Welcome to the Ponderosa B&B

Our farm-style B&B is the perfect place to relax in tranquility. Only 20 minutes from Christchurch City and two minutes to the local town, this guesthouse is the perfect rural experience without being far from where you need to go. The Ponderosa B&B is self-contained and independent from the main home, with private access and parking. We welcome dogs and can even arrange grazing for horses. It is fully furnished for your comfort, down to board games, tennis court and fresh chicken eggs.

Cosy up on a cold night with the brand new log burner lit or enjoy lazy summer nights on the sheltered deck enjoying a home cooked BBQ and a cheeky wine.

Our Wine Pod, a beautiful Tiny House, sits privately nestled on the Georges Road Winery & Vineyard, with panoramic views across the vines to the hills & alps beyond. Enjoy the hot tub under the stars, relax on the deck, enjoy a complimentary wine tasting up at the Winery, use our complimentary bikes to explore the area, with kitchen and bbq (bring your own supplies or purchase local antipasto fare at our Cellar Door), luxury bedding, bluetooth sound and with breakfast included.

Mariners Cabin: Your seaside escape

Mariners Cabin is a modern and minimalist retreat situated in picturesque Cass Bay, perfect for solo travellers or couples looking for a serene escape. This cabin (13 square meters in size) is suspended in the trees, offers the best proximity to beach views, an outdoor bath, barbecue, and a romantic outdoor dining area. It also features an authentic wood burner, ensuring warmth and coziness during chilly nights, while the comfortable double bed provides a restful night's sleep.

Ashley Downs 2-bedroom apartment

Escape to our warm, modern apartment nestled in a peaceful country setting, just 10 minutes from the charming boutique town of Rangiora. Enjoy the comfort of open-plan living, a well-equipped kitchenette, and two bedrooms. There is also a king-single sofa-bed in the lounge. Beautiful charming cottage with fantastic view. The cottage has a queen bed, a sitting room, shower, bath and toilet with own deck. Not self-contained but has a gas cooker, bbq set, microwave, mini fridge, kettle and toaster. Tea/Plunger coffee are provided. There is a walking track below the cottage and also more walks around here. We are located in Diamond Harbour, 20min walk to jetty that you can catch a ferry to Lyttelton, only 10min ride, beautiful journey.
