place was just 10 mins walking distance! We will absolutely come back to Scotts' when we come back to Glasgow!

This well-equipped ground-floor apartment looking out onto the sea a few 100 ms away is fairly centrally located in Ayr. Good access to Burns birthplace in Alloway and the amazing Culzean castle along the coast. If you are interested in history, there is much to see in the neighbouring countryside and coastline apart from the town-centre. Alison is a great host and left lots of welcome treats including butter, milk and Scottish goodies! She was quick to respond to our queries and provided lots of useful advice. A wonderful stay in a cosy, clean and comfortable flat with a reasonable time to check out at 11 am! Kids loved access to both Netflix and Disney! Thank you Alison!

Lovely apartment in a very active and convenient location. Lots of things to do around the area. Some of the photos in the listing are outdated, however the apartment was even better than the photos suggest. We got clear instructions on how to check-in, and flexible offerings for late checkout. The apartment is full of amenities too (though we didn't make a lot of use of them ourselves). There was tea and coffee provided, though it would have helped to have some milk.

Fantastic place to stay on Bute with a group of friends. Nice space to relax at the back of the property also. Will hopefully book again.

Lovely place for a couple. Made to feel welcome from the outset, especially as there was a welcome card and Scottish tablet and shortbread out for us on arrival! Contact from Vincent was quick, friendly and efficient. He went out of his way to get everything ready for us and the Old Post Office was just perfect. It had everything we needed and more, including a handy guide to facilitaties in the area. The location is lovely - right on the loch with the sun setting over the hills. There are some amazing examples of wealthy Victorian Glasgow merchants' houses along the shoreline- well worth a walk around to see. The local pub at Kilcreggan is very friendly and does good food and for more choice Hellensburgh is a pleasant 25 min drive and the shores of Loch Lomond are just a bit further - so 3 lochs all within easy access. All in all, we would highly recommend the Old Post Office and hosts.

We have used this property on several occasions and it remains a favourite of our group who visit Inveraray on a regular basis.
