Corinne was a amazing host. The place was super clean and comfortable. I always said it is not able the size of the room or just the location, I can feel the love and care from the host in the whole room. I think I stay here every time I go to Blowing Rock area. Thank you for caring and attention to details.

My stay at Jennys place was perfect. The apartment is clean and cozy with everything you need. The location was ideal for me visiting family in town, very centrally located. I appreciated the light by the road to help me find the driveway as I came in late every evening. Super helpful! I could hear the host and family above the apartment but it was not excessive and never bothered me. As a solo traveler it was actually comforting to know I wasn’t completely alone and someone was close if I needed something. The apartment is decorated nicely and even has some local artwork. The kitchenette has everything needed for simple meals and coffee. The bed sheets were the cherry on top. The softest I’ve ever experienced, I loved them so much that I intended to look for a tag so I can buy some but forgot! All in all I had a wonderful stay and will absolutely book again next time I visit Lenoir.

A restful place to unwind after a busy day enjoying the local surroundings & activities. Check in was very easy, access was clear and parking is right at the front door which made it easy for me & would be perfect for anyone with disabilities! Very sweet little touches of handmade things around along with pieces of nature that made me feel right at home. Fresh cool water, coffee at hand, and plenty of towels for a single person or a couple. I will definitely be back when in the area.

DJ’s place is wonderful. It’s a great location (Gamekeeper is a short walk!), beautiful views, and so peaceful and quiet. It was so clean and updated, and we found the space comfortable after a day of exploring. DJ is quick to respond.

We chose this place because we wanted somewhere that we could explore the mountains, that was close to restaurants, and was child-friendly for our 6-year old. This was everything we could have wanted and more - there were so many awesome toys that the little one wished we could stay for many more days, just so he could keep playing at the apartment! We hope to come back in the winter for some snow - it was a lovely spot, accessible to many parks and restaurants, and an easy drive from Charlotte. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Enjoyed the stay very much. Beautiful and tranquil place in the mountains. It was a little warm & humid inside the space at times, but we were notified in advance that there was no AC and im sure this wouldn't be an issue during the cooler months of the year. Was able to place the box fan near the window and cool things off considerably in the first room. Also, there are some steep inclines and sharp turns to get up to the parking spot. I didn't have a problem with this myself but it may be worth noting for more inexperienced drivers or people that may not be comfortable driving on such terrain. Would gladly stay there again.

J & K’s place was perfect for a weekend getaway from the city! We had a ball visiting trails, eating great food & even made it to Tweetsie Road (born & raised here in NC but my first time going)! The apartment was the perfect size, quiet, felt very snug & cozy & the sheets, mattress & pillows made us just wanna lay in bed! May roast some marshmallows in the fire pit next time. The hosts were very responsive, friendly and accommodating! We would definitely come back here the next time we’re in Boone!! Thank you sooooo much John & Kellia!!

Jade was an amazing host! Every time I messaged her, she responded quickly. She answered any and all questions and gave great suggestions! Her home is aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. She even provided items that she didn’t have to in order to make our stay more welcoming. The hot tub right by the creek was what sealed the deal for us! This location is about an hour or so from anything to do which gave us a sense of relaxation that we haven’t had before. Thanks, Jade!

The location is very close to Appalachian State University. It has pretty views of the mountains. There is a gas station nearby. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

The Wanderer was an incredible find. Beautiful home nestled on the mountainside, overlooking the woods and creek. Spotless interior, sophisticated decor, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen made for a great stay. Thank you Erin and Jonathan, we will be back!

This cute rental is perfect for a single person, small family or couple. My son and I stayed for a ski race and it was ideal. Clean, great host, cozy, convenient to Boone or Linville. The host is top notch and very responsive. Enjoy.

My second time staying here and it was as great as the first time. The personal touch of leaving me a note is awesome!

Peggy and Greg were phenomenal hosts, the place was beautiful! We ran into some car trouble and they were so very helpful! I cannot wait to come back again and stay here! The place is great, and the hospitality stands tall. They were a big part of us enjoying our trip!

This is really lovely place by the river! Great view and surroundings. I especially like the layout very compact and cozy. There are two other airbnb places above this so I heard people walking around but not an issue. One issue is I couldn't find any pans only pots inside the place (had to cook the steak I brought with a pot lol) which I reported to Erin and she promised will address. Another is the sheets are a little stained and spotted hair I wish Erin could address them. There's also no dishwasher which is fine but the check out instruction asks to leave dishes in dishwasher so that was confusing. Overall a great get away place for friends or couples. Will visit again if the issues are addressed!

The unit was as described/pictured. It is about a 25 min walk to the center of town. There’s a sidewalk. As described, there aren’t cooking facilities beyond the microwave . I liked that all the switches are labeled. We would stay there again.

I stayed a week for work with my two senior dogs. It worked well for a short stay and was less than ten min from town. The neighborhood isn’t walkable so exercising the dogs required a trip to nearby park which is only ten min away. Space was clean and had lots of natural light looking over the back pasture. Maureen was kind enough to let my dogs out when my regular Walker was unavailable. For longer stays for work I usually need a full kitchen and a larger space but this had everything needed for quick meals and a good nights sleep.

Barbara is an excellent host. The property is exactly as pictured and described. The views of the surrounding area are outstanding. Barbara has the unit well stocked with everything you would need for a long stay. It has a warm, cozy feel to it. Every day has a wonderful feel to it at Barbara's Place. Thank you for having us!

If you are looking for a perfect getaway around Boone this is the perfect spot. Lance is an incredible host, he fired up the sauna and the hot tub for us multiple times. The pond with the rock was a beautiful backdrop for our stay, def will be back in the summertime when we can swim. Love this place and will most definitely come back.

Haus Edelweiss airbnb was cozy and comfortable. All areas were clean and inviting: a comfortable bed with multiple pillow and cover choices; a clean bathroom with a shower and a washer/dryer set; a suitable kitchenette with snacks and bottled waters in the refrigerator. Hosts Mike and Judith provided a lot of information regarding local sites and restaurants. They went above and beyond when the power went out (due to a storm), texting us and providing drop chords that were connected to their generator. It was a wonderful stay with warm and friendly hosts who met our needs while respecting our privacy.

Very friendly and proactive hosts. Our place was a bit chilly initially, but the electric fireplace worked like a charm. We all loved the stone shower. We would stay here again.

Carol and David have built a beautiful world and we are so fortunate that they share it with us. We immediately felt welcomed and comfortable in their roomy and thoughtfully stocked apartment. It far surpasses the photos and there are so many careful touches (especially catering to dog people!). Our stay was too short and busy, and we didn't have nearly enough time to really enjoy the surroundings and the forest view of the balcony. Carol, David, and their adorable pups were wonderful hosts. I'm sure their place is equally enjoyable in fall, winter, and spring, and can't wait to return for subsequent visits.

Margaret was a splendid host! Her space was very inviting and cozy. She has really put a lot of thought into it and I could tell how much she cares. I would absolutely stay here again!!

Couldn’t ask for better accommodations and location for a weekend getaway. We hope to return soon!
