Located next to the beautiful Rogue River, minutes from interstate 5, between Medford and Grants Pass. The Carley Cabin is your place to create memories of a lifetime, whether you are fishing(one of the best fishing holes), rafting, wine tasting (local wineries galore), going to Britt or Shakespeare, exploring Crater Lake or historic Jacksonville, taking a Hellgate Jet Boat excursion or just a getaway. Come barbeque and relax on the patio or take a walk down to the river and enjoy the fire pit.

Woodland Cottage near Jacksonville Dog Friendly

It seems remote, so your nervous system relaxes on 60 acres in nature's stillness, yet it's only 10-minutes drive to Jacksonville or Medford; 25-min to Ashland. Long stays welcome. Our sanctuary has modern comfort & convenience, a king + queen bed, 2 sofabeds, full kitchen, TV, large library + views. Our land supports evergreens, gardens, ranch critters (chicken, dogs), a shallow pond, hilly hikes to BLM trails, peaceful places to hang out. We welcome Canine Companions ($30/week fee) & Kids.

Roadside Treehouse

A treehouse that is located just two miles away from I-5 on exit 24. It’s by the roadside so expect cars passing by. Studio type. We only have WiFi extender from our barn so sometimes you can’t get a signal from the treehouse. We’re out in the countryside so there’s no street lights. It’s very dark at night. So if you come after dark please let me know ahead of time so I can tell how to get here specially if you come from I-5 south. The GPS will tell you to turn on our neighbor’s driveway.

The closest access to the river is only 10 mins away at Matson Park! After a day of exploring, enjoy your hot tub with a wooded view or stargaze by the shared fire pit. Our guest cabin has remodeled upgrades and is perfectly located minutes off the 5 freeway and just 3 miles from downtown Ashland's Shakepeare Fetival, Plaza shops, beautiful Lithia Park and Resturants. Venture to local lakes including Crater Lake, historic Jacksonville, and wineries in the pituresque Rogue Valley from our central location. Enjoy the privacy of our gated property with peaceful surroundings!

Only 52 miles to Crater Lake National Park, with local fishing, rafting, hiking, wineries, golfing & more.
