Although the property is situated in a slightly rural area, the host went above and beyond by assisting with transportation to the parking area and even offering a more convenient alternative for easier access. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I highly recommend this stay to others.

This place had a mixed experience overall. The location itself was quite decent — the ambiance was calm and pleasant, and the staff were very polite and helpful. Stay felt like Home The bathroom facilities were also good and Room was well cleaned and spacious too. owner response was very quick. As for the amenities, Wi-Fi was available. The parking space was good and the kitchen was an exceptional part as we can cook over selves with all basic amenities. Just a small issue like leakage of water in one bathroom, But Honestly this place could easily become a great spot to visit and it really feels like Home 🏠

We had an amazing stay with my family. It’s a beautiful house with excellent interiors. The house is clean and well maintained. Manager Anoop and his wife was very helpful and polite. I would strongly this place to families visiting kerala. Special thanks to Mr. Sanjeev for his wonderful home.

Had a delightful stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city with easy access to shops and restaurants. The host especially Mr Thomas and Thusara was incredibly accommodating, providing clear instructions and quick responses. The apartment itself was clean, cozy, and full of character. Absolutely loved our stay at this stunning villa! The rooftop bar area was a standout – what a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy the views. This was a true gem! The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive to any queries or requests. One of our family had mobility issues and we were provided with a wonderful wheel chair that was perfect to move around the property. It was lovely having g two outdoor spaces that were covered to enjoy the beautiful scenery. There was some furniture that is a bit dated and in need of replacement in one of the rooms, but the beds were excellent and the bathrooms were beautifully appointed. The location was away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas. There was a beach close by with hardly anyone on it, almost like having a private beach! Breakfast was provided, food was great! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff Highly recommend this for individuals as well as for larger groups

The place is close to all the near by cafe's and the Varkala Cliff. The manager Vijeesh was extremely helpful with information and helped us with whatever we needed. Overall a pleasant stay.

Had a wonderful stay with family and friends. All details in tact with the description given in the website. Good clean spacious rooms. Never felt away from home and ample parking space. Ot would have been better if provided bath towels and washing machine also to be repaired as we had problems with it. Other than these everything perfect.

The house is amidst a beautiful, serene space. Absolutely loved the experience and will definitely recommend & visit again! It’s so peaceful that you can only hear the wind and birds; not even once did I hear even a horn. The bed in the master bedroom upstairs is big enough for a couple and a child. Downstairs bed room can be used by a single person. My dogs were the most excited I’ve seen them in the last couple of years! Kitchen had enough utensils for basic cooking. The water stream nearby will only have water depending on many factors so better ask before you book, if it’s something you’re looking forward to. It would be nice if all fences could be closed- so that furry friends can be confined to the property and left loose. Looking forward to visiting when the pool is ready.

We had a lovely time. Mr Amal Dev the caretaker was very helpful and went out of his way to help arrange food and activities. We were picked up at the Kollam train station and taken to the house. We had a great cook who prepared traditional Kerala dishes and Amal arranged for a great driver to take us around. The food is a bit pricier than you might find local restaurants, but it's good home cooked authentic Kerala dishes. We had a few small issues with washing machines and such but overall a good base for visiting Kollam and Asthamudi Lake. If you are visiting from abroad, you might want to pack some extra power adapters as the sockets don't all support foreign plugs.

Alex and Beena were more than a host. One of the best Airbnb stays I’ve had. It was like a home away from home. Be it Beena’s welcome breakfast or Alex being the perfect local guide. We couldn’t have asked for more. I would recommend everyone who’s visiting Kollam,Varkala or the nearby places to opt for Alex’s Airbnb. Just like the house, our trip was beautiful because of people like Alex and Beena :)
