Wonderful stay. The location is unbeatable. So close to the beach. A quiet area which is exactly what we were looking for. Kalid is extremely responsive. Thank you for opening up your home.

My family and I had an amazing time staying at this beautiful home over Easter! The views from the house were breathtaking and the ease of access to the beach was great. There was plenty of extra beach gear supplied as well (coolers/chairs/boogie boards/beach cart) which came in handy!! The rooms were spotless and the kitchen had a plethora of cooking utensils and miscellaneous spices if you forget anything! We will be surly renting this property in the future! Shane was so responsive and helpful with local recommendations and instructions as well!!

When the app says that Mariano is a superhost, they are right on the money! This property is beautiful, well stocked, very spacious and just lovely! We stayed here twice in 2 months and and will definatrly be back soon! Thank You Mariano! You are awesome and very responsive! Hope to See you agsin soon!

While we were on our way to Arlene's house she contacted me to let me know the street and driveway were flooding due to the high waves. She said if it was too hard to get in, her husband would take us to the house in his truck. We were able to make it in but it was a very kind offer and went above and beyond! Arlene's house was comfortable with an amazing view. A lot of the beach had receded away due to storms which made walks on the beach difficult at times but the view from her decks made up for it. The only thing we could have wished for was a bit more yard with less tall prickly vines to walk our pup and to walk thru to the beach due to the driveway and road being flooded. All in all, we had a WONDERFUL time and I would come back again. Thank you Arlene for your very fast responses and offer of your husband's truck to get in! If we come back to the area we will absolutely see if your home is available again.

With just about every amenity you could possibly want this was a terrific place to stay and gave us a great first impression of what it’s like to be in the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Highly recommended. we explored pretty much the entire island and hands-down this was our favorite spot - 5 stars!

Definitely a comfy cottage! Kitchen had everything we need, plus some! Loved the little dock and access to everything in the storage room for outside fun is a plus. Kathleen was super informative and helpful before the stay, because of this we were able to enjoy our time and had no reason to figure things out on our own or contact the host.

Everything was wonderful! We visit OBX every year and this may have been the greatest place yet. Beautiful beach, quiet surroundings, wonderful hot tub, everything we needed and more than we expected! Danielle was a great host. We and our kids (dogs) loved sitting on the porch and deck watching the pelicans, gulls, cormorants and dolphins. Absolutely a wonderful time. We highly recommend Danielle and the Castle. We would definitely stay here again.

The home was spacious and clean. Stores, beach, restaurants, and activities all within walking distance. Highly recommend! Sandra was very responsive and the maintenance people were quick to arrive and address a burnt out light bulb even though we advised it wasn’t an emergency. Great place to stay and great people to work with.

Great location, perfect walk to the beach, almost like oceanfront. Great hang out space and kitchen. Lots of extra blankets, fan for the white noise people. Great outdoor shower and basketball hoop. Walk to the beach was quick and not too challenging. Clean pool and hot tub!!! Would definitely come back!!!
